Tharon had been waiting quite some time to be able to enact his own plans. Things in town certainly were exciting since Emma had broken the spell cast over the inhabitants of the city. The only trouble now stemmed from most in town not having a method to safely get out of town. Puss had an idea though, one that he was certain his old friend Artephius would be proud of. It was going to take some skill to acquire the necessary parts. Puss had an ego but he also knew that he'd need a bit of extra help on this one... It was a begrudging admittance but it was what it was. Making his way into the forest he recalled that this was where the Merry Men were residing. It would take a little sweet talking and maybe some bribery but the cat was confident he could get a hand one way or the other. Walking into the small encampment he looked around to see if he could spy where it was that Robin was located. "I don't mean to disrupt but would any of you happen to know where I might find One Mr Hood?"notoriouspad

Now that the Wicked Witch of the West seems to have been dealt with – according to Regina – Robin Hood and his Merry Men are now enjoying a peaceful afternoon in the woods, knowing that it won't be long until Little John is released from the hospital and joins them once again.
But what seems strange to Robin is the fact that a man came looking for him. Robin has seem him before, but he never found reason to approach him. After all, there's many people in Storybrooke that Robin doesn't quite know yet. But to be approached by one of them, while sitting in his camp, is quite unusual. Still, Robin stands from the stop next to his tent and approaches the man. “That would be me. Is there anything that I can help you with?”TAG: @tharon

Tharons eyes sparkled when the man announced himself. Still in habit of the past he gave a courtly bow before righting himself. He had given a great deal of thought as to what he needed and the best way to get it. Robin had been getting quite a bit closer to Regina and the cat knew he wouldn't want to tip his hand to quickly. No, Robin had a far better chance at achieving anything with the mayor than Tharon did... The cat was going to need a bit of man power though but he didn't trust the entire merry band. Oh well. One step at a time and the fist step was even getting Robin to help him.
"It is a pleasure to make the acquaintance of so noble an outlaw. The reason I have come is I would like to inquire after hiring you for a job. If you would care to speak a little more in private I shall not take offense."

A job? Now, ever since coming into this realm, a town that is completely strange to him – since regaining his memories – Robin hasn't had much time for any sort of jobs that didn't involve finding out who cast the curse and who was the cause of all the troubles. Even after finding out about the Wicked Witch and having Regina break the curse just so everyone regained their memories, Robin was still busy finding ways to rid the town of the menace, so a job was the last thing in his mind.
And there's also the fact that they're not in the Enchanted Forest anymore, there's no need for Robin to even think about the jobs he used to pull with his Merry Men back home. So when this man approaches him with the talks of a job, Robin can't just help himself but to feel a little weary about where the conversation is going. After all, the man did address him as the Outlaw.
Looking around to make sure his son is within his vision, Robin turns to the man. “Sure, if privacy is what you need, I'm sure we can step away from more noisey ears.” Robin waves his arm, palm up, as he motions to a more secluded area of the woods he set camp at. Robin starts walking over there, barely waiting for the man in question to follow him as he speaks again. “But I'm not sure if it's quite fair for you to know who I am... yet I have no idea who you may be.”TAG: @tharon

Tharon was still doing his best to be pleasant in demeanor and gave a smile that was full of mirth and merriment. It was a serious business discussion but he felt that formality could be bred with a level of relaxed atmosphere. It helped to cultivate a more reasonable manner between both of the involved parties. He had to admit that being out here in the forest seemed to have a familiarity to it. The idea of singing songs, playing music, and just enjoying the simple things in life… Ah it was nostalgia.
When Robin looked at him a little skeptically Tharon figured that he’d just have to try his hardest to be a bit more personable. Really the cat had nothing to hide and it was of some comfort so that he could be open and honest with Robin. When he asked if they cared to move someplace else he gave a small nod. “Someplace more private seems like a good idea. Not that my job offer is of any super secret nature but it would be a bit unbecoming to ask all of your comrades to be apart of it.”
As they began to walk a little ways into the forest the cat gave a light whistle through his lips, still in an obviously good mood at the idea of finally getting to speak with the outlaw. As they began walking he paused in mid chorus of the song he was whistling and looked over with an apologetic eye. “Oh I am terribly sorry. I shouldn’t be so rude as to ever assume you knew of me. Your reputation was a great deal more wide spread than mine was. I am Puss In Boots.. Or I suppose in this world I am called Tharon.”

Robin is no stranger to strange things happened, whether they're in this new town he's at or back home – specially since he heard of the so called curse. But animals now being people... that's something that Robin can't quite understand. When Regina first told him about Jiminy Cricket – or Dr. Hopper – Robin had a hard time understanding how it would be possible, even after he long explanation... so standing in front of a cat in a human body, is mind boggling to say the least.
Of course, Robin has heard of the feats of a cat that wears boots and at times he also thought of him as a rival to his jobs. However, Robin has never met the man... cat, until now. Trying not to sound too offensive, Robin turns to Tharon with his eyebrows raised.“You're a cat!” Robin quickly shakes his head, knowing that be probably just offended the man standing in front of him. “I'm sorry for my bluntness... I'm just getting used to everything that is going on on this new land. I've heard of you and your feats in the Enchanted Forest. It's my pleasure finally meeting you in person.”Smiling, Robin extends his hand towards the man, expecting him to shake it. “So... what kind of a job do you have for me?”TAG: @tharon

Tharon felt a nervous laugh make its way past his lips. He still didn't quite know why he could never get used to people being surprised he was a cat. Be in human guise or when he had been a cat back in the Enchanted Forest it always seemed to shock people that there were sentient cats around. Oh well, it was nice to still be seen as something spectacular so he never took offense at the matter. He cleared his throat to rid himself of the small chortle. "Yes I am a cat.. or rather I -was- until being brought to this world by the Dark Curse. It's my understanding there are actually quite a few other animals inhabiting this world in the body of humans."
The young man righted himself and glanced down at his shoes, feeling a sense of nostalgia and longing to wear his favorite boots again. He was a little surprised by Robins explanation of having heard of him and he put a hand over his chest modestly. "I am flattered that my reputation preceded me. You yourself were an inspiration to me in my later years." Taking the offered hand he shook it in a firm but nonthreatening manner. "As for the job, it is a bit of a two parter... First I am going to need some Fairy Dust.. Pixie Dust would be better but I don't believe we have that here. And second I am going to need a special bonding potion that's currently in the possession of One Madame Mayor."

