It wasn't much of a surprise that Kamaria loved the wilderness. She probably loved it, as much as she hated populated places. She was on the look out for a spot that she could call her own. Somewhere that she could escape from every day life, and just be at peace with nature.. Like she was once when she was a lioness. Currently, she was exploring the woods. She wasn't sure about it, though.. there were too many trees. There wasn't really an option of the sun shining down on her, and that's really what she wanted.
She scoped out a mossy area where the canopy was empty enough to shine down over it, and she was on the way to it now. It didn't seem very suspicious, in her mind. She just thought it was a comfortable, completely natural spot. However, when she got close to it, she realized why it wasn't so perfect. Maybe it was natural, and a hunter attempted to catch something, or someone.. Well, whatever the plan was.. it worked. One step was taken before she was scooped up in to a net, and pulled up, too high off the ground to get down on her own. "Damn it.." she hissed. How could she be so careless? How could she trust.. well, anyone, really?
Whoever set this trap was likely close, so she didn't want to call out. As always..she was on her own. "Okay, Kami," she muttered to herself. "You can do this." She then began to work at untying knots. Just when she thought she was going to be able to get out on her own, she could hear a shot gun going off. Her eyes went wide and she took a deep breath. Someone was coming to collect their prize.
"Well, Well, Well..." a strong, burly looking man came out of the treeline, looking as though he were up to something devious. "Not exactly what I was looking to catch, but I could work with you." Kamaria had never seen him before, but she knew that whoever he was, he had better hope she wouldn't see him again. "Let me go..." She growled. The man chortled. "Oh no. You're gonna stay right here with me.. It must be my lucky day."

TAG | Kovu was attempting to clear his mind. With this apparent curse recently broke, his memories came flooding back to him, causing him to recall his entire past: his mother, his life's mission . . . his feelings for Kiara. That had certainly been shocking, to find out that despite their forgotten history with each other, they had still managed to be together in this cursed town. Perhaps it was fate. He wasn't entirely sure.
All he knew that if she was here, if he was here, then his mother could be here as well. And what if Simba was too? How could he kill the father of the woman he had feelings for? All that inner conflict had returned and part of him wished that the curse hadn't been broken . . . so that he wouldn't have to deal with such emotions and troubling thoughts. But at the same time, he could not deny his desire to see his family, one member in particular.
It was as if fate heard his silent calling. As he went on his path, he saw a woman trapped in a net and a man standing near it. Now Kovu wasn't exactly the heroic type unless it served an ulterior motive, but it was who was in the net that immediately captured his interest. It . . . was Vitani. His dear sister. He had been looking for her, more than anyone else, and seeing her trapped by this man . . . well, this hunter was going to regret it. He felt the anger within him, his fierce protectiveness over those he cared about starting to kick into high gear.
"Let her go," he stated in a stern voice, leaving no room for debate or argument. The man turned around to see him standing there. The man just sneered dismissively. "I saw her first." That was enough to set off the already shortening fuse. Kovu was not going to ask again. Had he been in his lion form, he would have ripped the man's head off by now. Instead, he had to rely on his more human characteristics and capabilities. He lunged at the man, tackling him to the ground as his knees went on either side of him, pinning him to the ground.
His hands formed into fists, as he punched him across the face. Once. Twice. Three times. Four. Give. An uncaged rage suddenly releasing itself onto him. When the man was just barley conscious, Kovu decided that was enough. Had he not had feelings for Kiara, had she not tapped into his softer side . . . Kovu would have most certainly killed the man. He took the switchblade from the man, and then turned his attentions away from the dirtbag and looked up at his trapped sister.
"Vitani," he stated, still unable to believe that he had found her. His lips then curved into a small smile as he continued to stare at her. It was so odd to see her in human form . . . almost as odd was it was to see himself in it. "How's it hanging?" He asked teasingly, making -- what he thought to be -- a rather clever pun. He pulled out the blade and began to cut through the rope, keeping himself prepared to break her fall so that she would not go tumbling onto the ground.

