"I'll believe that when I see it!" Elsa repsonded with a laugh when he said that he could prepare non-alcoholic drinks. She rolled her eyes when he said that it wasn't as enjoyable, which she expected. She had just never thought it was wise for someone with powers like hers to lose her inhibitions due to the stuff. She raised both eyebrows and her eyes widened as he mention the 'pleasurable things on the beach' drink. "Oh dear. Wouldn't sand get all over the pla-" she stopped, blushing.
It was nice not having her job considered full time, like her job as Queen was. "That's a good point. Being Queen is hard work," she agreed. It was nice to just have time to be with friends. Heck, it was nice to have time to make friends.
Killian was quite insightful when it came to romance, she noticed. She sighed, knowing that he was right. "I'm... I'm sure I'll come up with another excuse momentarily," she said with a little smirk.
She lost her damsel in distress look and laughed out loud as he played along with her. "You're probably not lying, though!" She said, knowing that women probably sought after him. They probably found him even without help from a GPS system. She was relieved that he insisted it wouldn't be able to trick him.
"Hmm....I'll consider joining you on your adventure with the GPS. So, are we almost there?" she asked.

It's a device for... TALKING, I DON'T BLOODY KNOW Elsa told him she would believe that when she observed it himself and he gave a bit of a nod. "Sounds like a challenge. And I always love me a good challenge," he stated. She then commented on the drink description he had given, pointing out that sand would get all over the place, though she seemed to stop mid sentence as a blush bloomed on her skin. Killian couldn't help but chuckle with amusement.
"Well that's all part of the fun," he said, not confirming nor denying that he had experience with . . . pleasurable activities on the beach. "You'll have to try it sometime," he teased. He was quite aware that not many would speak to a queen as such but even if they weren't in Storybrooke . . . well, he tended not to discriminate based on rank in how he addressed another. It was after all a royal that was responsible for his rebellion in becoming a pirate. Elsa seemed to have a good sense of humor though so Killian continued on with each jest.
"Aye. So consider yourself on a temporary vacation here." One that allowed him to take her on this little trip. "And when you do, I will be ready with my rebuttal," he teased. She then spoke of how he probably wasn't lying and Killian gave a cocky grin. "Not in the slightest, lass. Though I best not retell such tales of the past." Stories of his adventures, of course. Past encounters with women . . . not so much. Her question came at perfect timing as they had finally arrived at the location he'd meant to take her to. "This is it," he announced, deciding he best give some description before they entered.
"It is called an Arcade. The concept is rather fascinating; you put coins into machines and they allow you to play odd games. Some of which dispense prizes." Paper tickets, candy, or stuffed toys. "My personal favorite is a game where the objective is to smack crocodiles on the head with a hammer." They would continue to pop out and one had to continue to hit them on the head. Needless to say, Killian excelled at such a game . . . considering his past with Crocodiles -- or a crocodile. Besides, it proved to be a rather therapeutic outlet for him. "Shall we?" He offered, motioning for her to enter first before he would follow.

Elsa knew that Killian would laugh at her for being so embarrassed about where she was going with the sand comment. It wasn't a rude laugh, though, just one of amusement. His response caused her to laugh a little as well. "I'll try the drink," she emphasized, giving him a playful little glare. She hadn't really ever though about... that stuff... let alone on a beach! She was an Ice Queen for goodness sakes. What if the hot sand made her melt? Nah, of course it wouldn't do that!
"Vacation... Yes, I like that," she said slowly. Se hadn't come up with another excuse for avoiding love, yet, but she knew that she had plenty locked away in her brain somewhere, right? It wouldn't be too hard to come up with something.
She was glad, in a way, that he wasn't lying about the damsel in distress act. She had never had a friend like him and it really was quite the new experience, one that she was indeed grateful for. She didn't comment on it further, however, for they had arrived at their strange destination. She listened intently as he explained the place and her eyes widened in confusion.
"It probably makes more sense once you're in there," she decided before stepping inside. The flashing lights of the boxes and the loud noises startled her for a moment. "Show me these crocodiles!"

Note: HAHA! Love that gif! It's perfect!
It's a device for... TALKING, I DON'T BLOODY KNOW Elsa commented on how she would try the drink, and Hook gave a bit of a smirk. "One thing at a time I suppose," he said teasingly. She then agreed that she liked the sound of this being a vacation. It certainly seemed like she deserved it. Though those entering Storybrooke wasn't always under the best or most ideal of circumstances. He was only too glad that she had found those to call friend within this town. Her evident confusion over his explanation was more than understandable. It was after all a rather foreign concept to all those from the other world. Hook could recall only too well his first time coming.
When they went in, and she told him to show the crocodiles, Hook smiled. "Gladly." He went to one of the strange machines which he had learned that if you put bills in, special funny looking coins come out. Yet those were the coins that one needed to get the machines working. Inserting a bill, several coins poured out and he held them in his hand, freeing her of the burden to carry them. "Right this way, love," he said, heading over to the first game.
He pocketed the coins for a moment -- needing to free his hand -- keeping only a couple to insert into the machine. He then passed her the large hammer with a soft top. It looked more like a club he supposed. Handing it to her, he began to explain while inserting the coins. "Now, the crocodiles are going to start popping out and you have to hit them on the head. Eventually, more will come at aa increasingly rapid pace." Oh how Hook loved this game. "Ready?" He asked, and with that, inserted the last coin so that the game could get started.

Elsa had never seen anything like it. It was clear that it was some kind of room for enjoyment, because everyone was smiling and laughing around her. But what were they even doing? None of it made any sense to her! She just watched as Killian started to lead her through the place, toward the alleged crocodiles. She had no idea how you could fit a croc in one of those boxes!
He led her to a device that gave him coins for money. She had learned what money was, she had to know in order to work at the ice cream shop. Once he had the coins, she followed him with wide eyes to the said machine for the crocodile smashing.
Her eyes widened even more, if that was possible, as she took the mallet and he explained the game. "Uuuh, yes?" she answered as he slipped one more coin in and the 'crocodiles' appeared. There weren't real, thank heavens! Merely toy creatures.
Elsa struggled, at first, but soon she got the hang of it and was laughing as the game sped up. "All right, all right. I see the appeal in this!" she said through her laughter as she bopped a few more on the head.

It's a device for... TALKING, I DON'T BLOODY KNOW He watched with amusement as she got the hang of the game, successfully hitting the crocodiles as they continued to pop out. "It's bloody brilliant, eh," he said, once she conceded that there was indeed an appeal to this.
She was smiling and clearly enjoying herself. "As I said, quite therapeutic." Who wouldn't enjoy clunking something on the head . . . especially crocodiles. They held a rather strong significance for Killian. "You seem to be rather good at this love. Dare I inquire as to how," he said teasingly, assuming she didn't exactly have practice hitting things with a mallet.

She nodded in agreement as he said it was brilliant and smiled mischievously at him when he said that she was too good at it. She turned back to the game as it slowly came to a stop. "Awe well, I think I just have a lot of pent up anger, you see," she explained, in all honesty she was sure this could be the reason why she was having such a good time hitting the little plastic things on the head.
"Do you want to take a whack at it?" she asked, offering the mallet to him and giggling a little at the obvious pun in her question. He seemed to need a bit of the stress relief as well. "I'll be honesty. Part of the reason it is so appealing is because you get to beat up technology!" she laughed. Technology had given her a hard enough time since arriving in Storybrooke.
