Bloody hell, this was not good. Smee had been gone far too long. Killian had received a tip that something which could help find the dagger could be found on the ship that they had been spending quite some time tracking. What that something was, Killian had no damn clue. He had sent Smee to lurk around the ship in attempt to find it.

But he had been gone for far too long, and Hook knew that it meant something had gone wrong. That Smee had been caught . . . or worse. But Killian would not consider the latter. He planned to retrieve his crew mate, but also did not want to barge on the ship in attempt to take it over. No. They had to be more subtle about this. Partly because if Smee didn't find what they were looking for, then Hook wanted to be able to search the ship for it as well. If the only way to do that was a take over, then so be it. "Here's the plan lads," he began, his crew was gathered around him as they finalized the plan. Hook paused for a moment, glancing at Katalina. "And lass," he added, incorporating her sex into the statement for he was far from forgetting that there was indeed a woman aboard the ship.

"I'll go on board using one of our row boats to find Smee. If you don't receive the signal, then hold your position and I should return quickly." Because if he didn't have to give it, it meant that everything was going according to plan and that he didn't need assistance. "If you see the flame, then you know what that means," he added, his word responded to with a rumble of eyes from the crew. It meant that they would quickly sail out from the darkness and fog, and take over the ship. "I still want to know where that dagger is, so keep the causalities to a minimum." Not out of mercy, but in case someone knew something that could help him retrieve the dagger. "Any questions?" He asked, his eyes surveying the crew around him.

Katalina didn't like this. Not at all. Smee had been gone for
way too long. Kat even paced on the deck while they waited
for him to return. After a while, Killian gathered the crew
around to discuss a plan to get Smee back
because it was more than obvious that he'd
been caught. She was a bit amused when he added
lass after a moment of looking at her; she'd finally
felt included in this group and there had been no
issues since the trip to get her gold.

What Katalina didn't like was Killian's plan to go in alone.
She snorted. "I have a statement. You must be out of
your mind if you think I'm letting you go in alone, and
without some sort of distraction." There. She'd said it.
And she didn't give a care if anyone else thought she
was out of line. She wasn't about to let Killian get killed
trying to save Smee. She was going to go with him,
and that might make her look bull-headed, but
that was alright with her.

"I'm going with you." Katalina stated, though it
was probably obvious that was her plan.

Katalina said that she had a statement, and went on to claim that he was out of his mind if he believed he was going alone. Killian was far from offended by her words. And he knew better than to try and argue with her. Especially in instances like these, it was often futile. While he held authority on the ship, his crew were also his mates and he was not always completely rejecting of their opinions and suggestions. Killian looked at her as she said that she was going with him, her mind clearly made up.

He could find a way for her to stay here, that wasn't an issue. But he also knew that rescuing Smee was priority . . . and finding the dagger came as a second. If he had a distraction, perhaps both could be achieved. "And just what sort of distraction do you suggest on posing as?" He questioned, as if he was entertaining the idea when he was already well aware that she would be accompanying him. "It will need to be a damn good one," he said with a hint of teasing in his voice. If this was going to be part of the plan, then they needed to make sure they discussed it prior to executing it.

Katalina eased a bit after she saw that no one argued about
what she'd said. Good. That meant that she had a chance of
actually going with Killian. Granted, even if they had argued
she would have waited until Killian left before she did.

"Well, most pirates seem to be distracted easily enough
by women out at sea, don't they?" Obviously not this
crew, as Kat had noticed, but most others. She smiled
slowly, going to her bag. "Be right back."

With that, Katalina ducked behind where they couldn't
see her change her clothes. The red dress that she put
on she hadn't worn in front of the pirates, and she didn't
bother putting on shoes. She did do her make-up, however,
and then she looked down at herself for a moment before
returning to the men. "I could quite easily be your distraction."
Then a smirk. "Unless you'd rather one of your men dress
like a woman."

Katalina spoke of how pirates were easily distracted by women . . . and well, that much was true. What more did pirates want in life rather than loot, drink, and women? It was what a pirate's life consisted of and he supposed that these pirates who had captured Smee were no exception to this accurate generalization. "Aye, a woman. Not one of the lads," he said mockingly, as she had become one of them, and was dressed such a way too -- or perhaps that was how they all now perceived her. His words were responded to with laughter, but before anything else could be said, she told them that she would be right back and disappeared. Killian rolled his eyes, unsure of what she was doing.

"Make it quick, Kitten! We are on a bit of a time constraint," he said, sarcastically minimizing the important of time for . . . it was indeed greatly important. They stood there, waiting . . . and waiting . . . and waiting . . . "Bloody hell, woman." . . . and waiting . . . and -- finally! She emerged from where she had been concealed and revealed herself looking, well more womanly than he had seen in a while. His eyes looked over her, carefully inspecting her appearance with a raised eyebrow. He finally reached a conclusion after eying her up and down. "I think you'll make for a rather good distracting wench after all," he said with amusement as the others roared with laughter.

Katalina knew that she was taking far longer than
what she had needed to, but in order for the plan
to actually work, she needed to look clean and
far better than a pirate; otherwise they would
figure out the plan and all would go to hell. So she
called back to Killian with, "Do you want this to work or
not?"

When Kat revealed her new look, it was more
than obvious the men hadn't seen her dressed that
way in a while, and she rolled her eyes as Killian
looked her over and even called her a wench. That
was worse than Kitten, she mused. She raised a thin
eyebrow and smacked him lightly on the shoulder.
"Now, the question is, rowboat or overboard?"

