This was just what Emma had needed. She and Henry were living in their own place now, even though Henry was spending a lot of time with Regina lately. It didn't bother her so much, though.. She knew that he was trying to balance his time the best way possible. Besides, someone else had been spending a lot of time in her new apartment: Hook. Again, something she didn't mind. In fact, as much as it made her feel strange to think it, Hook being there felt comfortable, and right. The first few nights in the new apartment would have been a lot more difficult without him. It was nice though, for her, and likely for Snow and Charming who could have their alone time while little Neal was sleeping. It was just a better set up all around.
Since things felt so comfortable and perfect, Emma decided to ask Hook a question. Not -the- big question, but one that was equal to it in Emma's eyes. This was likely why she was so nervous. She always needed her own space.. but after living with her family she was getting more used to accepting others in to her bubble. Tonight, she would ask Hook to move in with her, and she wasn't sure what the outcome would be. It made sense, that this was the next move.. he was there most nights, and she very much cared about him. In fact, although neither had actually said the words yet, she loved him. To celebrate the occasion, Emma watched a cooking show all day to figure out how to cook the perfect home made spaghetti sauce.
Unfortunately.. it didn't work, and so she had to get the store bought kind. ..That also didn't work, so it was take out from Granny's. Still feeling accomplished that she tried, Emma managed to save a little bit of face by using her own grated Parmesan cheese on top of the pasta that she had ordered to take home. She placed the pasta on plates, and had everything set up nicely, even with candle light. And she was wearing a dress! It was a big deal. She took a deep breath, and she stood at the table, making finishing touches while waiting for Killian.

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT Things were going wonderfully for the pirate and the princess. Emma had gotten her own place, which allowed them to spend more time together, away from everyone else. Though even while others were there . . . there was still a comfort. It had certainly helped that the two of them were finally finding time to just, be together and get to know each other in ways that time nor circumstance had previously provided.
The level of domesticity was incredibly comfortable and Hook found himself spending more and more time here, with her. With the woman he loved. He knew he was in love with her . . . he'd known it some time ago. He'd not said the words though. He was well aware that he needed to move at a pace that Emma was comfortable with and he would not push nor pressure her to do anything outside of that comfort zone. But each day he saw her, each moment he spent with her, he fell more in love with her.
Tonight, he was going over to her apartment for dinner. He had brought a bouquet of flowers for the occasion, though suspected that this was just a casual dinner where they too advantage of the fact that Henry would be over at Regina's and Emma did not have to work. Just a quiet evening at home, which was often quite needed considering her line of work and how much chaos tended to befall Storybrooke. Dressing in his usual modern attire, he knocked on the door and soon enough, Emma opened it. Killian looked at her, surprised for a moment as his eyes looked over her, his lips slightly parting. When he finally snapped out of it, he softly smiled.
"You look exquisite, Swan" he stated, in awe of her beauty. While she always looked beautiful tonight she was wearing a dress and that was a rather rare occasion. He noticed in the background that she had also set up dinner in a rather . . . romantic way. Candles, a set table . . . was he missing something? He suddenly remembered the flowers and extended them to her as he stepped inside her home. "All this for me, eh?" He said teasingly, taking in the sight of the setting and the mood it created. "Is there an occasion I should be made aware of and therefore be asking your forgiveness for not remembering?" He asked, only half kidding because . . . well, this was certainly a surprise. A wonderfully pleasant one at that, but still a surprise.

Although she was a ball of nervousness, Emma couldn't help but smile when she saw Killian standing at the door, holding flowers for her. The smile grew even wider whens he saw the surprised look on his face, induced likely by her attire for the evening. "You look pretty amazing yourself." He always did.. In his modern clothing, in the pirate clothes.. in nothing.. No matter what he wore - or didn't wear - he could always take her breath away. She stepped aside so that he could come in, and she took the flowers to the kitchen to put themm in a vase that her mother had given her when she moved out of their place.
When Killian questioned if there was an occasion he was missing, she laughed. "No," she shook her head as she filled the vase with water. "Nothing like that.. I just wanted to make a nice dinner for us. And..then when I burnt everything, I ordered us a nice dinner from Granny's." She finished placing the flowers in the vase and she placed them on the table. They made a nice addition to everything else that decorated it. "Have a seat, we've got plenty of food." She ordered extra that she had in the fridge in case they wanted seconds..even though Emma was sure that she was too nervous to eat what was in front of her in the first place. "Before we eat, though.. I have a gift for you." She picked up a black box from the table, and held it out to him. She waited for him to open it, and see the key, before she asked her question. "That's definitely what you think it is.. And.. I was wondering if you wanted to move in with me."

