------------------------------------------------------- Everything seemed so peaceful, the night seemed to come quickly and Amara asleep in her lovers arms. Her life was good even though she often felt something missing within her. She pushed on in life though, doing what was needed of her and what she enjoyed. Living life to the fullest. Things seemed good, a light breeze came in through their window no noise came in other then the light whistling the wind carried and the light breathing of those in the bed. It was soothing just as every night was. She felt if only she could figure out what was missing everything would be so much better but she was content with what she knew. Her hand placed on her loves chest his skin heating her like a mini heater.
Though something happened close to daylight and it made Amara stir. As if something heavy came off her chest. When memories came flooding back and with a small gasp Amara shot up gripping the blanket to her chest as it heaved heavily with each breath. Looking around almost confused her eyes fell upon the man in her bed, and a gasp escaped her lips. "Oh no, no, no!" She breathed. Pulling her legs up she jumped off her bed with the blanket her mind was running a million miles while she panicked "Get up! Get dressed!" Amara shouted as she grabbed her pillow and threw it at him, looking away. It was taking everything she had not to scream, she was already shouting but she wanted to go much louder.
Amara took a step back and her legs wobbled, despite having been on two legs for so long the memories of being on all fours where far more vivid and being on two legs was now foreign. "Where is my father, and mother..." Amara whispered still shocked that she was in bed with an Out Lander, someone her father had told her time and time again were their enemies that they were different from them. Though she never understood why. When she looked at them she did not see what he saw. Amara was one to often break the rules but she slightly felt this may have been to far... It wasn't her fault though, and before being pulled to this land there was so much happening, so much hate, and anger. What was to happen now that they were in bed together... Oh this could be very bad! ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Khalfani Vegter (Kovu) Time: After The Curse Is Broken Notes: *Dances* -------------------------------------------------------

TAG | Khalfani was in a rather deep sleep. He felt completely comfortable, completely at ease. He had fallen asleep holding the woman that he loves . . . but was suddenly abruptly awaken by an massive shift in dynamic. He could feel her suddenly leap off the bed and verbally urge him to wake up. Not to mention the sudden lack of sheets that exposed his lower region -- which also indicated what they had been up to last night. Not that he had forgotten.
Quite the opposite in fact. He remembered . . . everything. He remembered his sister, his mother, his brother. He remembered Scar and Simba. And most of all, he remembered Kiara. And all the conflict that had stirred in him when he had fallen for her . . . having been forced into a decision of choosing between the love for his family, or the love he had for her.
But for the time being, he had to conceal all that. Which wasn't too hard for he was distracted by the current situation . . . of them, being here, like this. Under the same roof. In the same bed. He took the pillow to cover his lower half as he heard her question where her parents were. "Wait, they're not here?!" He asked sarcastically, turning his head and checking the bed, pretending to look around for them.
He knew he shouldn't be sarcastic right now but it felt like the only possible way to cope with what was happening: teasing sarcastic remarks. Her back was turned to him and he went to reach for his pants . . . not that he felt the need to hide from her. "It's nothing that you haven't already seen," he told her, scrambling from the bed, pulling on his pants. Whether it be in human form, or when they were in their lion form, she'd seen him . . . all of him.
Truth be told, he was numb. Numb from all the thoughts and emotions that came flooding back into him. Numb from the shock of realizing he was a human, rather than a lion. The only way he could deal with thus numbness, was whatever misplaced humor he found in this situation. But he wouldn't be laughing for long. Once his pants were securely on he turned to look at her.
"Kiara . . . " He began to say, unsure where he was even going with that. Perhaps it was a question to make sure it was really her. Perhaps it was acknowledgment to assure himself that she was here. Perhaps he just wanted to say her name, to bask in the sound of it after not having said it in so long. There could be a variety of reasons he had said her name . . . but either way, he had said it, as his eyes fixated on her, unsure what to do next. Trying to determine just how complicated things had gotten between them.

------------------------------------------------------- Amara frowned at his sarcasticness. Grabbing the nearest object she threw it at him not even sure what it was or how hard it may have been but his remarks were not helping the situation... Everything they had been doing was not helpful. They were in bed together she had given him something meant for her soul mate and right now they were still suppose to be enemies. She had fallen for him yes but there was still so much to figure out between their families before they could truly be together, be happy. She just hoped this wouldn't ruin anything. She couldn't bare the thought of losing her family or Kovu. They meant way to much to her. And frankly she was a bit terrified. Yes she usually had this wild and free spirit and often got into trouble but this was far into the not going back she may have just dug them a grave for what had happened. "You are not helpful!" She spoke as she placed her hand to her head and sighed.
"It's okay, everything will be okay. No one has to know." She nodded as she made her way back to the bed looking over at Kovu. He spoke about her having seen it all before and she couldn't help but laugh a bit. It was very true, they had already seen it all but it was still weird now with their memories back. Taking in a deep breath she looked over at him as he spoke her name, her true name. "Yes... Kovu." His name came out almost like a whisper as her heart began to race. Even in this form he was beautiful to her. There was no difference between them and one day her father and his mother would see it. Standing back up she moved over towards the bathroom. "I'm gonna shower, alone." She felt she needed to make that part clear not wanting him to follow her in even if it did sound good. She had to be careful despite her wants.
Walking into the bathroom she let the sheet fall right before she jumped in and shut the door quickly behind her. Everything seemed to be going crazy, her senses felt out of whack and her memories shooting back to her gave her a headache. Turning on the water the steam began to fill the room and it was almost relaxing. Once it was at the right temperature she stepped in and the hot water washed over her. Amara wanted to stay in there forever to hide but she was not a coward and would never hide. She pushed back everything and accepted the challenge. She knew in her heart that together they would get through anything. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Khalfani Vegter (Kovu) Time: After The Curse Is Broken Notes: *Dances* -------------------------------------------------------