Her reaction to his taunt had been a playful smack on his shoulder and he had merely continued to smirk as she questioned whether they would take a rowboat or go overboard. "Well I would hate to spoil the look you were spending so long in attaining," he said with a mocking tease in his voice, continuing on the playful mood despite the circumstances. "We'll go by boat," he answered. Not to protect her look, for he imagined that even wet, it would capture the other men's attention. Perhaps even more so. Hmm, so many possibilities.

"Before their light catches sight of us, I will swim to the ship and start to climb from the side, as you distract them," he explained, confident that a young pretty woman would capture the attention of all those on deck. "You will need to be a strong diversion, kitten," he reminded, once again teasing her on the subject. "Try to act feminine just for tonight," he added in further jest, chuckling at his own words and what they implied. Of course he didn't actually expect her to play out the role of wench -- the name he had just called her by -- but he couldn't resist teasing her on the subject.

Katalina  rolled her eyes at Killian's attitude, though she was amused by it, despite the circumstances. She cracked her knuckles after giving him a good smack on the shoulder, and she listened intently at what the plan was. Though even she
knew that it didn't matter if she were wet or dry, she
would still catch the attention of the crew. She gave him
a deadpan look when he called her wench. "You want me to
act like a wench, hm?" With that statement, she walked up
close to him, until their bodies were barely touching.

"I can be feminine, no problem. Just don't forget you turned
this sexy body down when we first met," Katalina reminded
him, all in good fun. Then she turned her back on him, before
glancing over her shoulder. "Shame, we could have had a great
time together."

With that tease out of the way, Katalina went to the little
ship they would be taking. She started sending it down
to the water when she called out, "You coming, Cap'n?"

He slightly raised an eyebrow as she approached him, stating that she could be feminine and reminding him that he had turned her down when they first met. Though it had been some time ago, he clearly recalled her words of that day. He remained silent upon the fact that the two had one night of physical intimacy, as it had been a night of too much drink and bad judgment. Besides, he wasn't about to announce that in front of the entire crew.

"Aye," he said, fully remembering that particular conversation upon their initial meeting. "And it was the bloody best decision I ever made," he added with amusement, in pure mockery as a few of the men on his crew chuckled. "I think I was mistaken," he continued to say. "It appears you don't have to act like one," he said further teasing her, suggesting that she did not have to act as a wench for it was a natural state for her. He was of course mocking Katalina; it was far too tempting not to.

She had also remarked that they could have had a great time together and once again, Killian responded to the words. "I said it then and I'll say it now, my standards are quite high, love. I doubt you'd be able to meet them, or even keep up with me," he said with joking suggestiveness as he too began to walk toward the rowboat they would be taking down. "Keep close watch, lads," he told them before he went to the edge of the ship. "After you," he said, gesturing for her to get inside so that he could follow and the men could send the boat the rest of the way down with them in it.

Katalina rolled her eyes at the captain's mockery. Best decision, her ass.
What guy would turn down the chance at sex of any kind? That was bizarre,
but she was grateful that he hadn't taken her up on it.
She remembered all too well how their first encounter
with each other had ended, and she was glad to have
been past all that, anyhow. Now they were in a much
better relationship, sans the one night stand they had done
and never mentioned to anyone else.

Kat didn't comment on his ruses at first, far too amused
by the whole thing. Despite the fact they were sticking their
necks out for Smee, they still found time to needle each other,
much like they were siblings of sorts. Which, wasn't accurate,
naturally, but it was still good to think that way at times.

As Kat neared the ship they were going to use, Killian seemed
to mock her again. Yes, she knew and he knew that they
had been together once, and he didn't seem to
find her lacking then, either, but she wasn't going
to tell the crew that, out of respect for him. Instead,
she smiled. "Actually, I think you're the one who wouldn't
be meeting standards, Cap'n. For I have standards, too, and
for all we know, you could be quite..." she paused,
as if trying to think of the right word. "Lacking." She
grinned, knowing that the two were needling each
other out of pure fun. That night, neither of them
found each other lacking, in her opinion, but again
that was a subject not spoken about.
With that, she jumped on the
ship and looked up at him.

"Now who's the one keeping the other waiting, hm?"

Killian scoffed at her suggestion of having standards as well. "That may be so, but yours are significantly lower than mine," he teased. "I hardly need explain it to you love. But let's just say, when it comes to pleasuring the other sex, I easily exceed all standards." His arrogance was easily shining through his words as he did a quick mental check that they had all they needed to embark on the other ship.

Katalina too seemed ready as she stood in the boat, awaiting him. He followed her in, giving a nod to the men to indicate that they were ready to be lowered. "At least try and act endearing to the men on the other ship," he instructed her, the tease still in his voice. "They will be less than charmed by your crude and blunt ways," he added in further mockery, giving last minute pointers to her. He knew she could handle herself; it was just far too tempting an opportunity to forgo.

Katalina rolled her brown eyes at that last tease that Killian made. She decided against commenting, mainly because it was pointless. The bickering would go around in circles, and it was amusing to her that he thought her standards were lower than hers. Besides, their goal was one and the same; get Smee back in one piece. That was something that she could definitely commend Killian on, he certainly was a good captain for agreeing to go into danger to save a crew member that he certainly could have cared less for. Granted, Smee was cared for on the ship, but that was a fleeting thought.

When Killian was giving Katalina commands about what she should do and how she should act, she scoffed. "Please. This isn't the first time I had to use my womanly goods as a distraction." And wasn't that the truth? She could recall a couple other times where she had to rely on her own body to get out of tough situations. She shook her head and laughed ruefully and then lifted her head as they got closer to the ship in question.

Lowering her voice, Katalina said, "I think this is the part where you just dive right in, Cap'n."
