Dawn of Nidaru - Dark Fantasy

Until recently Nidaru was experiencing an unprecedented time of peace and prosperity. The Eshen Empire was thriving and growing trade between the Elves and Dwarves at an all time high. Then suddenly, without warning, two crisis simultaneously erupted.

Factions inside the human empire began to splinter causing most people to fear a civil war that will certainly threaten the peace of all Nidaru. The Royal Family supports a peaceful coexistence with the other races of Nidaru but a dangerous new faction, led by the Emperor's own sister, desire brutal subjugation of both Elves and Dwarves. This of course has splintered the overall human population. Meanwhile the Elves and Dwarves debate arming for war.

Then, as if that was not worry enough, several scouting reports coming in from the more remote parts of Nidaru detail Dragons in the sky. Long since thought extinct for centuries, the mere idea of Dragons over Nidaru has caused a panic, especially amongst the common folk. Scholars from all races are racing to both verify and discover if the mighty Dragons have indeed returned.