Honestly, she had no idea what was going to happen with this creep. He had a look in his eyes though that made her want to claw them out faster than he could get his hands on her, though. She watched him carefully as he got closer to the net, and suddenly she heard a voice.. A voice she knew oh, so very well. Her eyes went to the person speaking, and she felt the breath catch in her chest. "Kovu," She spoke with a trembling voice, filled with emotion.
It happened fast. Kovu was on the man in an instant, beating him to a bloody pulp. She would have stopped him..but she knew he'd do the right thing. Whatever he felt that was. She clutched the net with her fingers, and situated herself on to her knees as she watched the scene unfold before her. Once Kovu was finished with the man who captured her, she gave him a small grin. How's it hanging He had asked her. "Hardy harr harr.." she bit down on her lip, suddenly feeling a stinging sensation behind her eyes that she quickly pushed away. This wasn't a time for tears. "Don't worry. I always land on my feet." She gave him a wink.
She couldn't believe it. The one person in the world who she truly cared about with all of her heart was there! Out of nowhere. It must have been fate. "Kovu.. I've been looking for you for so long! You look so.. different.."

TAG | He could hear the emotion in her voice and while he wasn't an overly sentimental person . . . it was different with her. His relationship with her was drastically different from that of his mother or half brother. Whatever maternal warmth he lacked from Zira, Vitani made up for it with her ability to console him and allow him to feel emotionally safe with her. He of course loved his family, but he was also coming to disagree with his mother's methods. He flashed a smile at her sarcastic laughter, teasingly replying by saying that she always landed on her feet. "Well this time, you only got two to work with," he said with the continued tease. It wasn't like being on all fours at all. But walking had been a rather natural ability, since they held no recollection of their past before the curse was broken. He finally cut the rope, quickly extending his arms so that he could ensure she didn't completely fall. But he knew full well that Vitani was a strong, capable lioness woman. "So do you," he said in a low voice, taking in the human sight of her. She was beautiful indeed, but then again, she was beautiful as a lion as well. This was just a different sort of beauty he supposed. "I'm so glad I found you," he said, unable to tease or mock her in this long awaited reunion. "What about the others?" Zira? Nuka? . . . Simba? He was fairly certain Kiara would be looking for her mother and father, and if they were here, then things would indeed get far more complicated.

Kovu had a point.. she only had two legs now. How inconvenient. Oh well..she was getting used to it at least, for the most part. When the ropes fell and she was free, she landed - mostly - perfectly fine. She had to grab his arms to stabilize herself at least a little. Yes, she was indeed capable, but she was still a little wobbly from being on two legs. It was still..weird. "I'm glad you found me too, Kovu,"
He looked just as she thought he would if he were a human. Not that it was something she thought of in the Outlands.. one didn't normally consider one's self as a different species and how they would look. But still.. at first sight, she would have never been able to mistake her half brother. When he had asked about their mother and their brother, she became quiet and shook her head. "No.. I haven't seen them anywhere. I would be worried that they're missing.. but to be completely honest, i'm more worried about everyone else. With Nuka and mother on the loose, who knows what's happening."
She quirked a brow, and lifted her hand to his hair, scruffing it up a bit. "Nice mohawk.." She said with a small grin. "So what do you go by here? What's your..bipedal curse name?"

TAG | He gave a bit of a soft smile when she said that she was glad to have found him too. Such softness was only reserved for two people: his sister, and Kiara. To no one else would he show a gentler side to him. How could he when he was raised a warrior, expected to over throw a king and take his place ruling the land through such brutality. He knew he shouldn't feel relieved when Vitani told him that she hadn't seen their remaining family members . . . but they did indeed have reason to worry about their missing status. "I know," he agreed quietly.
"With any lucky, they didn't make it here. But, I don't think that's likely." Because he, Vitani, and Kiara were all here. More than likely, so was the rest of their families. "We'll have to be vigilant, keep a close watch for them." Their mother would be looking for them no doubt, but he doubted it was through any maternal care or love for them. It was more about the strategic pawn he was to her; a means to a throne. Though, he obviously couldn't admit that to Zira. He feared he would always be submissive in her presence . . . despite his love for who should have otherwise been their enemy. Fortunately, she changed the subject to something lighter -- referring to his mane, or well, hair he supposed, and scruffed it up a little. "Hey now! Watch it," he said, playfully jerking his head away though there was a smile on his lips.
He decided to return the tease. He picked up a chunk of her long dark hair in his hand. "Nice . . . whatever this is," he said teasingly, as he lightly whipped the hair across her face, smirking at the action. She then inquired to his name; his human name. "Khalfani," he answered. Khal for short by most, but he of course preferred her to call him Kovu because to her, that was who he truly was. "Apparently it means, destine to rule," he said in a low voice, the implications of the words a heavy burden that weighed on his shoulders. "What about you, what's your name here?" Though he already felt more inclined to call her Vitani for that was who she was; his dear sister, Vitani.

