The mood seemed to shift yet again. This time, there was an easy feeling in the room. It was as though she could say anything. The conversation just rolled, and it was a great feeling. "I would have missed them, i'm sure. But everything has a way of working itself out, right?" She grinned. "Who knows what would have happened there. All I know is that we're here, and it's time to make a story for ourselves." He made a point when he asked if she would be able to fall in love with him while he was what he used to be. She laughed and lifted a hand to her head, scratching her forehead lightly. "Y'know.. I would have said absolutely not, but he's still you. And I gotta admit, the cockiness was kinda hot. I can't doubt it." She was still giggling. It was strange to be so happy for such a large amount of time. A whole evening so far.. it was wonderful.
She closed her eyes for a moment when he pushed her hair behind her ear, and then she opened them again, lightly squeezing his hand that was holding her's. "Thank you," she spoke in a tone of voice just above a whisper. "And even though you were a pirate there.. even if you are still now, I still think that you're a better man than any prince that would ever come to court me. Or..however people dated in the Enchanted Forest." She leaned forward, allowing herself to completely let herself go..to pull her walls down.. or at least to let Killian pull them down for her. "So what happens next in our story?" She asked as she leaned a little closer, closing the gap between the two of them, and brushing her lips gently against his as her eyes fluttered closed.

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT She was certainly right about that. Things definitely had a way of working themselves out. It was a fun circumstance to imagine, but he would not have traded it for what they had now. After all they had been through, and how each experience had strengthened their bond . . . he valued what they shared, more than he was ever capable of expressing. "Indeed," he said in agreement regarding her words of them being here, and making a story for themselves. "And our story is only just beginning." Because no more would there be any betrayal; he would not lie or cheat her, or give her reason to doubt his loyalties. He was utterly devoted to her and wanted her to always know that. Hell, even her parents seemed to coming around to that fact and he loved her far too much to do anything to threaten what they had.
He gave a small but genuine smile when she said the arrogance was attractive. "So that was how I won you over, eh?" He said teasingly, knowing it was far more than that, but was just playing along with the tease and light hearted moment that they were sharing. She then thanked him, and spoke of how he was better than any prince she would have otherwise meant. The words made his heart swell with emotions, for she was able to see him for who he really was. She could see into his soul and past the man who was a villainous pirate. She saw him as Killian, not Hook. And not many -- if any -- were able to do that. Not only because he didn't let them, but because he felt so strongly for Emma, and letting her go had not been easy to do. He would not make that same mistake again. Her words had filled him with so many feelings that he hadn't even realized he had remained silent, until she spoke again, and her next words and actions, thoroughly distracted him from all else.
For she asked what happened next in their story and then leaned toward him, lightly brushing her lips against his. His eyes did not fully close, for he wished to see her, her beauty so mesmerizing. He pressed his lips closer to hers, kissing her softly, basking in all she made him feel that felt intense each and every time they touched. He slowly brought the kiss to an end, but his lips were less than an inch apart from hers. Only enough to speak; to answer her question. "That, is entirely up to you," he told her in a low voice, hardly above a whisper. He knew he had to stay in control of himself, not wanting to ruin tonight by presuming too much, but he was also threatening to lose himself . . . trying to remind his mind to remain slow. And he couldn't entirely blame his hand for this either. It was his heart, his mind, his body and soul that wanted to be with her, in all aspects of the word. His lips went to cheek, and lower, lightly moving along her neck and creating a trail of light and tender kisses as his lips brushed along her exposed shoulder thanks to the style of dress she wore tonight.

Something about Killian could take her breath away like no one could. Sure she had been in love before, but it was..different with him somehow. It was a comfort to know that their story was only beginning. It made her a little unnerved to think of what could possibly happen.. if she was indeed cursed, was she marking Killian for death? Or something even worse if she fell in love with him? Her own selfish heart was forcing her to let this continue. They were now past the point of no return. She grinned when he asked if his arrogance was how he won her over. "Oh, definitely." she teased back, laughing. There was so much more to it though..and they both knew it. The truth was, they were both out of place. She was a princess who was a bounty hunter.. he was once a Pirate who did horrible things - and now he was dating the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. Nothing made sense..but she loved it.
As his lips trailed over her cheek bone, and then her neck and collarbone, she tilted her head slightly to the side, granting him access to her skin. The worst thing that could happen right now was for one of her family members to walk in unannounced. Well...they had to, really. It was their house. She lifted a hand and lightly tapped his shoulder. "As much as I hate to stop you from doing that.. my parents or Henry could walk in any minute." She could feel that electricity running through her bloodstream once more. "You could stay..um." She cleared her throat. "If you want. We'll have more privacy in my room..." She really needed to get an apartment of her own. "Where we can talk more about that fairy tale."

