She used to be ruthless, cunning, and downright evil. She didn't care about anything except her own happiness.
However, now she has become kinder and more trusting in others. She is quite compassionate and hopes for true love.
Regina is also quite intelligent, and when needed, can be cunning and sly, especially when plotting revenge, or
trying to defeat one of her enemies. She is always determined, and will try her hardest to get what she wants.

Regina was born in the Enchanted Forest and lived with her mother and father until she was in her 20's. Whilst she lived in her parents' castle,
she was taught to ride by a stable boy around the same age as her, named Daniel. After a while the two fell in love, and had a secret relationship,
until Regina saved a young princess named Snow White from her horse that had run off with her. King Leopold asked to marry her for this,
and Regina's mother accepted it on her behalf. Daniel and Regina planned to run away together, but were stopped by Cora, after Snow had told
her about their plan. Cora killed Daniel and Regina was forced to marry the King, and move to his castle, to live with him and Snow. Leopold
was later murdered by a Genie that fell in love with Regina, and was manipulated into killing the King, in order to set Regina free. After his death, Regina
hired a Huntsman to kill Snow, so she could finally get revenge for Daniel's death, however, the Huntsman spared Snow's life, and Regina's plan failed.
For years Regina tried and failed to kill Snow, and over time, she accumulated the title of, The Evil Queen. Finally, Snow rallied her troops, and the two
had a war to decide who would rule the kingdom. In the end, Snow and her Prince won the battle, and Regina declared that she would have revenge.
She went to Rumplestiltskin, and he told her of a Dark Curse that could take them all to a land without magic, where she could have her happy ending.
At Snow and Charming's wedding, Regina made a threat to take away all their happy endings. Just under a year later, Regina succeeded in casting her curse,
and brought everyone to the town of Storybrooke, in the Land Without Magic (Our World).
During the duration of the curse, Regina adopted a baby boy, named Henry, who (unbeknown to Regina) was the son of the daughter of Snow and Charming.
After 28 years of living under the curse, Emma Swan, the daughter of Snow and Charming, came to Storybrooke, to spend time with her son.
She ends up breaking the curse and Regina is furious. She seeks revenge by teaming up with her mother to destroy the Charming family, and win henry back,
but eventually is forced to team up with the heroes to fight various other villains such as Peter Pan, Zelena (Her Half-Sister), Ingrid, and the Queens of Darkness.
