"Okay, everyone, that's it for today! You all were fantastic!" Esmerelda called to her class. She had been teaching the basics to the older folks of Storybrook. She had decided to set up a class that was specifically for senior citizens, and it seemed to be working quite well! Everyone seemed to be in high spirits when they had left her class. "Mrs. Hubbard, you're improving!" She called out as she waved to one of the older women who seemed to be absolutely thrilled at the compliment. Once the rest of the class filed out, Esmerelda walked off to the opposite side of the studio to get a drink of water before warming up for her next class. This one was for general ages, mostly teenagers and up, so it would be a little more advanced. Unlike most dance studios, this particular one had a corner with a soft pet bed and a goat lying on top of it. "What do you think, Djali? Good class, right?" The goat lifted his head, and gave a small nod of agreement before plopping his head back down. Esmerelda shook her head and sighed. "You'd think that you were doing the work here.." She mused with a small laugh. Esmerelda was actually enjoying herself here. She had a nice life, and things were going well...but like a normal gypsy, she had a familar itch to get back on the road again.. to roam..to go somewhere..anywhere.. but now wasn't the time. She had too much to do here...she wanted to put down roots, but it was just far too difficult.. Instructing Outfit!

YOU WON'T LIVE TO TELL THE TALE Clopin could tell by the sudden crowd of elderly women that the dance session was over for the day. He smiled and nodded to them as they left, the women being rather friendly. It was so... odd. Back home, mainly in Notre Dame, people looked to gypsies with fear and sometimes disgust. They were treating badly because of one's man discriminating mindset. But here, no one treated them as such. No one even seemed to notice that they were gypsies. While Clopin was always on the defense, he found it was far less here than back home. He still missed it and the others there, but this place offered a certain... liberty that he had never experienced before.
When all the women left, Clopin grabbed a cold bottle of water, and a fresh towel and made his way to the dance room. There was Esmerelda, sitting with Djali as the goat looked rather tuckered out. With her on the other side of the room, he began to spin around in a circle, again and again and again, until he stood in front of her and lowered himself in a bow, holding out the water bottle and towel for her to take. When she did, he stood up straight once more, folding his arms across his chest and raising an eyebrow at he looked at Djali.
"You need to stop working him so hard," Clopin said teasingly to Esmerelda and he turned his head to look at her once more. "Today marks another success in your newfound calling. The women seemed quite happy with their lessons." Praise where it was earned, not that he had any doubts about Esmerelda being a capable teacher. She was of course the most talented and gifted dancer the world had to offer, even this one.
delusional.

Thankfully, in her time of need, her closest friend was there with a cold bottle of water and a towel to dry her brow. "You, Clopin Trouillefou, are my hero." She mused as she kissed his cheek and took the bottle and towel gratefully. She draped the towel over the back of her neck, and took a long drink of water that was almost spat out when he spoke of her poor little Djali being worked to hard. "You're so right. I really should give him a break." She laughed and placed the water and towel on the floor where it was out of the way.
When he complimented her on her success for the day, she gave him a smile. "Thanks, Clopin... I really appreciate it. But.. there's a slight problem." She took a deep breath, and leaned back against one of the dance bars. "I'm wanting to run again. I don't know if it's because I feel too comfortable, or if it's because I just want to explore something.. but I feel like I need to run. I don't want to... I really like it here..but I need..-more-.. you know?" She knew that he knew. If anyone understood, it was Clopin. The two of them thought a lot alike, after all.
"I hope I can shake it somehow.. I don't want to leave this place. I have my own dance studio, I have my own apartment.. I just feel a little cooped up, is all." She paused for a moment, then quietly laughed and shook her head. "And.. now i'm unloading on you. Sorry about that.."
