Milah couldn't believe it... she was in Atlantis. Of all places to ever be. She admitted to herself, that she wondered if the map was even real, knowing that at least the adventure getting there would be fun.. But it was real. It existed, and she was there. She.. and her new family, the crew of the Jolly Roger. They were all put in lavish rooms that all connected so that they wouldn't get lost. It was a little noisy, as most of the men were joining in some festivities that were happening. It seemed like a fun, happy place filled with beauty. Currently, Milah was standing on the balcony of her room, wearing a long golden colored night dress and robe. The people of Atlantis insisted on them wearing comfortable clothing, as the weather was very, very tropical and warm.
She knew she was going to have to fight herself to want to leave. The waterfalls, the climate, the people. It seemed entirely too perfect. So perfect that she knew she had to leave for that reason. Atlantis was relatively untouched aside from the people who lived there for generations. It likely meant that one day the race would die out, and that was quite depressing..but for now, they were full of life, and loving it. Milah inhaled deeply, smelling the air. It smelled like fresh fruit and honeysuckle. It was gorgeous.
Her mind suddenly went to what life would be like in a place like this.. Not alone, but with Killian. Wouldn't it be wonderful? But she coudln't think of that.. no matter how much they flirted, he was still her Captain. Even though she did harbor great feelings for him. Not to mention..she was someone's wife once, and it didn't work out. She felt as though she could find love.. with a certain pirate.

you make ONE HELL OF A PIRATE Killian was in a rather good mood. They had found the city of Atlantis, and it was far more beautiful than could ever be imagined. The people were also quite hospitable, as they welcomed them. Which, was fortunate as it could have gone the opposite way. They had permitted them to stay in rather extravagant rooms, and gave them clothing to change into. Killian hadn't quite changed into it, and managed to tell them in such a way that did not cause offense.
He had been with the others and his crew, enjoying the festivities and feast they had prepared in their honor. It was all quite fun and good, however Killian felt like something was missing. Rather . . . someone. Milah. He found himself greatly missing her company. He found himself growing more and more drawn to her . . . in a way that he hadn't been with any other woman. For it was not just her physical beauty -- which was undeniable. It was deeper. Something that went to the very core of his heart. Emotions he had not experienced before. He didn't exactly know what was happening, but he knew he loved being around her. And tonight, was no exception. He dismissed himself from everyone's company, assuring them he would return. He felt compelled to check on Milah to make sure she was alright.
He went to his room first, and as his was connected to hers, he went to the connecting door. He wasn't sure if she was asleep, and didn't want to wake her with a knock. He very slowly and quietly opened the door, seeing her standing on the balcony. She was a vision. The epitome of beauty, and he found himself just staring at her, utterly mesmerized. He wasn't sure how long he had been staring at her before he realized that . . . well, he probably shouldn't be. He quietly closed the door and straightened himself out, before knocking on it. "Milah?" He said, allowing her to open the door and making his presence known with his voice.

Milah had been lost in her thoughts when she heard the knocking, and her name being called. She turned and smiled seeing Killian there.. she realized that deep down, she had hoped he would come to see her. "Killian," her smile widened a little more when she spoke his name. "I'm surprised you're not still with the others. From the sound of it, the festivities are in full swing." She folded her robe over to cover herself, showing at least a little bit of modesty. Even in her pirate clothing she didn't really show a lot of herself.
"You're welcomed to join me here.. I was just thinking of how nice it would be to be a native of this place. No wonder it's lost.. I honestly hope it stays that way forever..untouched by outside forces.." she gazed off in to the distance for a moment, and then blinked. "Sorry.. i'm rambling." She gave him another smile, and stepped to the side a little, beckoning him to join her in looking out over Atlantis. They had a beautiful view of the sea from this angle. "It's a gorgeous view. It's so perfect..." The sand was the whitest she'd ever seen..and it had been the softest she'd felt, too.

you make ONE HELL OF A PIRATE Killian further entered the room when she didn't seem rejecting of his company, and welcomed him to do. "Aye, they are," he confirmed. He had instructed his men not to drink too much, for they were guests and needed to still have clear heads so that they didn't do anything overly foolish. It was one thing to drink excessively in a tavern, an entirely different matter in a place such as this. "You don't wish to join them?"
He asked. His way of inquiring as to whether she was alright; if something was holding her back or if she just preferred some quiet time. She was the first woman they ever had on their crew, so he knew that the men could be . . . overwhelming at times. She spoke of how she hoped that this place remained untouched, that the natives would be able to keep to it. "I know what you mean," he said pensively, agreeing whole heartily.
"Let's hope it remains uncorrupted," he said expressing his agreement. He already planned to burn the map so that it would never be discovered. "We can help prevent this and destroy any evidence of how to find this place," he told her, wanting her to know that he didn't intend to do anything to jeopardize Atlantis or the citizens of it. As she complimented the view, he moved to stand next to her and gazed out at it, but only for a brief moment as he had his head slightly turned to look at her more than the scenery before them. "It is indeed. Breathtakingly beautiful." A vision of perfection she was.

Killian asked if Milah didn't wish to join the others, and instantly she felt guilty. "Oh, no no.. that's not it.. I was just hoping to get another view of the place is all. This balcony has a beautiful view... And the music and jovial sounds are much more enjoyable from up here." She mused with a small smile. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy the company of the pirates, but rather the fact that she wanted to enjoy parts of Atlantis that no one could see while they were dancing, drinking, and feasting. "I do love spending time and having fun with the crew but.. there's something about this place that begs to be observed with sober eyes." When he spoke of how they would destroy the evidence of this place when they were gone, her eyes lit up. "You'd do that?" She asked with a kind, sweet voice. "But Killian..this map could make you rich beyond your wildest dreams..." But yet, there was a glint in her eyes that showed how appreciative she was.
"I'd like that, though.. to keep Alantis safe. The next group of pirates who finds it will hardly be anything like you, Killian." She hadn't been with the crew for very long, but she could tell that they weren't vicious and cut throat. They were actually rather kind for being pirates. As they stood on the balcony, looking out over the place. It was truly the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. He agreed with her statement of it's beauty, by saying that it was breath taking. She looked to the side at him, and noticed that he had been looking at her. Was he saying that she was breath taking as well? The two of them had flirted back and forth with one another, but she never thought that Killian would be interested in her in that way. "So..serene," she spoke, suddenly feeling her voice tremble slightly.
She didn't say another word for a long moment. She gently placed her hand over his, and stared in to his eyes. "It's your move, Captain.." she spoke with a bit of a playful, teasing tone in her voice, trying to hide the fact that her stomach was fluttering.
