.:Height:. 5’6’’
.:Portrayed by:. Ginnifer Goodwin| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. Snow has a strong personality. As a child she was the textbook example of a princess: prim, proper, and polite. However once Regina began her crusade toward ruining Snow's life, the princess developed a tougher attitude. Surviving on her own for a majority of her exile taught her to defend herself and to take whatever means necessary for survival: banditry included.
Despite this, Snow is a loving person to the core. She is devoted toward her friends and family, and enjoys believing in the best in everyone.
.:Strengths:. Snow is a skilled archer. Out of all weapons she is most comfortable with using a bow. Her diplomatic skills are strong despite not ruling her kingdom for very long; these skills are now put to use in her role as mayor. Her ability to love is her greatest strength. She loves her family wholeheartedly and is forgiving of many faults.
.:Weaknesses:. Snow holds grudges. Upon learning that her mother was killed by Cora she became determined to kill the other woman. In her younger years she was somewhat vain and small minded though her mother instructed her on the proper way to behave according to her station. Her ability to love, her greatest strength, is also her greatest weakness. She would do anything for her loved ones which could prove dangerous.| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |

(Original timeline)
Snow was born to King Leopold and Queen Eva. She was the only child of the two and doted on during her childhood. Before her coming of age birthday celebration Snow’s mother, Queen Eva, mysteriously became ill. Seeking the help of the Blue Fairy Snow was offered a chance at saving her mother’s life by taking another’s through the use of a candle filled with dark magic. Unable to justify the taking of an innocent life, Snow was not able to save her mother. Unbeknownst to the young princess the Blue Fairy had been Cora in disguise, intent upon darkening the girl’s heart.
After her mother’s death Snow traveled extensively with her father as he sought another mother for her. She was saved from a runaway horse by a young woman named Regina, who her father then proposed marriage to. Snow witnessed Regina kissing the stable boy Daniel after being betrothed to her father which upset her greatly. After speaking with Regina and learning that Daniel was the girl’s true love, Snow promised not to tell anyone that Regina was planning on not marrying Leopold. However the young girl was tricked by Cora, Regina’s mother, into sharing information about Regina and Daniel. Daniel was then killed by Cora based on Snow’s admittance, causing Regina to blame Snow for ruining her happiness.
Snow enjoyed the life of a well brought up princess until the murder of her father. It wasn’t long after her father’s death that Regina sent a huntsman to murder Snow. Realizing what was to happen, Snow begged of the huntsman a chance to write a letter of farewell to her step-mother to apologize for any wrongdoings she might have committed against her. Unable to kill the princess because of her actions, the huntsman allows Snow to go free.
Snow White lived on her own for quite a while, becoming a bandit and a wanted criminal. Her attitude toward life changed during this period; she was no longer the picturesque princess of her childhood but a hardened thief. Snow befriends a young woman named Red and her grandmother who help to shelter her during the first period of her exile.
One of the most poignant incidents of Snow’s life was to occur when attempting to steal a pouch of jewels from Prince James( David). After she pawns the jewels to trolls but is captured by David not long after. She begrudgingly agrees to help him recover a ring sold by her to the trolls. During this time she bestows a nickname upon him: Prince Charming. She initially tries to run from him but is cornered by members of the Black Guard who David helps her defeat. Deciding to stick with him she leads him to the Troll Bridge where the two are nearly vanquished by the trolls. Snow saves David’s life by sacrificing magical dust she’d been planning on using on Regina on the trolls, reducing them to bugs. She jokingly tries on the ring that he recovered from the trolls before returning it to him, the pair going their separate ways.
Snow soon after finds out that David is to marry Princess Abigail, upsetting her as she’d grown fond of the man. She decides to forget about him, requesting the services of Rumpelstiltskin. In return for a potion to forget about David the Dark One requests a strand of her hair. Before drinking the potion she receives a letter from David asking to meet, declaring his love. She goes to the proposed meeting but is captured and jailed. She befriends a dwarf named Grumpy and escapes with him. Nearly leaving the castle she is accosted by King George, David’s ‘father’, and ordered to break the prince’s heart so that he could go ahead and marry Abigail. Reluctantly she does so to save the prince’s life.
Snow stays with Grumpy and his brothers when she then takes the potion, missing the news of the breaking of David’s engagement by a matter of minutes. Her personality changes and she becomes cold and empty. She declares her intent to kill the queen. She eventually comes across Regina and aims an arrow to shoot her but David takes the shot instead. Moved by this she kisses him, breaking the spell of the potion. He is soon after kidnapped by King George’s guards leaving Snow and her allies to lead a rescue mission.
She is shocked to find that he is the prisoner of the Evil Queen. She meets with Regina and willingly takes a bite of a poisoned apple. Snow is later awakened from the Sleeping Curse by True Love’s Kiss, courtesy of David. He proposes after which she accepts.
Snow and David waged war against the Evil Queen, eventually winning back the kingdom. Despite their victory they were awarded no rest as David’s mother was put in danger by King George. Snow is tricked by King David into drinking a potion that would leave her unable to reproduce. She then journeys to the famed Lake Nostos to retrieve magical water to heal David’s mother, Ruth. Ruth learns of Snow’s fate and tricks the princess into drinking the magical water which heals her but which leaves Ruth to die from her poisonous wound. Before Ruth perished Snow married David in a simple ceremony.
Snow attempts to see if Regina has come to regret her actions and tests her by allowing her to go free after imprisoning her. Yet when Regina tries to kill Snow upon achieving her freedom, Snow exiles the former queen.
Not long after Snow and David are married in an elaborate ceremony which is interrupted by Regina. She ominously promises them that she will destroy their happiness. A few months later Snow discovers she is pregnant with her and David’s first child. She recalls Regina’s prior warning and fears for the fate of her child. Upon speaking with the imprisoned Rumpelstiltskin Snow learns that her daughter is to be the Savior who will break the curse that Regina is planning.
After consulting with their allies Snow and David commission a wardrobe crafted from an enchanted tree trunk. Snow is to go through the wardrobe, which can only send one person, to the Land without Magic where she is to raise their child for the next twenty-eight years until the curse can be broken. Before she escapes into the wardrobe Snow goes into labor, giving birth to a daughter named Emma. Snow gives her daughter to David who manages to place Emma in the wardrobe before being attacked by Regina. Still weak from childbirth and the devastation that the curse will occur, Snow makes her way to her child’s nursery where she confronts the Evil Queen. She tells Regina that she is too late as Emma has already been sent through the portal. She is then engulfed in Regina’s magic where she is sent to Storybrooke living under the alias of Mary Margaret Blanchard, unknowing of her true identity.| ~ • ~ | Sample Post | ~ • ~ |
Peace and quiet; it was a true rarity that was to be cherished. It seemed since the curse was broken that she had barely a moment to herself. It wasn’t to say that she wasn’t glad that the curse was broken; Emma had awakened the town and reunited dozens of families and friends. Yet the broken curse had ushered in wave after wave of discord and enemies. Catching a quiet moment was as rare as True Love, or so she thought.
Snow paused in her reading to hear for the telltale cry of her son from the other room but was greeted with nothing but silence. She smiled gently before reclining back against the sofa to turn the page of her novel. Emma and David were busy at the station and Henry was with Regina for the weekend, leaving her alone with young Neal. A piercing cry ripped through the air causing the new mother to groan. She hurriedly set down her book to seek out her child, having misjudged the baby’s desire to give his mother a break.