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT She told him that he looked amazing and he gave an arrogant smile. "I know," he said with joking arrogance. Once he was inside her apartment he could get a better view of everything. He walked up to the table as she put the flowers in a vase and fill it with water as she explained that there was no occasion, but that she had wanted them to have a nice dinner. Furthermore she said that she had tried to cook something. That brought a smile to Killian's lips for he knew that it was not a frequent occurrence for her to do this . . . and he immensely appreciated the effort and sentiment. He also liked that they were ordering in rather than going out. It was more intimate. Gave them more time to spend alone together.
"I'm sure it wasn't that bad, Swan. Nothing made by your hands could be," he said flirtatiously. Besides, he was used to eating all sorts of rubbish food throughout his adventures in the other realm. He highly doubted her cooking was even remotely near the same poor standard. Besides, he wanted her to know that he was grateful for the attempt. It meant more to him than he could say. She urged him to have a seat and he pulled out the chair for her first so that she could sit before he took his own seat across from her.
She was certainly right about that; there was an abundance of food. His attention was shifted however when she said she had a gift for him. "You really are spoiling me, love," he said with a teasing smile. "But by no means do I want you to stop," he added more jokingly. He proceeded to open the small box, revealing a key. He just stared at it for a moment, for her words were perfectly timed along with the revelation of the gift.
"I was wondering if you wanted to move in with me." He just stared at the key, as if he was in some sort of daze. He knew her better than to think this was some odd joke . . . he also knew that she wouldn't offer this, unless she was completely certain. Which was why he would not ask if she was sure. In fact, he didn't know what to say right now. All words seemed to flee his mind as he just looked at the box and seeing what it symbolized. He was unsure how much time had passed until he looked up at Emma.
"Come here," he requested softly. As she rose to her feet and came over, he gently pulled her toward him so that she was sitting on his lap on a side angle rather than directly forward. He took a few moments to just look at her, his lips curving into a soft smile to match the tone he had just spoke in. Words could not fully describe how much he loved her and this . . . the key, the question, everything . . . it meant the world to him.
He made no attempt to guard his expression and wanted all his love and adoration to be known to her, for right now, words were clearly failing him. His hand went to her cheek, gently caressing it as he continued to lightly smile, his eyes filled with emotion. He had held himself back for quite some time, knowing he shouldn't say those words that could scare her off. That he should keep them to himself, and show her through actions rather than tell her verbally. But right now, in this moment, he couldn't resist. He was only so strong and with what she had just asked him . . . he wanted to -- needed to -- make his feelings known to her.
"I love you, Emma Swan," he told her, using her first and last name. Despite the fact that he most commonly referred to her as the latter, he wanted to use her full name now, to add sentiment and sincerity to his words. He wouldn't even be upset if she didn't return the words; her actions spoke louder. Giving her that out should she need it, he leaned forward, his lips touching hers as he kissed her softly yet passionately. It wasn't an overly heated kiss, but one that matched his words expression his eternal and unconditional love for her.

His compliment on her burnt cooking didn't fall on deaf ears. "That's very sweet of you.. but you'd be singing a different tune if you would have smelled this place before I lit all the candles. I know the fire alarm works, so that's a plus." She mused with a grin. She had sat down after he pulled out the chair for her, and when she held the gift out to him, he spoke of her spoiling him..and not to stop. Oh that arrogance. She smiled even wider, and rolled her eyes playfully. "Don't worry, you can spoil me right back. I won't stop you." She teased. She watched intently as he opened the box.. She wondered in the back of her mind what would have happened should he have said no.. But instead, she saw something in his eyes. Something that told her that No wasn't the answer.
The only thing he had said to her was 'come here.' How could she resist that request? She stood up from her chair, and walked toward him. She was pulled down to his lap, and she was absolutely okay with that. The two of them gazed in to each other's eyes for what seemed like an eternity of bliss before Killian spoke to her. He said those words that the two of them had felt, but both feared to say. 'I love you, Emma Swan.' The words made her feel as if she were weightless. As if she could float away in to the clouds at any moment. She was about to speak to him.. to return the words, but her lips were captured in a kiss. She could feel the love that he felt for her pouring through it.. and she hoped that the kiss she returned interpreted the same. However, she very slowly, and rather reluctantly, broke the kiss, and brushed her lips very lightly against his. "I love you, Killian Jones." She whispered. She had wanted to say it for so long.. and this seemed like the perfect time to do so. "So.." she started with a grin. "Is that a Yes?"

