Emily was always in love with the idea of love. She's a very kind, romantic, and affectionate person. There isn't a lot that can make her angry, but she does have a tendency at times to be a little jealous. She always tries to see the best in everything and in everyone, even when everyone else shuns them.

Emily couldn't have asked for anything more. She had beauty that was known from far and wide - just like her mother - and her family was incredibly well off. She had suitors, but none of them had the spark she was looking for. When a stranger came to town, Emily fell hard, and fast for him. His charm, his looks, they were all enough to make Emily swoon. He told her he wanted to elope with her.. to run away, and live with her in the country somewhere. They could start a family..all they would need was a little bit of seed money.
And so, she took her mother's wedding gown and some money that she had saved up on her own. She waited for him on the outskirts of town in the middle of the night. He finally showed up.. and he struck Emily on the head with a blunt object. He left her for dead, burying her crudely in the dirt, leaving one hand sticking out of the ground to rot.
Emily's corpse stayed in the ground, but her spirit was in the Underworld, waiting for the day when her true love would come set her free.
One day, a man put a ring on her finger. He did it unknowingly..he was practicing his vows for another woman, and mistook her hand for a branch. Emily's spirit came to him, though and attempted to take her with him to the underworld to be with her forever. He tricked her though, saying he needed to say goodbye to his parents..when really, he went to see his betrothed. It was an arranged marriage, but he had fallen in love with the woman.
Emily felt miserable. She pined away for another love that was lost.
When the man's betrothed was set to wed another - since her parents didn't want her to be with him, He went to Emily's resting place, apologizing, telling her that he belonged with her. Emily was thrilled.. but there was only one way they could be together truely. He had to die.
They had a ceremony.. Emily was to wed the man named Victor, and he would drink poison to be with her for all eternity. The ceremony was crashed by the woman he loved.. Victoria. She was already married to another, and yet she still loved Victor. Emily refused to let Vicor go through with his poisoning. She wanted him to be with Vicoria. However, her new husband had other plans. Emily recognized him quickly..the man who killed her.
Emily couldn't harm him, even though she wanted to when he mocked her. She simply waited..knowing he was cocky. Sure enough, she managed to trick him in to drinking poison, which resulted in his death. Creatures of the underworld soon descended upon him, and his spirit was no more.
Much to Emily's surprise, Victoria was a powerful witch. She was appreciative for everything that Emily had done to keep her and Victor together. Victoria went to the resting place of Emily, and used a one time only spell that she had kept in an old locket around her neck.. a spell to ressurect a pure soul.
Victoria's only hope for Emily was that she would love again.
Emily didn't get another chance at living before she was pulled in to Storybrooke. She now owns a bridal shop, and she still believes in true love.| ~ • ~ | Member Info | ~ • ~ |