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT It was a good thing one of them was thinking rationally. Because the moment their lips had touched, all else fled his mind and he allowed his heart to dictate his actions. He was not thinking about where they were of the chance that anyone could walk in on them. He was only thinking of the beautiful woman in front of him, and how much he loved her. So it took him a few additional moments to recover when she tapped his shoulder and broke the silence by pulling them back into reality. He forced his mouth from her skin, folding his lips inward to savor her taste as his eyes remained closed for a few seconds before opening them and meeting her gaze. "Ah yes. That would be rather unfavorable." For Snow, David, or Henry to come in to them doing, this. Especially her boy.
But then she provided another option, which caused hope to fill him. Hope, that perhaps she wanted this too. That she wanted to take this, them, to the next step. To fully embrace the nature of their relationship. He of course wanted this, of that there was no doubt. And ordinarily, he wouldn't have given it a second thought and just have gone upstairs with her to continue this. However . . . he had to be better than that. Even if she offered the opportunity, he didn't want to ruin this. He didn't want her to regret it. He closed his eyes again for a moment, swallowing so that he could hold back the passion he felt for her that made him want her in all the physical ways. Opening his eyes he looked at her.
"Are you sure you're ready for this, Swan?" He asked, aware that she had just said they could speak of the fairy tale. He merely wanted to ensure that once they were up there, he did not make her feel pressured. "Because I am happy to really just continue our conversation. Or simply hold you for the rest of the night, if you prefer to take things more slowly." It was about spending time with her, unlike most other encounters he had had with woman. But Emma of course was like no other. He had waited for her this long, and he could wait longer until she was ready for that next step. No matter how long it took, he would always be here for her and whatever she needed from him.

She appreciated the way he wanted to take things slow. At her pace. But this was her way of telling him that she was ready for the next level in their relationship. It was time that she locked her pride and fear away and threw away the key. The chemistry between them was intense, and there was absolutely no ignoring it at this point. She lifted a hand and gently touched his cheek. "I want this, Killian. I'm a big girl.. I can handle it." She gave him a small grin. "C'mon, pirate." She stood up from the couch and held out a hand. "Follow me."
There were two beers just sitting there on coasters on the table, with very little drank from them. It wouldn't take a rocket scientist to know that if there were two bottles there, and Hook and Emma were nowhere to be found - downstairs, at least - that they were up in her room. And even though she was a fully grown woman, she still wanted to at least slightly cover up her tracks. "Uh.. actually.. one second." She rushed toward the bottles, dumped them, and put the bottles with the recycling. She then hurried back to Hook again, and smiled nervously. "Sorry about that. I just didn't really want my father grilling me about.. well.. It'd be uncomfortable." Once again she held out her hand. "Let's go work on that fairy tale, Captain." She gave him a small grin, and started to lead him up the stairs to her bedroom.

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT He watched her intently as she raised her hand to his cheek, the action causing him immediate comfort. Such as it always did whenever they made any sort of physical contact. Her words were wonderful to hear, as they revealed that she too wanted this. That she was ready for it. It meant a great deal to him for he knew it was not easy for her. She had once told him to be patient and every step they took forward, was well worth any waiting that was required. He would wait even a lifetime for her, as she was worth every single moment of it. He smiled and rose to her feet when she did, telling him to follow her. He reached out his hand about to take the one she offered, but then paused when she told him to wait for a moment. He watched as she quickly disposed of the evidence of their time spent here on the couch, and he continued to smile. "That is probably for the best," he agreed. He was already thinking of how he would have to sneak out without anyone hearing him leave. "I second that," he added, regarding her father grilling her. Because . . . well, knowing David he would probably question Killian as well, just as he was doing at whichever opportunity he gained.
"Your father already likes to question my intentions. Best not give him more reason to do so." By seeing drinks out on the table and wondering if Killian had had too much to drink. But no. Not tonight. He had wanted to remember every second of their date, and ensure he was in the proper state of mind. When she offered her hand once more, he took it in his, walking closely to her as she led them upstairs. "What shall I expect of your bedroom decor?" He began to ask, a teasing in his voice which went along with his next words as well. "Pink butterflies and unicorns?" He said jokingly as he smiled at the thought, fully aware that she wasn't quite that kind of woman or princess.

