It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Hook was waiting at the docks, standing outside his ship. It was the agreed upon location that he was to meet a young woman and provide her with safe passage far away from this kingdom. The captain had been handsomely paid to do so, also with the promise that the woman would remain untouched by his men. Truth be told, Hook would never force himself upon a woman but now, other people didn't know that did they. So it made perfect sense that the terms were laid out as such, and Killian had agreed to them. He wasn't sure what this woman looked like, or even the details of her situation.
He had just gotten the payment, and therefore would fulfill his end of the deal. At least he would be easily recognized if she knew who she was meeting . . . his hook tended to give away what his name was. Not to mention it helped strengthen his ego each time someone recognized him as the infamous Captain Hook. His eyes continued to look around the dark and mostly abandoned area.
There was another reason that he didn't have to overly worry about one recognizing the other . . . because it was a late hour and not many were out and about at this time. Truth be told, Killian was curious as to why it was so important to get this woman out of this kingdom, and he supposed the opportunity to ask would present itself since they had a long voyage ahead of them. Seeing movement in the darkness, his eyes remained on the figure as a young woman began to approach. "Either you are in search of a captain, or you are out way past your bedtime love," he said a bit teasingly, though he knew which was more likely.

There was a slight puff to Goldie’s eyes where she had spent countless hours crying over what was to become of her future. The Huntsman was out of her grasp and lost to her. There wasn’t a chance that she was going to get him back, they both knew that. Once he proved to be useless to the Evil Queen, she would discard of him like useless trash. She was mourning for a man that had yet to die, mourning for a love that had yet been able to amount to its’ full potential. There were so many tomorrow’s that had been stolen from them. He had convinced her however that there would be little to no sense in them both dying over this. Were she to die to, then the loving memories of him would disappear with her and that seemed to be a much harsher fate than the death itself. Goldie took in a deep breath, pulling the cloak down further over her face as she approached the dock.
Boarding a ship with a pirate was not something she looked forward to doing. But the Huntsman seemed to believe that he would be a man of his word and provide her safety. There wasn’t a soul she knew who didn’t know the name of Captain Hook, and the acts that came with it. He may have been foolish and reckless, but he was savvy. Goldie licked her lips nervously as the pirate spoke to her, jesting about a bedtime curfew. “Perhaps, pirate… You’re past your prime,” she said, reaching her hands up to lower the hood from her face so that she could free her hair from its’ captivity. She looked over him, her eyes pausing on the hook that proved dangerous to so many… Or so the legends would make it seem. Goldie tensed her shoulders, looking at Hook with a lift of her brow. “I heard the rumors that your vessel would be bigger,” she said, making an innuendo with dry tact in her voice. Goldie picked up the sides of her dress, deciding that it would have to do. Just because the Huntsman wanted it, didn’t mean she necessarily had to be happy about it. Perhaps Hook was a polite host. Perhaps he was even handsome, dashing..if she had a sword to her throat and had to admit it. It still didn’t change the fact that he was a pirate, and to him she knew that she was nothing more than cargo.

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION She told him that he may be past his prime, and then spoke about how she had believed his vessel to be bigger. He obviously didn't miss the innuendo there . . . usually he was the one making them. "Well perhaps that's because you haven't seen all of it yet," he returned, his words holding just as much suggesive meaning.
Her first words spoken to him then prompted him to say his next. "I may have been paid to transport you, but the comfort of your journey will depend on you." If she got to be too annoying, he could toss her in the dungeon. But, he considered himself a fair and patient man . . . sometimes. "Now, if you would please make your way. Welcome lass, to the Jolly Roger," he said, extending his hand to escort her onto the ship. Apart from other things, he could be a gentleman when he so chose to be. Lucky for her, this happened to be one of those times, despite her insults at that.

Goldie lingered her eyes over the pirate captain as he spoke just as distastefully back to her. She smirked quietly, moving closer to him. “If you’re threatening to place me in some sort of stow-a-way to rid your annoyance of me… I have a feeling that your agreement with the Huntsman is contingent on the fact that I arrive to safety both happy and well…maintained,” she said, giving a slight tilt of her head. “if anything, you’ll treat me kindly I’m guessing because the shiny golden coins at the end of the voyage tell you to. He would never give you full payment until he knew I was taken care of. Some men… have intellect,” she said with a lift of her eyebrow before looking down at his body, peering at the hook before looking back up at him. “I’m not a ‘lass’ who is going to melt in your one good hand, pirate.”
Goldie picked up the sides of her dress, making her way onto the boat, before looking over her shoulder. “ I assume as a good host, you’ll be having dinner with me?” she questioned, giving a slow smirk in his direction before turning to walk back on the boat. She kept her back toward him as she continued to speak, “Perhaps some rum,” she declared, dropping the fabric of her dress from her hands as she lift them to her cloak, beginning to unfasten it so that she could take it off.

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION My, my. This woman was foolish enough to have the audacity to insult a pirate such as himself. If she kept it up, things certainly weren't going to end well for her. He raised an eye brow at her . . . well, what was it? A threat? "My dear, you are placing far too much value on yourself," he told her. "Do not think that I am in dire need for this coin." It was true that he received only half the payment, but that didn't mean he needed to tolerate her just to get the rest. "I care nothing for your happiness or maintenance. And for you to assume so highly of yourself, is naive and foolish." Neither were things that Hook found the slightest bit appealing about a woman.
"I can just as easily compensate that coin by selling you to a few lonely men. Or perhaps taking you to the Evil Queen herself for surely there is a reason that the Huntsman wants you out of the kingdom, away from her wrath." Whether he was compensated for that or not, it would provide him satisfaction if she was going to be mouthy with him. He had already tried to be nice -- as nice as was expected of a pirate -- and she retorted with such statements?
This wasn't going to do at all. When she boarded his ship, he did the same, motioning for his men to ready for departure, moving the ramp and starting to part from the dock. She went further, presuming that she was going to dine with him. "Aye, that was the original plan," he told her truthfully with a smirk. "But until you learn to speak to me with proper respect, I think you'll find your stomach empty and your throat parched." He wasn't about to treat her with respect if he received none in return. "This is my ship, and you would do well to remember that," he added as he walked passed her. "In your positions. Prepare to set sail, lads," he announced, and within moments, the Jolly Roger was set to embark on its next adventure.