Robin should have known that something of the sort would be asked of him. It doesn't come as a surprise to him, he's just surprised it hasn't happened sooner, especially after everyone learned that Robin has gotten fairly close to Regina in the last few weeks. So, to have a man such as Tharon coming to him for help, shouldn't be unusual.
But that doesn't change the fact that Robin doesn't want to do anything that crosses Regina in any shape or form – he's happy. He hasn't been this happy with someone since his Marian died and he was left alone in the world with their son. Still, Robin addresses the first need of the man. “You're in need of some fairy dust?” Robin folds his arms across his chest, in deep thought. “I believe I've heard the dwarfs talking about how there's some underneath these very woods, in the mines they now work at to produce some for Blue and her fairies. You might want to start with them... or you could try and get a hand on one of their picks if you'd prefer. Though I'd suggest the first one.”Seems like a reasonable request, even the reformed thief still has a little desire for adventure, even if he can't phantom why would Tharon need a potion made. “But as far as a potion that Regina has...” Robin shrugs his shoulders a little, an apologetic look in his face. “I don't think I can help you. Maybe you can try and ask her yourself... or you can tell me what you need and I'll ask her if she can spare some for you. What is it you're trying to make?” Again, in Robin's head it seems rather reasonable, rather than going around stealing from the woman he's now together with – nor that he would anyway, but perhaps he can still aid the man in what he needs.TAG: @tharon

Robin certainly wasn't a push over. Puss could tell that the man had a great sense of honor within him and that was something that Puss was grateful for. He had figured that Robin wouldn't be the type to steal from a lady... at least not now. From what he could glean together it seemed that Robin and Regina were now... familiar. He had highly doubted that Robin would offer to go and steal anything from her and abuse his relationship so heartily. The cat had his own honor code as well but he also knew that were he to get anywhere the others were unlikely to give him what he needed.
There were some things in life better off not being known by the general masses. Puss face took on a look of disappointment but it did not change the tone of eagerness with which he spoke. "I would never dream of asking you to steal from Regina, that would be despicable and highly dishonorable." He placed one hand in his pocket and let the other scratch at his chin. "Still... this is very difficult to talk about..." He paced a little back and forth. "I really would much rather have no questions asked... But that is hardly fair to -you-." Stopping for a moment he drummed his fingers on his hand before turning to look at Robin again and moving up closer to him to speak in a hushed whisper.
"I understand that the dwarves have been mining fairy dust... The trouble is that they are not allowing others any access to it. I agree that none of the common folk should be able to waltz in and pick up what they want, but they have put so much restriction on it they will not allow me to use it." He heaved a small sigh. "I am willing to tell you what it would be used for. But you must make a solemn promise not to breathe a word of it to anyone? Understood?"

Robin is thankful that the man understands his reasons for not wanting to steal from Regina, even if he doesn’t give away the true source of his feelings for the Mayor. But will Robin still be willing to help the man getting what he needs? Perhaps if he tells him why he needs those items in the first place. So with a nod of his head, Robin replies to the man.“I can promise you that I’ll keep your reasons a secret from my men… after all you did come looking for me and not for them.” Robin pushes his lips together, not sure how to word his next thoughts. “But…” Tharon still needs something from Regina. “…in order to get something from Regina, she needs to know why. I know that I live by a code… but this is Regina we’re talking about. Even if I did steal from her, she would know exactly who to look for… there aren’t many thieves in town as it stands.”And Robin knows that Tharon knows he’s right. Other than these two men, Will Scarlet is the last thief that Storybrooke has laid its eyes upon. Robin slowly scratches his chin, still speaking up. “And Regina is not that bad. If you give her a good reason, I’m sure she’d be willing to help a fella in need. But to tell, what do you need Regina’s potion and some fairy dust for? I'll see what I can do for you from there.”TAG: @tharon

Tharon looked at Robin for several long moments, trying to judge him with his eyes and slowly gave a nod of understanding. As long as they were on the same page then things could work out for the best in the long run. Tharon placed his fingers in his pockets but allowed the thumbs to rest on his belt as he began to pace in a slow circle as he spoke. “Regina is not so eager to give up any of her magical items, that I can be sure of. She also hardly knows me and that is why I worry to ask anything from her.” He sighed and looked up at the canopy, his eyes trained upon a bird flying overhead.
“If I can get some of the potion, and the fairy dust, I think that I may be able to create an object able to move from realm to realm. The thing is… It would only be useable by one person. Now I know there are many who would kill to have that power and that is why I hesitate to tell anyone.”
He stopped watching the bird and walked back over to Robin. “I don’t like keeping it secret but you know if word got out that soon everyone would be trying to come after me, or attack those that have the ingredients to make the item.” He let out a small sigh and looked down. “If I have to, I will take responsibility for speaking to Regina but can you help me get the dust at least? I don’t need all of it I just need at least a tablespoons worth.”
