Fifty years ago the supernatural population revealed themselves to the city of Providence, Rhode Island.
Rather than being relegated to shadowy nightmares, the creatures of the night showed themselves to be a savvy class of ruthless businessmen and women who'd orchestrated a town into their own personal playground. Even stronger than the supernatural ties were the mafia ones that cut the city into sections, particularly the East going to the strongest organized werewolf clan while the West did the same with the vampires. Dozens of other groups, including wolves, vampires, shifters, and ghouls now call the city home and take part in a power struggle that's been building for centuries.
War has officially come to Providence and battle lines are being drawn with Chernov having declared war on the city's largest shifter and werewolf clans. A neutral clan has been attacked on two different fronts and lost people which means the alliances are shifting and it's becoming anyone's game. A strange anti-supernatural cult has also begun making itself more prominent in town along with a serial killer known only as The Watcher while a dangerous virus hides behind the threat of war.<p>