Vitani had to admit that she felt slightly guilty for it, but she wasn't missing her mother and Nuka as much as she should have been. But then, the freedom that Vitani had from her mother, and the pressure she had once felt when she was under her thumb being released was quite nice. She was getting kind of used to being her own person and making her own choices. Especially when it came to Kovu. "I somehow don't think that they're gone for good, Kovu. You're right..we need to stay on our toes." They would likely be expecting Kovu to kill Simba now that his memories had returned.
The subject had changed to the physical appearance that the two now had. He was being all territorial about his mohawk.. how cute! She laughed when he lifted her hair and tossed it in to her face, and she shook her head, letting it fall back down to her shoulders. "I've grown to like it. Looks like i'm the one with the pretty dark mane this time." She winked playfully. When he told her his name, she nodded as though to say she approved. "It suits you. Mine is Kamaria... but to you, brother," she grinned. "It's always Vitani. Just like to me, you're Kovu."

TAG | He fell into a pensive silence for a moment when she spoke of how she felt that Zira and Nuka weren't gone for good. It was a shared feeling. "I know," he admitted in a low voice. "But maybe, this time, it can be different." Because they were not in the Outlands. There was no king to overthrow, not here in this town. The same kind of heirarchy did not exist.
Then again, Zira could want Simba dead just out of pure spiteful bitterness or revenge, but Kovu was far more reluctant to be part of her ploys. "Maybe this is a chance for a fresh start." A new life. Hell, he and Kiara had already apparently built one, that is until the curse broke. He wasn't entirely sure where they stood right now. He only knew that he loved her and now that he was reunited with his sister as well . . . well, he was fortunate to have the two people he loved most in the world so near him.
He gave a slight chuckle when she spoke of how she was now the one with a mane. "I know you were always jealous of mine," he said teasingly. "It's no wonder you let yours grow so long, trying to compete with me I see." His relationship with his sister was one he valued most out of anyone in his family. Why? Because with her, he could truly be himself.
He could put himself at ease, not having to concern himself with meeting the standards or pressures thrust upon him like his mother did so often. Vitani understood him, more than ZIra and Nuka ever could. She stated that to her, he would always be Kovu and to him, she would always be Vitani.
"I feel the same way," he told her, with a smile. "Where are you staying?" He inquired, wondering if had a house, or an apartment . . . did she have a family here? Was she by herself? Did she have a job? There was so much he wanted to know, for he wanted to be caught up with every single aspect of her life not having seen her for apparently what was 28 years yet hardly felt that long at all.

Vitani didn't want to burst the bubble of optimism that Kovu was carrying, but she knew it wouldn't be right to let him have false hope. "We can hope for that, Kovu..but we should still keep on our toes. Simba may not be the king here, but there are royals who could fall pray to mother, should she find them. Regina, for instance. Or even Snow White and Prince Charming. They may not be from our kingdom, but they're still in power..and you know how much she hungers for it." She stared at Kovu for a long moment, before sighing, and shaking her head. "But still. She's not here now.. and we should enjoy the time we have together."
Deciding that talking about hair was a much more pleasant conversation, she merely rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. I wasn't jealous of anything... I was just clearly the prettiest and deserved gorgeous flowing locks." She teased, with a playful grin. "And as far as where i'm staying.. I have an apartment. It's not the greatest looking place, but I haven't quite tapped in to my inner interior decorator yet." She shrugged lightly. "I'll get it eventually, though." She assured him with a small nod. "I've been living on my own.. which is fine, I guess, cause i'm hardly ever home. I'm usually just trying to roam around to see if I can find anywhere that I feel comfortable. That's why i'm out here today. What about you? Living situation?"

