.:Personality:. Serena is not as crazy as her sister Lucinda, but she is sinister. What she lacks in being psychotic, she makes up for in her wickedness. Serena doesn't give people second chances, she doesn't care. If you've crossed her once and live to tell the tale, you should run. She doesn't give a second thought to ripping someone's heart out of their chest and crushing it in her hand. Most villains have some sort of redemption arc, but Serena doesn't. She enjoys being evil, she enjoys using magic for whatever she wants, and she enjoys making things go her way.

.:History:. Morella was a good light witch, exiled from her family of dark witches who fell in love with a man she shouldn't have. He was a door to door salesman who would stay a bit longer at her door. When Morella had found out she was pregnant with triplets she knew that she needed to try and make her family whole. She pleaded with the man she was in love with to leave his wife. He said that he would. He promised. Though the man never did.

She had to dip into magic that wasn't as light and good as she used to perform. She used a love potion on him. Because love made people do drastic things. Once that was cast in the special batch of muffins she gave him, he left his wife for Morella. And she was happy.

When Serena and her sisters were around 10, their mother had found out the truth about their beloved father. The man seemed to be going door to door and spending time and more than just one house the way he did with Morella. Their mother again needed to go against her light nature, because a broken heart also makes one do crazy things. She dipped into the dark magic again to send a curse to take the lives of the women their father seemed to be having relations with. When their father also succumbed to the poison plague, the town knew who to blame. They knew their mother was dabbling in witch craft and were to kill her.

The girls knew they had to leave. They needed to escape or they too would be tried for witch craft. They took their mother's grimoire with them and also their harsh feelings for the land they were leaving. Serena agreed when Lucinda buried their mothers book of light magic. She wanted nothing to do with that sort of magic. Her heart felt darkened by what had happened to her family, and that darkness only grew as Serena got older.

They sisters learned of their ancestors, and their way of magic as they got older. ANd Serena knew that was the best way to get back at the people who hurt their family. Serena had a special plan for one Thaddeus Binx that she found in her travels. A boy who descended from ancestry that wronged her great aunts. She ripped his heart from his chest, and casted a spell that granted the boy the power to transform into a black cat. Even though she found the irony of it hilarious, it was useful for Binx to be able to slip into placed inconspicuously for her.

She placed his heart in a charmed pendant that she always wore around her neck. Serena and her sister's moved forward with their plans. They would suck the youth from their children gaining their life force to the own to live forever. But the sister's were found out and hung for the crimes. Not before they were able to cast one last curse. They would come back. When someone lit a candle, a virgin. They would be brought back from the dead, and they would be able to get a second chance at life.
