Whenever Cora went out for walks, it seemed like they would last for
a long time. She wanted to embrace nature's purity and innocence.
She walked and thought about her daughter, Regina, and her
recently promoted status as queen. Regina didn't know that she did
know much of what happened in the past, but it was a secret that
Cora kept for a long time. She had waited for this day, to seek
revenge on Queen Eva and to make their lives horrible.
Regina was a sensitive girl, full of aspirations and wants. Cora didn't
mind it, but didn't care for it too much either. She was set on making
Regina's life wonderful and fantastic and anyone who got in the way
could pay the price of being hurt tremendously. A girl by the name of
Snow, was someone Cora despised. She was only a little girl, yes,
but a spoiled brat at the least. She got everything her heart desired.
She remembered about when Princess Eva told Prince Leopold
about her child, spreading rumors around the castle. And, then, when
she was to make things right, the brat ruined everything. She was to
give the disgusting gardener, Jonathan, riches. This was something
she wanted from him, but she had it all now. She had everything she
wanted from before, except the revenge. She wanted Snow to have
a terrible life, like she made her own daughter have.
Regina wasn't supposed to have a terrible live, but there was nothing
she could do to prevent her emotions. Her first child was given away
into a tornado, which was also Princess Eva's wrong doings. She
would've had a family before, but her emotions were masked. She
couldn't give Regina love or tolerance because of what Eva did to
her. Snow White was a product of lies. There wasn't true love, which
was something she laughed about. Leopold and Eva were a product
of an arranged marriage since their youth.
She secretly was happy about how some of the things worked out.
Leopold never loved Eva but still was stuck with her. Even though
Eva was with Leopold, Snow White was a mistake. The product of
two people who Cora despised so much was the product of every
bad thing in her life currently. It was her fault, yes, that Regina's true
love had died. Cora wouldn't of known about it if Snow hadn't told
her. She laughed about how stupid the girl could possibly be.
Snow was nothing like her mother, yes, but she still reminded her of
who she would grow up to be. Queen Eva was always a prissy,
perfect, and angst filled girl with many ambitions. Cora was happy to
see the woman die and Regina become Leopold's queen. Snow
would be going through many hardships in the future, which was a
product of what her mother did to Cora. She wanted Eva's daughter
to endure the same hardships that Cora had to deal with,
independence, heartbreak, denial, want of power. She would do all
of this eventually, but life had to keep going. She would wait patiently
before she act on any impulse.
Queen Eva was no better than Cora, she would remind herself. She
did everything in her power to make Cora upset. Cora had only been
trying to defend herself and take what was hers. She knew that
Leopold loved her, so she wanted to be his queen so that way both
of them could be happy. Leopold could live under false thoughts of a
woman being able to love him and Eva could suffer without a
kingdom with Leopold. She had done so much to Cora, so she was
only trying to repay the pain that she caused her.
Snow White was a dumb brat with no potential to do anything but
what her mother did. Cora just wanted to rid the world of the potential
destructive hierarchy and to do the world a favor. She wanted
someone with just abilities and perfect thoughts to be a leader for
once. Being born into royalty isn't something that one would
appreciate, but working for it is something that people would gasp
at. Cora wanted to be noticed; to make sure all of her hard work was
redeemed eventually. Eva's choice at love was something selfish
and caused her to die. Eva's love was her weakness, her greatest
one. Snow White's love and good spirit could possibly be also what
causes her death.
Cora Mills had been avoiding Snow White for some time, but stayed
on the path outlying the castle grounds. She walked and trudged
along, thinking of some plans that might cause her family some more
happiness. There was a greater step that she had to make, as
Leopold was not going to cut it with being a king. He had to
eventually die and someone would have to take his place.
As Cora thought about different plans and outcomes, a young Snow
began to walk curiously towards her. She was wearing a blue
hooded cape with a white dress underneath. Cora turned around
abruptly to see the young girl staring at her. Cora rolled her eyes and
walked closer to the girl, inspecting her similarities with her mother
and father. "So, you are Queen Eva's daughter," she began, looking
into her eyes, "I wouldn't think that you would want to be around me,
after what happened with Regina."
Cora smiled at the young girl, and took a deep breath. She wasn't in
the mood for stupidity or questions. She was also definitely not in the
mood for her biggest enemy's daughter to be staring at her red
lipstick any day. She had purposefully gotten Regina to feel
malicious towards her, as Regina would have to hate her for her plan
to go anywhere. Snow White's pure heart would have to crumble into
Regina's determined fingertips. This would be what it would take for
Cora to feel like she had completely had revenge; to take the child of
the couple who took her firstborn from her.