TAG | Vitani spoke of how their mother wouldn't be able to resist targeting those in power, if only to claim it as her own. "She has no boundaries here either," he explained. In the sense that, she was not banished to the Outlands. She could sneak up on anyone at any time. "But on the other hand, this town isn't that big. If she's here, we'll find her. And it's best we do before anyone else does." With any luck, Nuka would also be with her if they had both come here from the curse. Nuka was a loose cannon. If Zira wasn't around to keep him in check, who knew what he would do to try and prove himself.
"I'm just happy that I found you. Free from the contraints of our mother." Always demanding that he fulfill what she claimed was his destiny. Avenge Scar; kill Simba; become king. Those had become less and less enticing ever since falling in love with Kiara. On to a happier note, she teased him about how she wasn't jealous of anything, but rather was the prettier one and deserved such a mane.
"Well that's a matter of opinion," he teased right back with a smirk. "I wonder what Nuka's hair will be like. He didn't quite have a mane, and he wasn't fully bald either." Making jokes at his brother's expense was not a rarity. But he didn't often do it in front of his brother, knowing it only added to their already tensse and strained frateneral relationship. He mostly just mocked him with Vitani. She explained her living conditions, and Kovu was glad to haer that she had her own place, even if it wasn't the best looking.
It would have been the same for him, had he not been living with Kiara . . . a truth that he would have to reveal when she asked him what his own living arranemgents were. "I'd love to see your place," he told her. He may even have to ask her to stay at it for a little bit, if Kiara did not want him back in their home until they got a better handle of what was going on.
"I'm no interior decorater, but it'll be nice to just, spend time with you." That was what he cared about most; keeping his sister close so that he knew she would be safe. With everything going on, he worried for her and Kiara. And didn't want to let either of them out of his sight. Especially since she said she was living on her own. He smirked at the reveal.
"You haven't managed to rope in a poor guy to be your mate?" He asked with a slight chuckle. He always wondered who Vitani would find a mate in, especically now since they were human and things worked quite differently. "Do you have a job here?" He further inquired, wanting to know more and more about her situation in Storybrooke. Unable to evade the subject forever, he decided to make his own reveal about his living arrangements. "I have a place. But I'm uh . . . I'm living with someone." Not jsut anyone. "Kiara," he revealed, thinking over the rather awkward awakening they had when their memories returned. "It's . . . complicated." And that was putting it lightly.

Vitani was sure that it was making Kovu just as on edge and uncomfortable as it was making herself to talk about the rest of their family. It was a subject that couldn't be avoided, but still.. speaking of them made Vitani feel.. odd. For the longest time, she was right there with her mother, fighting for the cause of avenging Scar. But then, she realized that the tactics her mother had been asking for were extreme. Sure, they were banished to the Outlands, but wasn't that a favor? It toughened them up. It made Vitani and Kovu who they were today. Unfortunately, it made Nuka crazy. "Let's just hope that it's just you and me for awhile. I don't even want to think of the insanity that's going to happen when, or if we find mother and Nuka."
Speaking of Nuka, her mind suddenly went to what he would look like as a human, and she began to laugh. "I bet he has patches of hair everywhere. Looking like he's a human who has the mange." She teased, cooing with laughter. Ah, Nuka shaming. It was one of Vitani's favorite past times. However, she was sure that wherever Nuka was - should he have come to this land as well - he'd be noticeable, looking strong, yet crazed. It would be hard to miss.
The topic came up about her apartment...the apartment that wasn't very much to look at. She really did need to do something with it, but living indoors was so..strange and unusual now that she remembered who she was. "I'd like that. You definitely should come over and hang out with me some time. Binge on Netflix with me." Ah, Netflix. Something that Kamaira had enjoyed before remembering that she was Vitani. It just kind of stuck after that.
He then asked about a mate, or a job. Both of which, Vitani was lacking. "Nope..neither. I figure I have to get a job somewhere eventually.. but there's a bar that i'm looking to get in to tending or waitressing at or something. It's run by a pirate named Hook." And as far as the mate bit went.. "I might find a mate one day.. but so far, the right guy hasn't come along for me to want to sink my claws in to. ..so to speak." She teased with a small grin. Now it was his turn to answer her questions about where he was living.. he was living with someone?! It must have been before the curse...right? But then, he said the name that made Vitani's jaw drop. "Kiara? As in.. Simba's little Prideland Princess Kiara?" She blinked a couple of times, and then cleared her throat. "Well..that's awkward. How's that going..?"

