Periwinkle had been split up from the rest of her friends that she traveled with, and she was on her own in the Enchanted Forest. It was a bit warm this time of year - at least, too warm for her, so she made sure to keep close to areas filled with water so that it was easy to freeze. That way, she could keep things frozen and be comfortable. She enjoyed the Enchanted Forest. She'd been there before, she had even found out that she'd been born in there.. but this was where her sister lived. She'd not seen Tinkerbell in quite awhile, and was worried for her. She tried not to think about it, though, hoping that she was just off performing fairy duties, and that she'd eventually see her one day. For now, she was busying herself with making her little ice fort, and watching the butterflies.
It was easy to find her..she made a path of frost in the otherwise green and flourishing forest, in case any of her friends came looking for her. She was currently in the form of a human, lying on a large branch, overlooking the pond that she made as her own. Her little home that she built looked like a small cottage, surrounded by crystallized lily pads. She was absentmindedly twirling her wand, when she heard footsteps in the not so distant...distance. She lifted her head, and she looked around. "Hello?" She called out, not thinking that it could be a foe. Perhaps she was too trusting of people.

Rufio was finally free from Neverland, though in some ways, it had been against his will. His main objective hadn't necessarily been to get off the island, but initially to free it of Pan's wrath. He had failed in his plan, and was now here. The pirates had dumped him first chance they got -- thank god -- and his wounds from the ambush were somewhat starting to heal. He had managed to procure a weapon in preparation to defend himself, and also had his slingshot that he kept tucked away -- it was perhaps his most favored choice of weapon. Right now though, he was not without purpose. Tinkerbell had spoken of her sister and Rufio was set out to find her to assure her that Tinkerbell was alright. Or at least Rufio hoped that was true. He didn't know what her fate was having been tkaen off the island. He could only hope that Pan didn't discover her involvement in his plans, as he hoped the same for the other Lost Boys who had joined with him. After a bit of asking around, he had been directed to an area in the forest and as soon as Rufio saw the icey path, he knew he was on the right track. He followed it, pausing when he reached a small cottage and lake. A quiet sound around him set him on edge as he pulled out his large dagger. He was unused to freedom; to not being watched, for Pan had his spies all over Neverland and that had been what Rufio grew accustomed to for all those centuries he was there. His eyes scanned his surroundings until he heard a woman's voice that prompted him to look up. There, he saw a woman on a tree branch. Even from this distance, he cuold see the striking similarity to Tinkerbell and kenw he found exactly who he was looking for. "Come down, fairy. I need to speak to you," he told her. He was not going to bother with introduction right away, not assure her that he meant no harm. Though, he did tuck away his blade once more, looking expectantly at her. He supposed he would have to give her something more significant. "It's about your sister." He knew he was assuming that it was Periwinkle but . . . he was trusting his gut feeling right now. And if he was wrong, then he would just move right on along.

When she heard a voice calling to her, she focused her attention on a stranger who was telling her that he needed to speak to her. She wasn't sure about that one, but when he spoke of how it was about her sister, she was listening. "Tinkerbell?" Pointing her wand at herself, she used her magic to shrink herself down in to the size of a fairy. She flew down, and hovered in front of him, glowing a little with a soft white light. "Is my sister okay? " She didn't know who he was, or how he knew her, but those were questions she'd ask later. Right now, Tinkerbell was the priority. She hoped and hoped that her friend was safe and sound.
Realizing that it was probably weird to talk to a little ball of light, she cast herself to be in human form again, and she stood in front of him, ready to pay attention and listen. This guy didn't look like anyone she'd seen here before. He didn't have a horse, riding in like a knight in shining armor, he wasn't some sort of royal - from what she could guess.. In fact, it was kind of refreshing.

Fortunately, the mention of her sister was enough to capture her interest as she spoke her name and then . . . became the typical size of a fairy. He just stared at her, remaining silent when she asked him whether Tinkerbell was alright. Truth be told, it felt bizarre talking to someone who looked like the size of a mosquito, but fortunately, he didn't have to voice that. For soon enough, she transformed herself into human form. It was far easier to converse with someone who was this normal size. Then again, he supposed normal was relative since he came from an island with mermaidss, orphans, shadows that captured people, and then magical traps all around the island. Realizing she was still waiting fo an answer, he replied.
"She's in Neverland," he told her. "She's fine." He hoped. "She's been there the last little while." He figured he had better give some context. "I know cause I came from there. She's a good friend of mine." Assurance that he was not an enemy, nor lying about her well being. Or at least he hoped he would not be proved a liar. He was worried enough for the both of them, there was no need to cause her sister concern. He could carry that worry onto himself and just continue to hope that she found a way off that island. Until then, he would forever hold the weight of having abandoned her there.