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT Fire alarm? What was that? He didn't ask. He only knew that her cooking would have still been by far, better than some of the poor excuse for food he'd had in the past. She also gave him permission to spoil her, something that he would indeed do any chance he got. She was not one who enjoyed the spoils of riches and gold though; with her, it had to be about sentiment. About something that money could not necessarily buy. But all this was set aside as the two shared this intimate moment. She responded to the kiss, and as she pulled away, whispered the same words in return. They were enough to make his heart swell with so much emotion, that he would hardly be surprised if it burst.
He had not wanted her to feel forced to say the words, but they fell from her lips so effortlessly. To know that he was the man she fell in love with and confessed this to . . . well, how could he possibly even begin to express what this meant to him? She meant everything. She was his everything. He just looked at her affectionately, everything he could possibly say in this moment seeming inadequate. Thankfully, she broke the silence and offered words of slight teasing. "Aye," he responded quietly, but with words were sure, confident, not a trace of doubt or hesitation in his mind. He needed to try to collect himself so that he didn't look like some dumbfounded fool . . . even though it already may be too late for that.
He doubted he would ever fully break out of this state, but he finally found the words to speak to return her own. "But I may need some convincing tonight," he added with a playful smile, completely joking of course. He didn't need to think twice about her answer. Despite his tease, he still felt the need to properly assure her that this was what he wanted. She was what he wanted. "To wake up beside you every morning, and fall asleep at your side every night, would be the greatest honor," he told her sincerely. He wanted her to be the first person he saw when he woke up and the last he saw before he went to bed. And now, she was allowing that to happen.

It wasn't as terrifying as she thought it would be, to say those words that she'd been carrying around in her heart for so long. In fact, they rolled off her tongue so easily that it was a little alarming. She was startled at how easily she could tell someone she loved them.. she felt so much lighter now. So free. "Don't worry, by the way," she mused, suddenly remembering that there was someone else they lived with. "Henry already knows, and he's on board with the idea. I think he kinda likes you." She teased him a small smile. Henry seemed to like this side of Emma.. it made her a believer in everything. He seemed proud that both Regina and Emma were finding their mutual happy places.
Emma's smile brightened when he told her that the kiss was a yes..but then he teased that he might need some convincing. She lowered her lips to his neck, gently kissing the side of it. "I'm fairly certain I can convince you," she whispered suggestively. His tone turned sweet when he spoke of how he'd be honored to go to sleep beside her, and wake up beside her every day.. she felt the same way. "Likewise, Killian." She whispered once more against his neck as she rested her head on his shoulder. "You said it first before.. so it's my turn. I love you." She wanted to say it over and over now.. she had been keeping it inside for so long, that she felt as though she could shout it from the roof.
"You could move in tonight, if you want to..."

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT She then told him not to worry, for Henry was alright with the idea. Hook hadn't entirely forgotten about the little lad. He also knew Emma would not do anything without considering the boy's feelings. Hook smiled when she said that Henry liked him, rather relieved for her. He was quite aware that should he and Henry not get along, then it could very well be a reason Emma couldn't be with Hook . . . but fortunately, they would not have to explore option. Killian's mind went back to when Henry's memories had still be erased and he and the boy had some time to bond. It seemed that it had been remembered for it helped strengthen whatever bond they had now. Which was strong enough to allow him to move in.
"I'm quite fond of the boy," Killian told her, not wanting her to have any doubts about that. "I assure you, I will take care of him like he was my own." Not that Hook knew the first thing about being a father, but he had enough protective instinct to take care of him. Just as he had once hoped to do so with Bae . . . or Neal, when he had just been a boy. Truth be told, ever since engaging in a life of piracy, the only time Killian had remotely considered children, was when he was with Milah. Other than that, he had never wanted the responsibility. But he knew moving in with Emma wasn't just about being with her . . . it was also taking care of Henry, which Killian was more than willing to do.
She then began to kiss his neck, saying that she could easily convince him -- which he knew she could and would, if he had indeed needed convincing. He closed his eyes, allowing himself to bask in the sensation of her lips. He couldn't even joke about it right now, for his mind was too consumed with everything; the offer she had made and the words she said to him. "Aye," he agreed in a low voice, trying to regain his senses. "And let's see how many lights we take out in the process," he added, a little shout out to their first time together where she had knocked out the lights in her family's flat. He had intentionally pushed her to it, and enjoyed every second of it.
She then rested her head against his shoulder, as he wrapped his arms around her, slightly turning his head to the side to let his lips rest against the side of her head in a lingering embrace. Hearing her say the words again . . . he couldn't even describe what it felt like. His heart swelled with so much emotion, and he wished he could do more for her, offer more to her, to express the gratitude and honor he felt in being the man that she loved and let into her home and more importantly, her heart. "And I love you," he returned, the words causing a smile on his lips as he loved hearing them as much as he loved being able to say them. "I have for some time now," he added, knowing it was no secret. Not since their venture to Neverland. So many had believed Emma could not love him; Pan, her father, Rumple . . . so many others.
"I will never grow tired of saying it. Just as I won't tire of hearing it," he told her in a quiet voice, letting the words play over and over in his mind, still afraid that this was just some incredible dream he would be awakening from soon. Her offer to move in tonight, caused him to bring his hand to her cheek and gently move her head so that she could meet his gaze. "I would love to," he said softly, tenderly kissing her on the lips and then her forehead. Besides, it wasn't as if he had a lot of belongings. He could easily gather them in one trip to the bed and breakfast, more than happy at the idea of never needing to return and starting his new life with the woman he loved.