TAG | That was true. The amount of chaos that their mother and brother . . . ok, mostly their mother could ensue in Storybrooke was vast. With all these villains kicking around, well, Kovu knew he would have to be on high alert. He didn't want to be affiliated with any of them, but nor did he want anything to happen to those he loved. They were his priority; protecting them was his mission . . . one that he was placing far more importance on than his mission of killing Simba.
"True," he said in a pensive voice. "So let's just enjoy some time together and not try to think too much about the others." Because, he wanted to focus on being reunited with Vitani, rather than where Zira and his deranged brother was. Her laughter at envisioning Nuka prompted his own amused smirk at the thought, chuckling when she suggested him having patches of hair everywhere.
"I wonder if he still has as many fleas," Kovu said contining to chuckle as he thought of his brother always brushing up against the tree bark to itch his back. He was such a flea bag -- literally! Vitani expressed her approval of having him over, suggesting binge watching Netflix. The amount of time they'd spent in this town allowed them to be familiar with all these strange things, so he knew exactly what she was talking about. "Sounds pretty good to me. As long as you don't make me watch any chick flicks." Vitani didn't seem like the kind who would force him to, but he just wanted to make that clear.
She went on to answer his question, saying that she was looking into working at a bar owned by Hook. Kovu had heard the name before; after all, when a pirate came sailing in on a ship with one of the most notorious villains . . . well, people tended to know who he was. "Just be careful," he told her. "And don't forget to use all the great defense moves I taught you if need be," he said with a smirk of arrogance, purposely emphasizing his words of how he taught her, though he knew that his mother had trained both of them.
He felt relieved when she sai dthat she hadn't found her mate, yet at the same time, wanted happiness for her too. He only felt relieved that he hadn't missed it. "Good. Means I can check him out, make sure he's good enough for you," he said with a mischevious smile. He was not going to make it easy for anyone who tried to be with his sister. And was glad that he didn't miss the chance to put the fear of his wrath into the guy.
Vitani's reaction to Kiara was to be expected. He let the news sink in, and she then commented on how it sounded awkward . . . and how it was going. "It's . . . awkward," he said, purposely using the same word she had for it seemed to sum up the situation pretty well. He paused for a few moments before continuing. "You know, we were . . . happy, before we got our memories back." Happy, in the sense that they were together. "I guess it shows that it's possible? Or maybe it was just a dream, and this is reality." Unable to forget their past, of how he had initially used her to get to her father.
He loved her, with all his heart and he knew she loved him too . . . which made everything so much harder. "But anyway, we're figuring things out I guess." Pausing for another moment, he knew he had to ask Vitani this next question. He trusted her completley, for he wouldn't have asked anyone else. "You haven't seen Simba around, have you?" He didn't want to know so that he could kill him; he wanted to know for Kiara's sake. Now that he had found some of his family, he wanted the same for Kiara -- even if it would make it harder for them to be together. He loved her enough to want that for her.

It almost felt like old times, only without the pressures that were involved in the Outlands. Vitani and Kovu always had a close relationship, and it was nice to revisit that now that they were here in Stroybrooke. Joking, teasing Nuka, it was all part of their daily routine when they were still in the outlands. "More than likely! I think there were too many fleas to ever get rid of." Sure, they were trying to concentrate on lives without the rest of their insane family, but Nuka bashing was far too fun to not do.. at least a little. No harm in that.
"Ew! Chick flicks? Gross, Kovu. Who do you think you're talking to? I don't watch that junk. I like stuff with shooting and cars blowing up and..." She studied his face, and she could tell that he knew she was lying through her teeth. "Fine! Fine. I.. sometimes..watch mushy gushy chick flicks.. And eat ice cream.." She huffed. "But I really do like watching things blow up! I was telling the truth about that!" She was never -ever- girly until Kamaria happened. Kamaria was pretty girly, and it was definitely a switch from Vitani's tom-boyish attitude. "It's weird..and different being a human. Anyway, I promise. No chick flicks." Unless it was a really good one that he needed to see.
Vitani wasn't worried about working at the bar.. but still, she entertained the idea that the self defense skills that Kovu had taught her would come in handy. "Of course. Don't worry.. I'll be safe. I'm always safe. Well.. you know..except for that trap thing. That was a fluke."
The topic of Vitani having a mate was also a strange one. It wasn't that she didn't want one..but she never really went looking. She always figured that when it happened, it would happen on it's own. Much like what had happened with Kovu and Kiara, apparently. "Yes, Kovu.." she mused with a small laugh. "You'll have your chance - should I ever find a mate - to grill him. I would say the same about Kiara, but I think you two are going to have your hands full with her parents finding out anyway." Were they here too? Kovu's next question answered that. "No..I haven't seen anyone from home yet aside from you. I was actually going to ask you the same thing."

