| A voice suddenly broke him out of his otherwise distracted state as he scrambled to hit feet and spun around to see a woman. He tried to act all nonchalant and attempted to move his hand over to lean against a tree, only to overestimate its close proximity, and caused him to stagger to the side, though fortunately, managed to catch his balance. So much for being suave. He settled for folding his arms across his chest and standing in an upright position. He looked at the unfamiliar woman, trying to think of what to say when getting caught doing something that he could only assume was socially awkward.
"Yes." Oh he shouldn't lie! "I mean, no," he quickly corrected. "I was just . . . " Just what?! "Trying something," he decided to go with. Not a blatant lie, but an ambiguous truth. "What are you um, doing here?" He asked casually, trying to change the subject from himself to her. It didn't help that she was quite pretty. Funny thing about attractiveness; as Pegasus, he never quite looked at women the same way he had as Sky. Though he of course knew that there was no point attempting to pursue any sort of relationship . . . he would eventually return to his winged horse form. But that didn't mean he wasn't occasionally flustered in the presence of a beautiful woman.

| Walking wasn't all it was cracked up to be. On ground, Sky's sense of direction was . . . well, less than stellar. But in the sky, now that was where he could navigate. How he missed it so much! Soaring through the clouds, the vastness of the clear blue sky, being so far up you can't even see the ground . . . he wished he had that. He wished he had his wings! He was meant to be in the clouds, not among the twigs and roots that he clumsily tended to trip over.
Perhaps if he had Hercules, things wouldn't feel as awkward. Granted, it wasn't as if he would be able to ride on his back . . . and the image of Sky giving Hercules a piggy back wasn't the most appealing. No. He wanted his wings back and to return to his former self. The only benefit of being in human form, was that he could talk. But that was only a small perk, for as the winged horse he was, most others understood him. Or well, those that mattered.
Sky tripped over another root jutting out from the ground, landing him face first. He remained on that position for some time, trying to calm his frustrations. Not only as he lost, but he could hardly walk properly! Things were so much better on all fours. Oh! That's it; all fours! He repositioned himself so that he was on his knees, his hands palm down on the ground, quite literally, now on all fours.
He made a bit of a face at this position . . . it didn't feel quite as satisfying as he had imagined it would. He didn't have his hooves, so the discomfort of the ground could be felt on the skin of his hands. Not to mention that he was shorted in this position, and as Pegasus, he had more height working for him. Nope. This just wouldn't do. Yet he remained on all fours, unaware of someone approaching him that could quite potentially catch him in this questionable position.

notes: proper plotter coming soon
| Meet Sky Zephyros aka Pegasus! He's an energetic, quirky, easily distracted fellow with a good sense of humor and restlessness over being on the ground for so long. He is looking for his closest friend Hercules, and in the meantime is coming to terms with who he is in Storybrooke -- and getting used to the idea that he's walking on two feet rather than four hooves.
I'm looking to get some plottage with him be it, acquaintances, enemies, friends, or something more! If you'd like to thread with him, feel free to reply to this thread or shoot me a PM! Looking forward to it!