Emma enjoyed the fact that Killian and Henry got along so well. She imagined it was because even with Regina, Henry never really had a father figure until Neal was back in his life again..and now that Neal was gone, he had nothing. It made her feel better to know that Hook could be that man for him. Well..one of those men. Regina now had Robin, who had a son of his own. It made her feel a little warm and fuzzy inside to know that there was so much happiness around Storybrooke..finally. "I know you are.. and I know you will." She gave him a small, tender kiss on the lips. Of course he'd treat him like his own. From what she understood he was pretty good with kids. He treated Neal like his own for quite some time. ...As Emma thought more about it, it made her head hurt, so she quickly side-stepped away from all of the spider web of relationships that everyone in Storybrooke had. There were just too many connections.
The conversation had shifted slightly so that they were now talking about taking out all of the lights once she started to 'convince' him to move in with her. "Oooh no," she mused teasingly. "Candlelight all the way. No popping lights out..bulbs are expensive." She paused for a moment, and spoke again, thinking better of her idea. "Actually, maybe lights would be better. Bulbs are a lot cheaper than fixing a house after a fire." She grinned and lifted a hand to lightly stroke the back of his hair with her fingertips. While he spoke of how he'd loved her, and he had for a long time, she was quiet until he had finished..and then she admitted the feelings she'd been hiding. "I've felt the same way for a long time too.. I was just hiding from it. I kind of have a tendency to do that. You though.. you just shattered those walls." Absolutely destructed them, without a problem.
Those three words were so important to her...they meant so much. She was relieved that she wasn't wearing them out by continuing to say them. He agreed to move in that night, and she was sure it wouldn't take long.. Hook didn't exactly have many belongings to her knowledge. "Good.." she smiled, leaning back to gaze in to his eyes, watching the flames from the candles flicker and dance in them.. It made his eyes even more enthralling. "I'm glad."

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT She expressed her confidence in his ability to take care of Henry, though he was distracted from all though or response when her lips lightly touched him. He would never grow sick of the sensation of her lips against his . . . not after how long he had awaited her kiss. And here they were now, moving in together. When she pulled away she responded to his tease regarding taking out the lights, and then went on to suggest candlelight . . . and how bulbs were expensive. He assumed, based on the context of their conversation, that bulbs were what went into the lights and where what shattered the night they made love for the first time. "But it is so worth the expense," he said teasingly, though with truth.
He gave a slight chuckle at her debating which was the better option, giving reasons as to why bulbs may in fact be better after all. "While your confidence in my capabilities is intriguing --" Meaning whether he could actually take her to that point of starting of a fire, which was oddly arousing, minus the dangers of it. "I would rather keep our home in tact." Our home. Their home. Together. The use of the word filled him with excitement as it became more and more real that they would be living together. It was such a wonderful thought and Killian could not wait to start his life with her in this way.
She admitted that she too had felt the same way for some time, and that she had been hiding it. "You certainly are a stubborn one, Swan," he teased her, though he knew full well as to why she had such a huge guard up. He was all too grateful that she had allowed him into her heart though; that she had shattered these walls she put up around the world. "But you were worth the wait," he added sincerely. Every agonizing moment without her . . . was worth it for what they had now. "I'm glad you allowed me to do so," he added, referring to her letting him shatter her walls, as he felt the need to express his gratitude in this.
He too was glad. So very glad. "I will get my belongings tomorrow," he told her, for as he previously established, he did not have many belongings. Besides, he didn't want to think of departing from her company right now. Not with how wonderful it felt to be sitting with her, to have her leaned against him, and her hand running through his hair. Everything about this moment was utter perfection. "For tonight, I would rather celebrate and in doing so, do not want to spend a single moment without you." He was of course assuming Henry was elsewhere for the night, because Killian wanted to spend tonight with her. Only her.