TAG | He chuckled as she spoke of how Nuka had too many fleas to be able to get rid of them. That was indeed true. Only it was less acceptable for him to have fleas as a human than as a lion. "If he's here, I really wonder how he's getting along," Kovu thought aloud, more amused by the thought than anything else. She then expressed great disgust for chick flicks, claiming that she didn't like watching that stuff and going on about what she did prefer watching. Kovu raised an eyebrow in disbelief, folding his arms across his chest. She seemed to pick up on his reaction for her sentence trailed off and she admitted to enjoying them once in a while.
"I knew it!" He stated accusingly, as if she was confessig to some sort of crime. She told him she was different being a human, and that she promised no chick flicks. "It's the mane," he told her teasingly. "Before the curse, it made me look masculine," he said with boastful arrogance. "Here, it makes you into such a . . . girl," he siad teasingly, obviously just poking fun at her. She had always been a bit of a tomboy, but then, being raised with two brothers and a mother like Zira . . . one could hardly blame her.
"But still, I would much prefer a movie about blowing things up for sure." Because he was still a male, be it lion or man, he had his male tendencies. She assured him she would be safe and he of course believed her . . . though she did mention this one little slip up. "I bet," he said a bit mockingly. "What would you ever do without me, dear sister," he said in further teasing.
"I feel like I gotta follow you around to make sure you don't get yourself in trouble." He enjoyed making fun of her in this playful manner, for he was fully aware that she could more than handle herself. But he would be failing in his duty as a brother if he didn't tease her often. She told him that he would have his chance to grill her future mate, which he would be taking full advantage of . . . and then stated how he and Kiara would have enough problems once their families found out. "Yeah," he admitted, thinking of all that would likely explode once the truth was revealed to them all. "I'll pass on any over protective sister speech you might have otherwise had in mind," he said with a smile, though he wasn't quite joking.
"Besides, I think you two would get along . . . if you give her a chance." Kiara was very accepting of people, but Zira had practically brainwashed them into seeing Simba and the others as the enemy. Perhaps, if Vitani got to know Kiara, things could be differnet. Though, Vitani didn't seem overly disapproving of his relationship with Kiara which was something he was quite grateful for.
They could have a fresh start here and this could be a good way to kick things off. She said that she hadn't seen anyone here besides him, and was actually thinking of asking him the same. "I guess that's both good and bad," he admitted. "Kiara is looking for her family. I just wanted to see if I could help her out in that." Even if it meant they couldn't be together so easily once Simba or Nala came into the picture. He wanted the woman he loved to be with her family, because he knew it meant a great deal to her.

Messing around with siblings and teasing them was something that was a natural, normal right. Even so, Vitani, Kovu, and Nuka tended to do it even moreso than normal - or at least Vitani thought so. It was all in good fun. She did care about Nuka.. he was her blood.. but he was so much like their mother.. He was less fun to poke fun at than Kovu, for sure. It was good to know though, that even in this new world, their relationship hadn't changed.
In fact, he was starting to pick on her now for being a...a..girl! "It does not!" She scoffed. "I... I..." she started to stammer, not really sure how to get out of this one. "I may be a little more feminine here, but I can still kick your ass, Kovu!" If she was still a lioness, this was where she'd playfully roar, and then tackle Kovu in to the dirt. "But I'll be nice, and spare you this time since you were sweet enough to cut me out of that net and save me from that hunter." She placed her hands on her hips and lifted her chin in pride as though she were really doing Kovu a favor. Of course it was all in fun..but she'd still act as though she were the dominant one out of the two. "And you don't have to follow me around.. we have cell phones here now." She teased with a wink.
He seemed to appreciate the fact that she wasn't going to go all over protective sister on Kiara, and he told her that she would probably like Kiara if she'd give her the chance. Kiara was silent for a moment.. thinking to herself. "Kovu," she started to speak, looking directly in to his eyes so that he could gauge that she was being truthful. "We're not segregated from being in the Pridelands and the Outlands anymore. We are all One here. We're not outcasts anymore.. And Prideland Princess is just a girl now." She gave a light shrug. "I'd be willing to get to know her here.. it's a fresh start. That means for you too.."
Simba and Nala were still not found..and she felt bad for Kiara. At least Vitani now had part of her family. The part that mattered the most. "Maybe things don't have to be awkward. Even if mother shows up out of nowhere, she can't make you kill Simba. You're not that person anymore.. there is no King. There are no Pridelands.. You and Kiara can be happy. Take comfort in knowing that, brother." She reached out and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, offering him a warm smile.