She couldn't really blame David for questioning Killian's intentions. Not just because of the whole pirate thing, but the fact that David wasn't there for Emma's teenage years to threaten boyfriends, so now he was making up for lost time, even when she was nearly thirty years old. "Don't worry..he knows I can handle myself." Which was true, but it didn't mean that he wasn't going to grill anyone who wanted to court her now. He was still first and foremost her father. It was just a little weird now since they were practically the same age.
She led him upstairs to her room, shaking her head and scoffing when he asked if he should be expecting unicorns and pink butterflies. "No. Definitely not." Although because it was Snow's house, it indeed had a slightly frilly touch. It wasn't incredibly girly, but it was definitely more feminine than Emma would have liked. However, the room just screamed Emma..anyone who walked by it would immediately be known who's room it was. There was a jacket - her red jacket -on a hanger outside of her closet door.. There was paperwork all over the place.. and well, she wasn't exactly incredibly tidy apparently because there were several outfits on her bed. Clearly she had trouble deciding what to wear. "Well.. here it is. I wasn't really planning on company tonight..can you tell?" She scrambled to start picking up clothes from the bed, so that she could hang them in her closet. She would deal with the paperwork later. It was mostly stuff about Anna for Elsa, and Elsa had copies anyway. Besides, the papers weren't in the way..they were mostly on her desk.

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT She told him that her father was aware that she could handle herself and that much was true. Most everyone knew that she could and those that didn't, severely underestimated her capabilities. Killian had done so the first time they met, and he would never make such a foolish mistake again. He also couldn't blame her father for being cautious about him. But if Emma trusted him, then that was what mattered most. "Don't I know it," he said with a bit of a smile in response to her words as he entered her room with her. He took in the sight of her bedroom, and it looked like . . . Emma. The papers that showed she brought her work home and thus was always on the job as the hardworking woman she was, the clothing on the bed that revealed she didn't go on a date every day -- which he was quite glad for -- and the decor that held a touch of her mother but ultimately, was one that surely fulfilled her comfort.
"How so very you Swan," he said, speaking aloud his thoughts, though his words were meant more of a compliment above anything else. As she cleared the clothing, he sat on the edge of her bed in a spot clear of her garments. She commented on how she was not expecting company tonight and he gave a hint of a smirk. "And whys that, didn't think the evening was going to go as well as it did?" He asked teasingly, though was hardly offended by the suggestion. Hell, he himself had not even known he would be up here and it was an incredibly welcome unexpected turn of events. Of course he had thought about it . . . but it no longer just had to be an idea that remained in his head, for it had become reality.

It was true. There was no mistaking that this was Emma's dwelling. She, of course, didn't take offense to his comment of how the room was so her. He was right. As she cleared the clutter off of her bed, she was reminded of when she first lived on her own before Henry had found her. Her bedroom there, as well as her kitchen counter and living room table, were always covered in paperwork - most of which were stained in coffee that had accidentally spilled. Then there was the case of the Chinese leftovers in the fridge where the boxes may or may not have been empty. At least there, and even in New York with Henry, she had more space. She was mostly confined to one room here, which was another reason why she was considering moving out with the kid.
When she was finished carrying the garments off of her bed and putting them in her closet, she sat down on the edge of the bed with her ankles crossed together. She smiled and shook her head when he teased about how she hadn't seen the date going quite this well, and with a quirked brow she retorted with a witty comment - as usual. "Did you expect to be in my bedroom by the end of the date?" And then she realized whom she was talking to, and she held up a hand. "Wait..don't answer that." She teased, grinning. "Seriously though. This is something that doesn't normally happen. I just really don't want tonight to end just yet and being up here.. away from everyone and definitely alone.. seems like the best course of action. Right?" Her body was stiff once more. She was a little nervous.. she hadn't really done anything like this since.. Well. It'd been a long time.
"So," In her nervousness, she rested her hands on her lap, and stared up at him, trying to keep her composure. "Our fairy tale. How do you think it'll end?"

