A strange sensation coursed through his body. It felt different from when the pain of the poison overtook him, brought him to his knees and made him think there was no way he could ever survive that. How had he? Was he not supposed to die from that? He heard something, his brother calling out to him or just speaking? Killian was here, so there was no way this was the afterlife, because his brother was very, very alive. What else could it be? As he regained strength rapidly he noticed the way Killian held him, almost frantically fingers skipped over a spot on his neck as if trying to coax him to wake.
“That’s Captain to you.” He pressed out as he struggled to sit up. With Killians help that was relatively easy, though. As soon as he sat, his eyes fell to someone else: The boy they met earlier. What was he doing here? Had he helped Killian? Probably. He knew about the plant. He hadn’t lied to them he had warned them and Liam had been stupid enough not to listen. He should have listened to the resident. How would his king know better than a boy who lived here, damn it? How could he be so blind?

Template by Kuroya of THQ & GS | Peter watched the brother's soap opera unfold, standing in the side lines with folded arms and a hard look that betrayed no emotion on his face. The younger was holding the elder in a possessive yet gentle grip, yelling out his name repeatedly.
Family has never been a thing Peter liked, and he won't ever will. They're weak, and they drag you down. As they grow older, you do too and Peter despises growing up. He'd rather die.
Speaking of dying, the older brother suddenly gasped awake and spoke with a raspy voice. With the help of his Lieutenant, sat up to look at Pan. He thanked the Boy King, and Peter couldn't help the grin that formed on his face with the mention of being in-debt to Pan. Oh this'll be fun.
"Oh no, it's my pleasure helping you two. After all, why would I let someone die? Especially if it's going to leave your dear little brother all alone in this cruel world." If any of the two brothers were smart, they'd realized the undertone in that sentence was a taunt. If they weren't, well, maybe a little game wouldn't hurt.

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION The crippling fear of losing his brother had numbed the younger Jones sibling. He helplessly held his brother, praying for the boy's words to be true and that the water would surely save him; revive him. Killian could not lose his brother. The thought was unimaginable. For so long it had just been the two of them and he didn't know what he would be without Liam.
He held his breath, intently watching his Captain for any sign of life and soon enough, a wave of relief washed over him as his brother awoke with a retort. Killian closed his eyes, basking in this newly felt relief over seeing his brother was very much alive. "I'm glad to see you still have your wits about you," he teased. He hovered near his brother as he attempted to get up, eying the boy and Killian's gaze followed the Captain's.
There was something about the boy's words that were . . . unsettling. Something didn't feel right. It sounded, mocking almost. Or was Killian reading too much into this? He couldn't help his suspicions about the boy though . . . there was something almost, sinister about the way he spoke to them. And yet, he had indeed saved his brother's life. "Thank you," he told him, starting with those words and while Killian remained guarded, the gratitude was sincere.
"Surely a fate of solitude for me is not why you helped us," Killian said, ensuring his tone remained polite, but this conversation needed to happen. Quite honestly, Killian just wanted to take his brother back to the ship and get out of here. But . . . he first needed to know this boy's intentions. "What is it you want in return?" It was not only distrust that prompted the question, but also logic. Rationality. Hardly anyone did something for nothing . . . except for heroes. And the Lieutenant's gut was telling him that this boy was no hero.

Liam found himself confused at the boys words. Could it be that he genuinely wanted to help them? What boy would to that? None he knew. Boys were selfish, even he and Killian were at that age. It was for their survival. Unless he was very compassionate. Unless he thought they would give him something very valuable in return. Liam finally sat up properly, still feeling weak in his body. It was the way the boy said it was his pleasure that finally convinced him that there must be more to his motivations than just to help them. Maybe it was good old payment then.
“Killian is right, that is not why you helped us. What is it you want? We have gold.” Yet would gold help him here? It didn’t look like civilization has made it to this land; his clothes didn’t suggest it either. What could the boy want? Why was he on this island anyway. Maybe not by choice. “If you seek passage away from here, we will gladly provide it. Or whatever you desire, as long as we have it.” Their choices were still limited, but whatever Killian or him had to pay him, they would give him, he knew. Still, something made him think he would not at all like what the boy wanted from them. Liam leaned against his brother now, stronger, but still grateful to have his brothers support.
