Ursula had discovered Neverland. She loved it there.. it was like her own version of her mother's Glowerhaven. Neverland, from Ursula's point of view, was where she was happy..for one reason alone.. the children. The boys who lived on the island had no mothers, just like her. And sometimes, she'd sing to them from afar and lull them to sleep. Other times, the boys would come look for her, and every now and then she would show herself and befriend them. Most of the time though, she stayed hidden. She was happy to provide her voice to give comfort to others. She knew it was because of her bond that she had with the boys, since she had lost her own mother. Perhaps she felt some sort of maternal obligation.. she enjoyed it either way.
It was late, and all of the boys were likely asleep. Still though, she perched herself on a large rock that was sticking out of the sea near the shore, and she began to sing. That way, if one of the boys woke up, they'd hear her voice, and they'd be comforted enough to get more rest. She had her eyes closed, so she wasn't paying attention. She was just singing away. The tune had no words..it was just a melody. It was a song that she had in her heart, and she was singing it loudly, but yet.. softly.