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT She asked him a question that he opened his mouth to answer, but seemed to catch herself before he got the chance. Which resulted in him just smiling with amusement. He definitely would have had the response for having expected to end up in her bedroom, whether it was made in jest, sarcasm, or the genuine truth. Instead, he focused on her next words, that were spoken on a more serious note. To hear that she didn't want tonight to end . . . well, he was glad to know the feeling was mutual. For he felt the exact same way. It was such a rarity for them to be alone together, away from the chaos and crises that constantly ensued them -- her. "You deserve to have time to yourself to do what you want, Swan. Enjoying the less chaotic moments in life." And although it was time with him which he was ecstatic about, he still meant his words. "It is the best course of action, if its what you want." Which he knew it was considering how tonight had went, and where they currently were.
He could see her nervousness, probably from having watched her closely for so long. He wanted to put her mind at total ease, wishing her to think of nothing and feel everything. He himself had not been with another since having realized he'd fallen in love with Emma. Even back in their world, whatever gifts or offerings he'd had . . . he'd rejected. His mind had constantly been filled with thoughts of her, and how no one else could even come close to comparing. He too each of her hands in each of his own, gently caressing the back of her hand with his thumb. "However we want it to," he told her with a soft smile. Meaning, that evil would not prevail. He thought of something Regina had once told him, how villains don't get happy endings. He sincerely hoped that was untrue. For he had no idea what he was anymore . . . apart from a man in love. Perhaps that was enough. He then raised each of her hands to her lips, gently kissing the back of one, and then the other. "Think of nothing tonight, Swan," he told her softly. He knew she often had her guard up, but not tonight. Tonight it was just about them. "Just allow yourself to feel," he added, before leaning forward, and lightly brushing his lips against hers in a brief kiss. His eyes closed, giving her a moment to relax, before he leaned in again, this time for a longer and slightly deeper embrace.

He was right. She did deserve to have some time to herself.. and currently, she wanted to share that alone time with Killian. There were no doubts in her mind that this was what she wanted. Right here, right now, is where she wanted to be..and Killian was who she wanted to be with. Everything at the moment was perfect, but she knew if she thought about it too much that everything would shatter in to a million pieces. "This is definitely what I want, Hook. I promise." She realized she hand't called him Killian..but she was so used to his nickname that it just kind of rolled off of her tongue. She smiled a little and took him by the hand..the hand that once harbored the hook. "But tonight you're just Killian.. it's weird seeing two hands. Not in a bad way but I liked you just the way you were. I don't need you to change." As she held his hand, she looked up in to his eyes. "Although it definitely was a nice surprise."
When she asked how the fairy tale would end, he gave her the perfect answer.. however they wanted. She knew the way that he and Regina thought about things. About their lack of happy endings because they were villains. It wasn't true.. they weren't villains. She'd seen villains. She'd seen what people could do to others in the world. Criminals.. those were villains. Prisons were full of them. He also told her not to think..that was probably a good idea. Emma had a nasty habit of getting stuck inside of her own head, and this was exactly what she needed. When he closed the gap between them and captured her lips with his, she could practically feel the air escape from her lungs. His kiss had a strange power over her, and it certainly did allow her to feel. It allowed her to feel so many things that she had tried to hide from. Her eyes fell closed, and she returned the kiss after tilting her head slightly. She lifted a hand, and lightly touched his cheek as she allowed herself to relax, and melt in to Killian's kiss. Everything about this moment just felt..right.

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT He had not failed to notice that she referred to him as Hook, however he was hardly offended. It was after all the nickname he had selected the moment he picked up the hook to replace his hand. He had wanted it to look menacing; like a threat. But the time had come to find a way to replace it with his other hand. For her. He wanted to hold her with both hands, feel her, and not have his bloody hook get in their way. It felt rather wonderful to have both his hands again, though he also knew that Emma had agreed to go out with him . . . hook and all. And to hear her assure him that she didn't need him to change, further reinforced exactly why he loved her. The kiss distracted him from these thoughts as he instead focused on the way her lips felt against his; the way she responded to the kiss; the way her hand touched his cheek.
All of which were causing his heart to beat a little heavier in his chest as he continued to slowly deepening it, savoring her taste and touch that made everything in this moment, perfect. One hand moved to the back of her head to press her closer to him, while the other moved to rest on her leg, slowly moving over the fabric of her skirt as it served as a barrier between his hand and her skin. He slowly pulled away from her lips, though kept their faces close together as he rested his forehead against hers and focused on taking slow and soft breaths. "You have changed me, Swan," he told her, going back to her earlier words of how she didn't need him to change. He had of course knew what she meant but he felt the need to tell her something in this moment. "You have made me want to be a better man," he told her honestly. Before -- after Milah -- he lived only for himself. He served whoever provided him with a richer or more opportune result.
But meeting her . . . spending time with her, and falling in love with her . . . he realized who he was loyal to. That he had been fooling himself in thinking that this selfish life he led was fulfilling. For it was being with her that truly completed him and gave him purpose that he had been searching for without even realizing it. "All the good that I am now, is because of you." He wanted to give her that credit, for it was due. It wasn't about wanting to change himself so she would be with him; it was about discovering the honorable man he used to be, before living a life of piracy. "And I can never truly thank you enough for that," he added in the same whispered tone, before meeting her lips again. Only this time, he slowly and gently pushed her forward, until he back was laying against the surface of the bed.