.:Name:. Sky Zephyros .:Nick Name:. Pegasus, Zeph .:Affiliation:. Hero .:Status:. Royal
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. \In his natural pre-curse form, Pegasus is a magnificent white horse with white wings and a turquoise mane and tail. As Sky, he stands tall with a semi muscular build. His eyes are a bright blue and his skin a fair, light color. The unique quality of his mane passed on to the hair on his head, giving it a turquoise color. He sometimes dies it to a less noticeable color of brown, however it always grows back out to the vibrant turquoise. He dresses in casual clothes and void of his wings, makes him often feel restless with his feet grounded all the time. .:Height:. 6" .:Portrayed by:. Matt Lanter
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. Pegasus is described by Zeus as a "magnificent horse with the brain of a bird" and upon first glance, this may be easily assumed. Pegasus can be a bit quirky, often showing himself to be restless and unable to stand still. He has a habit of whistling which some may find annoying at times, despite his skill in it. He becomes easily distracted, not always being able to keep the flow of conversation onto a single topic. He is the kind of horse/person who can get distracted by shiny things. He is generally friendly and has a good sense of humor. Despite all this, he shows himself to be quite strong -- able to free himself from chains that bound him -- and he demonstrates incredible stamina, speed, insight and reflexes, able to react quickly to any given situation -- expected or not. He is fiercely loyal and highly protective of Hercules, which often results in his distaste towards those like Meg who he does not trust nor appreciate Hercules attentions upon. .:Strengths:. As a horse his ability to fly, incredible speed and stamina, heightened reflexes .:Weaknesses:. Inability to remain still for very long, presumed to be unintelligent, easily distracted
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. Mount Olympus .:Family:. None, he is the only of his kind .:Occupation:. Hercules' sidekick and wingman [get it, wingman?!] in Storybrooke, he works at the stables .:History:. Pegasus was created from the clouds by Zeus as a gift to his sole son, Hercules. He was meant to protect the boy and serve as a guardian over him. Unfortunately, when Hercules was taken from Olympus by Hades' henchmen, Pegasus was unable to protect him. He lived the next several years with the utmost guilt, inconsolable for failing in his duty to protect the son of Zeus. To his excitement, when Hercules made contact with his father, Pegasus was sent down to be with him. He saw this as another chance to fulfill his duty as a guardian for Hercules and would not make the same mistake twice. From this day forth, he and Hercules practically became best friends. He was extremely loyal and protective of him, supporting him in most all decisions -- mainly ones that did not involve Megara.
When the curse struck, Pegasus and Hercules were not meant to be in the Enchanted Forest. They had been trying to help a village that they heard was being ransacked by bandits, when, unbeknown to them, they were struck by a curse. Twenty eight years later, their true identities were revealed. Pegasus has no idea what became of Hercules, whether he too fell under the curse or if Zeus managed to protect him. Pegasus greatly misses his other form, often feeling restless constantly being on the ground. He is determined to find Hercules or at least his whereabouts, and ensure that his best friend is safe and sound.

notes: sample post! | Sky was currently staring at the ground, attempting not to step on a crack. He had far too much time on his hands and not enough outlets for his energy. He felt as if he was going to go insane! Being on the ground all this time was making him restless and anxious. The fact that he couldn't find his closest friend was also quite unsettling. Was he safe? Was he even alive? No! Sky could not think like that. Of course he was alive . . . he had to be. Surely Zeus would ensure that. Yet, at the same time, they had been in an entirely different realm; one that perhaps even the Gods would not have jurisdiction over since Sky was fairly certain that if they knew a curse was coming, they would have kept Hercules safe from it. And well, of course Pegasus too since they were a packaged deal.
The crowd up ahead immediately got his attention. There was a massive gathering where people were handing out missing posters and inquiring about their own loved ones status. Perhaps someone had seen Hercules, or better yet . . . maybe he was here! Pegasus knew that he would immediately recognize his friend and despite the fact that his former horse friend was now a human, he was fairly certain Hercules would recognize him from the hair. It was quite a distinguishable characteristic that had carried over from his previous form into his human one. He joined the rest of the crowd, his eyes scanning the group and getting increasingly disappointed when he couldn't find his friend. When he managed to get to the front of the line, he saw a woman with long dark hair looking at him with a friendly smile, yet it was clear that she was stressed from the large group.
"Have you seen Hercules?" He asked. "No, of course you haven't because you may not know what he looks like," Sky added, correcting himself at his foolish assumption. "He's about my height, orange brown hair thats past his ears, usually wears a band around his head . . . ?" It was evident that the woman had not seen him for surely she would have recognized Sky's description by now. She offered him a piece of paper and a pen to either write the name down or draw a picture. Sky was about to ask something else when he was pushed to the side by the growing crowd. He sauntered off to the side, staring at the blank piece of paper. He was not exactly an artist. "Well, here goes nothing . . . " And with that, he attempted to draw as accurate of a picture of Hercules as his artistic skills would allow him to do.
