.:Physical Appearance:.
Esmerelda has long raven black hair, and emerald green eyes. She was different from the rest of her family, as they all had eyes that were brown.. aside from her father's which sometimes changed their hue to be blue - depending on the season. Her skin is a natural olive color which hinted at some Greek in her bloodline somewhere, although it was dominated with French.
She usually wears golden hooped earrings, a bracelet on one wrist and a anklet on the opposite ankle. She's also known to wear anything that sparkles, anything that's gold, and bonus points if it chimes when she moves. She also prefers to not wear shoes, so she is likely always seen wandering around with bare feet.

.:Occupation:.
Dancer/Entertainer/Dance Instructor
.:History:.
Esmerelda was born in Notre Dame to unwed gypsy parents named Moira and Fabian. The two of them were incredibly in love, and they couldn't have been happier. They raised Esmerelda to be a strong woman, but also to be empathetic to others. Not only did they raise their daughter, but they also raised Clopin Trouillefou who had been orphaned when he was too young to know them. Esmerelda and Clopin were encouraged as they grew up to be married. Many people told them that they were destined to be together, since they were born only a couple of hours apart.. but the two of them were determined to write their own history.
She grew to be a palm reader, and a performer, like the rest of her clan. Clopin, of course, was attached to her hip as she was to his, down to the day that her mother fell ill with a terminal disease. It was a hard time for Esmerelda when her mother had passed, because since they were so in love, merely thirty minutes after her mother died, her father followed - although he was seemingly healthy. To those who asked, Her father died of a broken heart.. really though, Esmerelda suspected poison.
Although it was a difficult time, she still persevered, and she continued to be strong for her parents..she knew that they'd want her to. Eventually, she and Clopin became the leaders of their band of gypsies. She and Clopin led them to freedom to the Enchanted Forest when Frollo hatched his plan to murder the lot of them. If it wasn't for Clopin, Esmerelda likely wouldn't have gotten a chance to save them all on her own.| ~ • ~ | Sample Post | ~ • ~ |
Life was different in the Enchanted Forest. They'd only just arrived to their new destination, and they were still looking for a camping place to call their own. No one seemed to be using this spot, it was close to a stream, and it was only a few miles away from the nearest village which meant that they could collect some money on the side as well. At the moment, Esmerelda was in charge of collecting some water for the others, so she and Djali, her beloved pet goat, walked to the stream and knelt down with a bucket that she carried with her. It was much easier than filling canteens or flasks.
She hummed a tune as the goat lied down beside her, sipping from the stream. She smiled as she used her free hand to lightly pet Djali. "So this is our new home..for now." She mused after her little song while the bucket filled. It seemed to be taking a long time, though. "What is wrong with this thing?" She asked no one in particular as she lifted the bucket to look it over. She watched with discouragement as water leaked out of the bucket, and she frowned. "Great.." she sighed. "Exactly what I need." Looking at Djali, she pursed her lips. "Next time Clopin is getting the water," she huffed. The goat, nodded in agreement with a little 'Baaaaa' added to it.