With Emma's new found way of cutting out electricty, she thought that it might be better if they lived like the Amish for awhile. It would definitely save on electricty. And then a thought hit her. "It is worth the expense.. Unless.. well, I imagine we'll be celebrating a lot.. we better be careful that the entire block doesn't get cut out." It was mostly a joke but.. was it actually a possibility? Something told her that Killian was going to want to give that a try, so quickly, she jumped in to derail his train of thought. "And no, that wasn't a challenge.." she grinned.
Luckily he told her that he'd rather keep their home intact, and she breathed a sigh. "Okay.. that's a relief." She spoke teasingly. They both knew that she'd never really leave flames like that lit if she couldn't control them. Especially now.. now that she had a new apartment and it belonged to her, Henry, and Killian. They were becoming a family, and if Emma allowed herself to think about it too much, it would probably scare her..but she didn't think that much anymore. She merely felt..and what she felt for him was more than anything she could have ever imagined.
He called her stubborn..and he was absolutely right. "It's part of my charm.." she teased, fluttering her lashes. "It's why you tried so hard." That probably wasn't the -only- reason, but she was sure that he was in it at first for the thrill of the chase..at least partially.. and then it turned in to oh, so much more. "You're worth it too, Killian. My heart belongs to you." He told her that he'd get his belongings the following day, and that tonight he wanted to spend it with just the two of them. A smile curved on Emma's lips.. she already had it set up that it was possible. "Henry is at Regina's for the weekend, so i'm all yours." She lifted her gaze to the ceiling, and let her eyes drift around. "All of this.. is all yours. Ours."

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT She suggested the possibility of their actions causing her to cut the eletricity from the entire block and he opened his mouth to respond to the words. However, she knew him too well and cut him off with the very thought that had entered his mind: he would have certainly taken it as a challenge, but she beat him to it. So instead, he just smiled innocently, actually liking the fact that she knew him well enough to know what he was thinking and what he had been about to say. "Well played, Swan," he commended, his voice playful as he acknowledged her victory in saying the words first.
She then went on to say that her stubbornness was a part of her charm. He couldn't quite disagree with that. "That it is," he agreed. And his agreement extended to her following words as well, referring to why he had tried so hard. "I have never pursued a woman as much as I did you," he told her truthfully. He had even said, right before he followed her -- after she got sucked in -- into the portal that took them back in time, that one day, he would stop chasing this woman. But he knew that wasn't true. "While I do enjoy a good challenge, as you well know, I also could not wait until you accepted me into your heart." Whether she had feelings for him before or not, it was all about acceptance . . . allowing herself to love and be loved. "And here we are now," he added, unable to imagine himself any happier. He knew what the next step for them was, however he was not even going to consider it right now. He was just going to bask in the enjoyment of imaging living with her . . . which was now a reality.
She told him that she had been worth it, that her heart belonged to him. "As mine is yours," he told her with sincere affection and devotion. She then revealed that Henry was at Regina's for the weekend . . . which just added to the enjoyment of all this. Of course he liked the boy, but the amount of time he and Emma spent alone together was far too seldom. And now, they had the entire weekend to celebrate and enjoy the meaning of living together. "I'll be sure to use you wisely," he said teasingly, not planning to waste a second with her. She was high in demand in this town -- she was the savior after all -- but he wanted her to have some sort of normality in her life.
He wanted her to enjoy being a woman in love and loved by a man so ardently. She deserved that, and he wanted her to see and understand just how much. His lips curved into a smile as he briefly glanced around the area, but his eyes quickly returned to her, the most beautiful sight in all the worlds and realms. "I quite like the sound of that. Ours." Theirs. Ours. It showed a strong unity between them, one that would not be so easily broken. Especially with what was said tonight and what was offered in terms of these new living arrangements. "I don't think I've ever been happier, Swan," he admitted to her. "Thank you." Because he owed her -- and no one else -- his happiness.

