Regina Mills was currently walking down the path that had been there since Storybrooke existed. She felt like she was walking down memory lane, to be honest. She could remember back to before the curse occurred. The first one, the one that she had enacted. She realized that everyone seemed to be right. She was a different person now than she had been.
Regina was still quite upset over Emma bringing Marion back, but she had moved on from that as well. She just wished that she could find a way to get Marion unfrozen for Robin. Robin...the thought of him made her want to smile and cry at the same time. She wanted to smile because whenever she was around him, she felt like she was about to have her happy ending after all.
But Regina also wanted to cry, because it reminded her that Robin was married to Marion--whom she tried to help, but she couldn't. She felt the wind whip her hair back as she stared at the sky, stopping her walking.

Robin had just been walking on the streets of Storybrooke trying to clear his head from all the troubles and woes life had to bring along. Shaking his head, Robin rubbed his face with a sigh, as he felt the cool air nip at his face, that felt good on the tense man. It was almost like a refresher for the man.
He was so worried of keeping his family intact, but pursuing after the one person he loved. Love really was a giant mess, and made life somewhat of a challenge, that sadly everyone had to go through at some point in their life. When he felt another gust of the wind, Robin let his hands go from his face, as he let the coolness hit his flesh, which was oddly refreshing to him.
Walking for what seemed a few minutes, Robin payed little, to no mind where he was going and he ended up just steps away from none other than the woman he had been seeing, Regina. With a gentle crooked smile, Robin walked close to Regina. She was beautiful as ever, and Robin coughed a little bit clearing his throat.
"Regina? What are you doing out here love? It's getting quite cold." Robin spoke as he stood in front of Regina, his blue eyes meeting her eyes.

Regina was lost in her thoughts, oblivious to someone walking up close behind her until he spoke. She startled, relaxing only when she saw it was Robin. She smiled softly, feeling touched at his concern. "I was just walking around, thinking to myself and getting some fresh air. I barely even noticed the cold, really."
Another thought occurred to Regina as she met his gaze with her own, but it went out the window as soon as their eyes met. That happened almost every time. It took her a moment to remember what it was and once she did, she smiled again. "What about you? Getting some fresh air, like I was?"
Regina couldn't seem to get the smile off of her face right at the moment, just seeing Robin made her feel that way right about then. She knew it wasn't something that she'd be able to enjoy forever, but for now she would have moments where she did. It wouldn't be until Marian woke up that Robin would be off-limits to the queen. She just hoped that when that happened that at least Robin was happy.

Robin smiled, and he nodded. "I would give you something, but I don't think my shirt would help much." Robin replied, and looked to his shirt that was somewhat dirty from the Enchanted Forest. He felt bad he couldn't provide something to shield Regina from the winds, so he was about to speak, until closing his mouth once more when Regina spoke.
Listening to her question as to why he was out, Robin sighed. "I have quite a bit on my mind today. Came for a simple relaxing stroll around the town." Robin said honestly, and he took hold of Regina's hand, looking down to it. "You know, you should get back before your family misses you." Robin mentioned as he kept trying to clear his mind.
Sometimes Robin just wanted his wife to be unfrozen, but other times he remained at conflict with himself as he sometimes hoped, prayed, and wished that Marion would remain frozen, and he could keep life as it was now. Just Regina, and himself with Roland, and Henry. Robin felt things would be so much easier, had Emma not brought his wife back to Storybrooke.

Regina glanced down at Robin's shirt, chuckling a little at his statement. "That's true, plus then you would be cold. I don't want that." She smiled up at him, simply because she appreciated the fact that he was looking out for her.
Listening to Robin answer her question, Regina wondered if there was anything that she could do to help. He took her hand and she curled her fingers around his, holding onto it. "If you want to talk about it, you could talk to me if you wanted to."
Then Robin mentioned her going back before her family missed her, and she smiled at the thoughtfulness of the man she loved. She was still conflicted about her feelings, because he was married and if his wife were to unfreeze, then she had a feeling he would go right back to her' it was the honorable thing to do, and if anyone were honorable, it was Robin Hood. "I'm sure they don't right now. I checked on Henry before I came out here and he was sitting with one of Hook's friends. Katarina, Katalina. Something like that. She's generally giving people the silent treatment, but I think she's harmless. How's Roland doing?"

Robin smiled crookedly, and shrugged. "Hey. It'd keep you warm. Besides, I'm pretty sure I look good shirtless. Plus you can't say you don't enjoy the view." Robin said sarcastically, but playfully. Dropping is, as he saw it - failed - attempt at joking, Robin held her hand in his still. He felt comfortable with her, and he enjoyed the time with her, when she wasn't busy. Or he wasn't busy himself.
Listening to Regina speak, as she spoke of how nobody knew she was gone, and that her son was spending time with someone. Robin did not the woman Regina spoke of, nor did he other to find out. He had his eyes set on few people, and if you wern't one of those, he didn't really pay much mind to you. "Well. Would you rather accompany me to dinner then? My treat. And it's good to know she is harmless, would you like to find out for you though?" Robin asked Regina. He cared about her, and she cared about her son. So he cared for the boy. Plus, the boy wasn't so bad when you spoke to him.
When Regina asked of his son, Roland, Robin walked to stand next next to Regina. "He, is doing quite well. He enjoys it here, in the forest. He has met many people he cares for, one being you. He sees you as much of his motherly-figure." Robin playfully nudged Regina, and he looked down the road. "So dinner? I'm starving. You should join me." Robin was feeling in an oddly playful mood.