TAG | She told him he wasn't being helpful and . . . well, he knew that on some level, he wasn't. Ok, she was right; he wasn't being helpful at all. But he wasn't exactly going to admit that to her. His mind was reeling over everything, trying to make sense of it all as so many questions and thoughts raced through him. Mostly ones concerning his mother. Was she here? What about Nuka? What about . . . Vitani.
He knew who he needed to find first and that was his sister. The fact that Kiara was the first he had seen, gave him unimaginable relief, for at least he knew that she was ok. Well, all things considered. She looked tense, saying that no one had to know. He also agreed with that to some extent, for his mother could never find out about this. About them. "We need to find out if someone does know about us. We could have unknowingly told them." He'd had no memories of his family . . . what if he they knew his family, or hers, without even having realized it? Her statement of going to shower suddenly distracted all other thoughts, his ears practically perking up at it . . . but then she said that she was going alone. That was disappointing.
He knew he should be taking this opportunity to gather his thoughts and try to figure out what to do next. Yet the male in him -- and now human man apparently -- desired something very different. He watched her as she made her way to the bathroom. "What ever happened to conserving of water?!" [By showering together of course] He called after her right before she shut the door. But he had a strong feeling they wouldn't be doing any of that, any time soon. It may be for the best. But he couldn't deny or ignore how wonderful it felt to be with her. The fact that they had been able to form a relationship even when having no memories of their past encounters . . . well, it showed that they had the capability to be normal. For he knew in his heart that he loved her. But damn; their lives just got a hell of a lot more complicated.
He moved to select a shirt, pulling it on over him as he used the remainder of the time -- while waiting for access to the bathroom -- to poke around their room, trying to see what he could find. He found her things, and his things, together. They were living together, something he had not forgotten but also . . . it could be something that may not last now that their memories were restored. He felt frustrated with the conflicting thoughts of living in blissful ignorance and happily in love, compared to now knowing that he had family out there -- even if it was only one family member in particular he wanted to see. He looked at their dresser, eying the various items on it. They were so . . . domestic with their belongings mixed together. One of the most pressing question posed on his mind was . . . what happens now?

------------------------------------------------------- Ignoring as he spoke out to her she shook her head as she let the water run over her. Sighing as her mind fell into a deep thought. Her heart tugged at her. The feelings she had for Kovu but coming out to her family and his family about that was difficult they hated one another and she felt at the right time they could and it would pull their families together. Though she really doubted from what she knew that his mother would not accept it... With a soft smile her mind just started to trail off on the time her and Kovu had without their true memories. Living in bliss so happy. Could their life really be like that again? Amara wanted it to be like that again she wanted to be able to rest in his arms peacefully. Listen to the soothing sound of his heart beat and feel the heat of his skin. Resting against the shower wall Kiara put a hand to her chest the smile on her lips only grew.
Shaking it off she rinsed quickly and shut the water off. They needed to figure out who knew but who said they couldn't keep what they had going. Kiara was willing to play the game of secrets. She only wanted happiness for everyone and in order for that happen she needed to find her happiness first. Show the world that they could be together, that they were no different from one another. Wrapping a towel around her body she stopped at the door listening carefully. Her hearing was not as good as when she was a lion but it was still better then a normal human so she could hear the noises he was making from the other side. Shifting through things. Was she possibly wrong to think they could have a happy ending, would this curse bring despair to them?
Walking out in her towel since she had forgotten to grab clothes as she had rushed to hide from Kovu in the first place. But now that she had calmed down, she wasn't so sure she wanted to hide from him, just... Everyone else... "Ko... Kovu." She spoke slightly nervous. "Don't look at me!" It just came out but she wasn't fully sure she truly meant it. Maybe she wanted him to look. They really had already seen one another fully the only difference was this time they had their memories back. With that she felt as if she wanted to do it all over again with him like her memories of their fake life wasn't good enough. She wanted to experience it all again first hand. To enjoy that bliss before they had to face reality.
"What if..." She started taking in a deep breath "What would you say about having just one more day of what we had before we search for our families?" She had to ask if he called her crazy then she knew she was grasping at straws but maybe she was not as crazy as she felt for asking. Surely it was not so wrong to be just a bit selfish just a bit... She bit her lip a little waiting... Anticipating what he would say. She was hoping for the best but preparing for the worse. If he declined then their next move would to be to figure out what they were going to do from there. Kiara just wanted to postpone it even if it was just a couple of minutes or hours. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Khalfani Vegter (Kovu) Time: After The Curse Is Broken Notes: *Dances* -------------------------------------------------------