Emma had a grin playing on her lips when he complimented her. Oh yes, she knew him too well, and he knew her the same. She supposed that it's why they just worked.. They didn't really fight, because they could read each other so easily. They knew if the other needed space, or just needed to be alone for a minute. They just had a connection between them that couldn't be denied...which is likely one of the reasons why she decided to give in, and let her heart decide something for her for a change. She knew that he had never pursued a woman like he had with her, which is one of the things that made her feel so special. "I'm glad I finally let myself let you in.. Otherwise i'd be alone and miserable, wishing that I would have done something different." But she didn't have to think about that anymore.. Because she was with Killian..and she was happy. Truly happy.
They spoke of how their hearts belonged to one another and she could tell that it was all leading to the two of them gazing in to each other's eyes all night and letting the food get cold..but she was incredibly okay with it. He told her he'd use her wisely since Henry was gone for the weekend, and a wicked grin crossed her lips. "I have no doubt that you will, Killian," she mused playfully. Of course she loved Henry being around, and she really wanted he and Killian to bond more, but she was being selfish and wanted him to herself for the first couple of days. "I plan to do the same to you." It wasn't a tease.. it was a promise.
Ours. The word still rang in her ears even though she was the one who had said it.. it sounded wonderful. Especially when it came out of his mouth, as well. "I like the sound of it, too." She'd never shared anything this personal with a romantic partner. Even with Neal, they simply hopped from hotel to hotel.. they didn't really own anything together. This was her and Killian's apartment.. the first real, huge step. He thanked her for the happiness he felt, and as she gazed in to his eyes, she felt a small sting of tears that had suddenly misted over her eyes. "I should be thanking you, Killian," she spoke with a slightly trembling voice. "I never thought I could love someone so intensely again..."

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT She told him that she was glad she let him in, for the alternative would have been her being alone and miserable, as well as having regret . . . a feeling that could be quite tormenting. Killian gave a soft smile at her, placing his hand on her cheek. "I don't believe you were ever destined for loneliness and misery, Swan." Even if he had not been the one she chose to be with, he was certain there would be another. She was far too great a person to have such a discouraging fate. Hook on the other hand, had believed that he was destined for such things. After losing Milah, he didn't think it possible to love again. But Emma had proved him completely wrong.
She then went on to say that she had no doubt in him doing so, and that she would return the favor. He could only smirk at that, his heart racing with desire for exploring just how true they would be to their words this weekend. "Glad to hear it is a mutual arrangement," he teased, though he was indeed happy for it. She then told him that she should be the one thanking him; that she never thought she could love someone so intensely against. "I know the feeling, lass," he admitted in a low voice, recalling the revelation of this in his confession in Neverland when they were in the caves. "For I too, never thought it possible." After Milah. To know she felt the same, well, words could not express what it truly meant to him or how it made him feel.
Instead, he merely found her lips again with his own, kissing her tenderly, passionately. Slowly pulling away but hardly keeping any distance between them, his lips curved into a smile. "Shall we eat now," he suggested, his lips moving along her cheek and making their way to her neck as he kissed her along it. Speaking in a low voice he continued, keeping his lips somewhat near her ear though pausing in between each kiss only to get the words out. "Or just skip to dessert?" And clearly, it wasn't food that was on the menu for dessert.

Of course Emma had a little bit of a fear of falling in love..but she was glad she was allowing herself to do so with Hook. However, even though she very much enjoyed the sentimental conversation, she was already starting to feel as though she were ready to take the 'talk' in to the bedroom.. But that could have been because of the way he stared in to her eyes a certain way, while touching her in just the right ways, and saying the right things..it was a combination of things that had driven her absolutely wild without him even realizing he was doing it. Somehow, she managed to keep her composure, and she focused on what he was saying. She was never destined for misery.. Well, she would have argued that a year or so ago. "You weren't either, apparently.." she reminded him with a small grin.
They had both knew the feeling of loving someone hand having their hearts broken. It was a wonderful feeling to know that her heart was safe, and that she could allow herself to be comfortable loving someone, and she was sure that he had felt the same. She wanted to tell him how much she loved him yet again..but he knew. She simply lifted a hand, and lightly caressed his cheek with the back of her knuckles. She said nothing until he asked if she wanted to eat now.. or skip straight to desert. How was she supposed to deny a request like that? Especially when his lips were caressing her cheek, and then her jawline, while he whispered against her ear. "Well..." she spoke softly. "Now that you mention it.. I do have a bit of a sweet tooth.." She returned his suggestive tone.
