The Curse was coming, the scroll had been read and now there was only one thing to do; say goodbye to Storybrooke and go home, back to the Enchanted Forest. The green smoke was moving faster and faster. As Regina turned to Emma and Henry, she knew instinctively there would be no time to do the memory spell. The smoke was here and enveloping the group. Regina saw Henry and Emma move back but it was too late for them to escape the smoke. They'd lose their memories. There was nothing more she could do for them. People began to disappear around her but Regina kept her eyes on one person, Henry. But what she saw wasn't what she expected to.
Henry and Emma were shimmering; faint gold was outlining them and then they too were gone, along with everyone else...
When everyone arrived in the Enchanted Forest, it was with two extra travellers; Henry and Emma stood amongst them. In the chaos of confusion and questioning that followed, it was soon realized that Emma's instinctual magic and desire to stay as a family had brought them along too. They were all together. Except now they were back home in a land that had once been peaceful but was
now full of dangers, untold mysteries and in need of care and rebuild.
It was decided that they would work with the people already here to rebuild kingdoms, maintain peace treaties and clear out the monsters and evil that had crept into the lands during their absence.
However little did they know that there was another evil at work, one that lurked in the shadows; one that had been conspiring for many years.
That of Cora's eldest daughter Zelena. The abandoned first-born of Cora, brought up in another world and with serious envy issues of the sister she'd watched for years, is now determined to have her moment and destroy Regina. With access to new worlds, this sorceress could be one of the deadliest foes that the Storybrooke people have ever faced.
Hope appears during one of Emma's magic lessons as a stray spark of her powers produces a shoot in the royal garden that shows signs of growing into a plant that produces the magical beans. On top of this, Rumpelstiltskin appears, having been restored from the dead by the arrival of the new curse.
Unfortunately, as he reports, so was Peter Pan and, even worse, no one knows where Pan is. With Peter Pan and Zelena on the loose and the kingdoms in a state of disrepair, it looks like a very bleak journey ahead for our heroes.