Regina felt a blush rise in her cheeks at Robin's comment, and she chuckled a little bit. She knew he probably did look good without a shirt on, but then he would feel colder. "As that is true, I don't want you getting cold either."
Regina's eyes lifted to his for a moment, the smile reaching her eyes at the invitation to dinner, and seeing for herself that Katalina was harmless. She nodded, excited to be spending time with Robin. "I'd like that very much. And it's true, I would actually want to see for myself that Katalina's harmless."
After Regina asked him about Roland, she got a surprise by him telling her that his son looked at her like a mother-figure. "I'm glad that he is enjoying it here in the forest. He is a remarkable boy that you have there, Robin." Regina chuckled at the nudge, and squeezed his hand affectionately. "Dinner with you? I wouldn't miss it for the world."

Robin laughed when caught sight of Regina blush slightly. It was always a treat when he did that, because with her past experiences, Robin thought Regina needed her happy ending. With a smile smile, Robin nodded. "See. You win both ways. You get dinner, and you get to see about that woman your son is with."
Robin kept Regina's hand in his, and he couldn't feel any more at peace. He enjoyed spending his time with Regina. He didn't see the fuss everyone made about her, and it was nice, having a woman by his side who he felt was his true love. Yes, he loved Marian, but sadly not as he did with Regina. It should have been the other way around, right? Robin didn't dwel on the thought though, and he didn't quite mind about it all.
When Regina spoke of his son, Robin felt a sense of pride, for knowing he had done right by his child, and hearing about how his child was. "Thank you Regina. Henry is quite remarkable as well. He is quite intelligent, you have done good raising him." Robin kissed Regina's hand gently before he began to walk with her. "I'm glad to hear, now I know I am doing something correctly." Robin felt a surge of pride for knowing he had done something correctly, that Regina wouldn't have missed dinner with him.

Regina returned the smile that Robin offered her, knowing the words that he was speaking were true. She could definitely have dinner with him while checking in on Henry and seeing just how Katalina was. She never bothered to spend much time with the woman, as she was a friend of Killian's. That much she had gathered. "That's very true."
As they walked back toward the diner, Regina couldn't help but feel their hands holding onto each other; it felt right to her. Almost like they should have belonged this way in the first place, but it was too late to change what the future was going to bring. They would just have to wait and see what happened.
Regina could sense Robin's pride for his boy, and she had to smile. Pride certainly did look good on the man. And his boy certainly was a remarkable one. And the compliment that he gave her only made her smile wider, looking up at him. "Thank you. There were times that I wished that he came with a how-to book, but I think I have it all figured out now." She kept up with him easily, enjoying their time together. "You were never doing anything wrong, Robin. That boy loves you. And I love you."

Robin couldn't help but smile. He felt so content in that very moment, the thought of it ending made Robin feel slightly annoyed at the prospect of the night ending after dinner. Then he must say good-bye, and part their own separate ways. Unless, Robin had asked her to ice cream after. Would that be a good after dinner thing to do? This whole thing was odd to Robin, as he was not used to the whole idea of having separate shops for things. Well, certainly not shops that sold food for people. Not like the one Robin was taking Regina to for dinner.
Keeping Regina close, and holding to her hand still, Robin listened to Regina as she spoke of Henry, and how she had wished he had came with a How-To Book. He agreed with that, if Roland had come with one, it would have been easier. Robin had to learn the hard way with Roland, much like every other parent had to do with their own. Their was no instruction manual of raising kids. But, Robin had help for a few years of his sons life, before doing it alone. Regina had done it alone for years. He had respected her for that, doing good by her son, and finding a way to be both a mother, and her own self at the same time.
"You're welcome. How-To Books would be beneficial for everyone with parenting, but part of the reward is seeing how you managed to keep your kid sane. Relatively speaking, anyways." Robin looked to Regina again, and he stopped her as she spoke the last bit. "Sometimes, you feel as you do. Especially when you are doing it alone most of the time. I know he loves me, just as I love him; but sometimes I wish I could give my son more than he has."
Robin looked down to the ground, before back to Regina as he finished speaking. "I love you too, Regina." It made Robin wonder if was wrong for telling Regina he had loved her, or rather, does love her. But for some reason, he didn't care if it had made him bad, or not. Being with Regina, and being able to hold her, and tell her that he had loved her; Made Robin feel so much better about the current situation. Even if all things failed, Robin would still have Regina. He was starting to think his life could complete with her. Things felt right, the relationship felt easier than his with Marian.