TAG | He heard her say his name and then tell him not to look. Like a child, when someone told Kovu not to do something, he felt all the more compelled to do it. So with that, he couldn't help but look at her. And . . . well, he knew he was staring. His eyes looked over her, obviously very aware of the fact that she had nothing under that towel, and she was still wet from her shower and well . . . lion or man, she was always so positively beautiful that he couldn't help but feel desire for her. He knew that he was just staring, any ability to speak escaping him. There were not complications between them that was for sure, but every time he looked at her, she became the center of his universe.
She became his everything. All thoughts of his mother, brother, step father, mission, Simba . . . everything and everyone fled his mind, except for her. He managed to snap out of whatever trance she always placed him in when she began to ask him something. What if . . . they spent the day together, just being who they were. Just being happily together, instead of embracing the complications that came with their restored memories. This was the definition of a no brainer. He didn't even need to consider her question because he wanted nothing more than to be with her. To just pretend that nothing else, and no one else mattered. That it was just the two of them. Still aware of the fact that he had not spoken, he walked up to her until he was standing directly in front of her. A smile formed on his lips as his index finger and thumb cupped her chin.
"I couldn't think of anything I would want more than that," he told her. He knew what his words implied. He didn't want to fulfill this mission of killing Simba. He didn't want to be his mother's pawn. The only family he even cared about finding was Vitani. With those words, he titled her head up and lowered his own, closing the distance between them as his lips found hers. He let his emotions pour into the kiss, deepening it as he felt his heart race with everything she made him feel. The all encompassing word for this: love. She filled him with love. Continuing to kiss her passionately, he hoped it was enough of a distraction for his hand moved to where her towel was tucked in to keep it secured around her, and pulled it open, causing it to fall to the ground. He couldn't help but smile through the kiss, rather proud of his mischievous little act.

------------------------------------------------------- Her heart was pounding as she waited for him to answer. All he did was stare for the longest time and it made her shift nervously though she couldn't say she didn't enjoy the way he looked at her. It was that of love and possibly a little bit of lust. She really did love him and it was strong since they were always being put to the test. Something they were not suppose to feel for one another but did anyways. A forbidden love. Perhaps that was why it was so exciting. When he came up to her and lifted her chin speaking about how he couldn't imagine anything better and a grin danced on her lips even as he pushed his lips against her own letting the passion flow between them. It just felt so right to be with him even if their parents told them how wrong it was. That they were to be enemies.
He then reached up and released her towel from her body, instantly she raised her arms to protect herself. Goosebumps grew over her body from the cool air hitting her still damp skin. Trembling lightly her heart began to beat even faster and she thought it just might break through her breast plate and hit the floor. She felt his smile against her lips from his tricky little move. They have done this before but this time was so different, their memories back and it made everything feel brand new. In the back of her mind though she felt her fathers scorn upon her actions oh the trouble this would cause but to her... It was all worth it. She had to follow her heart and it led her straight to him many times over.
Amara had her arms up still around her but she leaned in closer to him. She was terrified not of the repercussions of their actions but of putting them into action, something that was suppose to be so wrong felt so right and frankly she was scared not that she would admit it. She had found him again even though she hadn't truly lost him this time they were together without knowing they were till now. But to her it was like finding him, she would always find him. With her arms up guarding her she turned her hand and placed it on his chest feeling his heart beat. Having hands was certainly different but she was enjoying this new experience. All of these new experiences. Including this false one of pretending everything was okay while they just spent time together like nothing had changed. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Khalfani Vegter (Kovu) Time: After The Curse Is Broken Notes: Sorry, I feel like this was not a great post XD -------------------------------------------------------

TAG | She returned the kiss and it all felt so . . . new. Even though they clearly had done more than simply kiss, to be able to share such an intimate moment, knowing that they had many obstacles in their way, well, it felt more powerful than ever before. He had fallen in love with her when he was suppoed to use her to get to her father and kill him. But that sinister plan was currently tossed out the window.
Kiara had opened his heart up to all sorts of emotions he had never experienced before. He'd been raised a solider, a warrior, but she had made him feel like a lion . . . or well, in this case, a human. With a beating heart. Someone who was very much alive. Her hand on his chest just strengthened such emotions. He slowly pulled himself from the kiss, unable to fully understand how someone could be so beautiful.
She had such a strong outer and inner beauty that he found positively mesmerizing. Despite whatever desires he had for her, and what he wanted to physically explore with her with their memories now in tact . . . he didn't want to pressure her or make her feel uncomfortable. His hand went ot her now bare back as he gently caressed her skin. It was so soft and different from her briliant coat of fur she once possessed, but that in no way was a bad thing.
"I guess I should get you breakfast," he said in a bit of a teasing voice. Though he made no action to move. It may be downright impossible to move from this seemingly perfect position. He leaned forward, kissing her lips lightly before moving them to her cheek, grazing them as he made his way to her ear where he whispered directly into it. "Are you hungry?" His voice was filled with flirtatious suggestion, unable to resist.