The moment that their kiss ended - even though it was only long enough for him to speak - Emma found herself longing to feel his lips against her's more. She was absolutely addicted to him. As he spoke, she was pulled from the clouds she had been floating in, and she listened to his words. She had changed him, he had said. Only she changed him for the good. She didn't feel like she could take all of the credit.. it was in his heart from the beginning. "Killian," she whispered. "I didn't make you a good man.. You were good from the start. You just went down a bad path..but now you're back." Maybe that part was because of her..and she was flattered that he had cared about her so much that he was able to get in touch with that side of himself again.
Emma was completely aware that as they whispered to each other with their lips so close together, that she hadn't taken a mint or anything else and her breath probably smelled of Italian food and beer. This made her feel a little weird, but he told her not to think. Just to feel. And so far, he wasn't running for the hills so it must not have been that bad. On the contrary, he kissed her again after musing that he couldn't thank her enough for making him a better man... and then he started to move her back so that she was lying flat on the bed. Her heart started to pound faster, and her eyes fluttered shut. "Mmm," a soft moan escaped her throat as she let herself get lost once more in Killian's embrace. She was completely enthralled with him, and at the moment, she didn't care if anyone came home because honestly, she couldn't think of anything aside from Killian.
Her hands started to roam over his shirt, and she took note that it was actually very soft. It felt nice, but she was already starting to work at the buttons to get the garment off of him.

Right Now WE HAVE A QUIET MOMENT Killian disagreed with her words, but he also was far too distracted to try and argue them at the moment. There would be time for them to talk, but for moments like these? They were far more uncommon. Hearing the moan that escaped her made the need that was filling his entire body. Feeling her under him, how she tasted, how she felt . . . and her hands moved on the buttons of the shirt . . . well, he was rather relieved that he had asked her downstairs if she was ready for this. Because he felt it would be impossible to stop now. He also was very aware that this revealed a whole new level of trust she had for him, which was not something he was quick to dismiss. She was trusting him with her emotions, which he knew was not at all easy for her. And he wasn't about to betray that trust by doing or saying anything that would make her regret it.
His lips continued to move against hers, coaxing her mouth open with his own as his hands moved to her waist, to the belt she had on. He began to unclasp it, pulling it off and carelessly tossing it to the side. His hands then slid under her shirt, trailing over her sides, feeling her soft and fair skin and finding the sensation stronger now that he had two hands to explore her with. His lips moved from her own, moving down the front of her neck before moving further done along her collar bone, rather grateful for the low necked shirt she had decided to wear tonight for it exposed her skin that he was exploring with his lips.

Leaving herself open and vulnerable was one of the hardest things for Emma to do. One of the reasons she hadn't been with many men was because it was so difficult to allow herself to be vulnerable enough to have intimate moments such as this one. When he removed her belt, she had just finished unbuttoning his shirt. She pushed it down over his arms, and her hands immediately moved to his chest. Her head fell back, pressing against the bed as his lips trailed over her collar bone. This was happening.. she wasn't thinking. She refused to let herself analyze anything, and for once, she was living in the moment.. with Killian. Her hands moved to his back, and one slid upward against his neck, and finally tunneled their way through his hair.
She wanted him, more than anything she'd ever wanted before. There wasn't just a spark between them anymore.. it was now a full blown, five alarm fire that was ready to turn in to an inferno at any given moment. Her legs parted so that he could move between them, and move closer against her, while her hands lowered to his belt. She had to admit..he adapted to normal clothes incredibly well. He just had a way of making himself look good no matter what he wore.. and soon, if things kept on the path they were going, she'd see what he had underneath his clothes. In the back of her mind, she condoned herself for choosing to wear a dress. It was a way to sate her impatience, if the two of them got much more steamy. "Killian," she breathed, squirming beneath him, and trembling at his touch.
