Jack Frost had heard about the town of Storybrooke, the other Guardians claimed that Storybrooke was cursed, and they stayed away from it, even Santa refused to deliver there. Jack, always being the curious of sorts, went to where it was suppose to be, only to find a huge ice wall blocking his way. He flew up and over the wall and landed in Storybrooke. He looked around, wondering what or whom could of caused the ice wall, and then it hit him... Elsa. Was she really here? Excitement threatened to erupt out of him as he flew quickly into the towns square and looked around for her. Did she even believe in him yet? At the very least, maybe he could see her again? The thought of seeing her again, but not being seen back was enough almost to make him run away again. He didn't know if he could handle that again. But the thought of her believing in him and seeing him, kept his feet planted on the sidewalk.
He walked up to the diner, Granny's Diner it was called and he pushed open the door. Someone closed the door behind him, claiming that a draft must of opened it and his heart sank. No one in the diner even looked at him, he was invisible here, did no one in Storybrooke believe in him? In a fit of rage he opened the door of the diner and ran outside, tears threatening to stain his cheeks again. He stopped in the middle of the street and fell to his knees. He began to cry, even if Elsa were here in Storybrooke, she wouldn't believe in him, the rest of the town didn't seem to. He wanted to give up, to just fly away and never return to this place, but then, he heard footsteps approaching him and he stood up quickly turning around to see who it was. His eyes shot open wide, it was her, Elsa. She was here, and she was as beautiful as ever.

To say that today was a stressful day would be a gross understatement. Elsa was feeling worse than ever. She had finally got around to trying that locator spell that Mr. Gold had given her, but to no avail. Nothing seemed to be working. She felt as though she was starting to lose her mind. She wanted nothing more than to find her sister, and she was ready to take drastic measures.
She walked along the streets of Storybrooke, wearing clothes she had borrowed from Emma again. 'Skinny Jeans' she called them, and a long sleeve light blue shirt. It wasn't her ice dress, but she thought she'd give it a try. Turns out, it was a lot easier to move around in pants than it was in a big flowy ice dress. Who knew?
She kept her hair in its signature braid, she didn't want to be completely unrecognizable. As she walked, however, she saw something funny. Someone was in the middle of the street, crying on his knees. Before she could say anything, he quickly stood up and turned to face her.
There was some sort of recognition in his face, and in hers as well. She placed a hand over her heart, catching her breath. "Jack Frost?" she said, almost breathlessly. Of course she remembered that face. He was her imaginary friend growing up. She had fabricated him out of some old stories. And why not? He was exactly like her in powers, and he'd often calm her down and show her fantastic things. Isn't that what imaginary friends were for?
She ran her fingers through her bangs and clutched them for a moment, "I'm losing my mind," she chuckled, like a crazy person. And she was, wasn't she? Seeing her imaginary friend now?

"You know who I am?" He asked her, his voice sounding disbelieving, then it hit him, if she knew his name, and if Elsa called him by his name, then that meant, that she say and believed in him. "You can see me?" Jack asked Elsa, waving his hand in front of her face to double check. It was kind of habit by now whenever someone saw him that he check in this way. His eyebrow raised as she said she was losing her mind and then he chuckled. "You are not losing yours anymore then I am losing my own." He informed her. He just couldn't believe it, his dream girl actually saw him. He felt like he could fly, which of course he could already do so, but now it felt like he was about to float up and away.
"What are you wearing?" He asked her, finally looking at her outfit more closely. "Not that you don't look good in it, it is just, where is your dress?" Jack asked Elsa curiously. Maybe she was just trying to blend in better in this world, as the fashions were way different here then they were in the Enchanted Forest and in Arendelle, that much was sure. "I just... I can't believe you can see me, I thought you would never be able to see me." He admitted to her after long last. His voice practially broke as he said this, He had to remind himself that just because she believed in him, didn't mean that she liked or even cared about him, that she probably didn't even know who he really was, but it was a start, and oh so good start.

Elsa really started to panic when he started talking back to her. Were imaginary people supposed to talk? Oh no. Oooooh no, she really was losing it. Then he was suddenly closer to her, waving a hand in front of her face, "Cut that out!" she snapped as she took a step back. "No. No, there is no way that you are crazier than me right now because you're not the one imagining things," she shook her head and rolled her eyes, folding her arms across her chest.
As she assessed him, she noticed his eyes were still slightly red from crying. She felt a piece of her break at the thought of him crying over anything, and she wanted nothing more than to make it better. But how did you cheer up a ghost from your childhood? Not by reminding them they weren't real, that much was sure. Apparently, he was assessing her as well because he began commenting about her outfit. She pulled back a little more, "wait... you've seen my ice dress? When?" she asked, growing suspicious. But wait, what was the point in being suspicious!
Now he was going off about how he thought she wouldn't be able to see him, implying that he had seen her before. When his voice broke, she reached a hand toward him in an instinctive comforting gesture, but she stopped it mid-air before it reached him. "I've seen you before Jack, because I made you up," she said, her voice low and serious. She pulled her hand back and began tugging at her braid. "You're only here because I'm so... stressed," she turned her face away, willing herself to stop imagining things. How was her imaginary hero going to help with anything?

"Sorry..." He apologized with a soft chuckle. ",,,It's just that, I can't believe you believe in me." Jack Frost spoke to her. He decided that the only time she looked cuter then when she was confused, was when she was slightly angry, especially when she was slightly angry at him. He wanted to dance, to start a snowball fight, to have fun right now, but he didn't want to seem like a raving lunatic and scare her off. He had finally been able to say something to her, so despite his bones practially screaming at him to have fun, he restrained himself, which took quite a great deal of effort. "You're not imaging anything." He told her with a smile.
"Yeah, when you and your sister... you became queen and..." Jack told her, before noticing that she was slightly suspicious of him. He shook his head and held up his hand. "No, no, I promise I am not gonna hurt you. I just... I saw everything, everything you and your sister went through, but I was powerless to help cause you didn't believe in me." Jack told her honestly. She then said that she saw him before, and it was because she made him up. This confused him greatly. "You... you saw me? When? Why didn't you say anything?" He asked her. No, she couldn't have seen him, no one saw him, not until he found a way to make them believe. But why would Elsa lie?
"I am not made up... I have you know I am real!" Jack exclaimed. Feeling quite upset that she was calling him a figment of her imagination. He wasn't about to say that "The Man on the Moon" told me that I am real... He cleared his throat. "Why are you so stressed? You are so beautiful, and you have a sister and... Where is Anna?" He asked her curiously. Sure the two were not joined at the hip, but it wasn't like Elsa to roam around a different realm without her sister. Was that was Elsa was so stressed? Over her sister?

Now he was laughing at her? This was getting more confusing by the second. But he didn't seem to want to cause any harm... in fact, he seemed quite the opposite. He wanted her to smile, that much was clear. He wanted her to be happy. Elsa shook her head a little, trying to regain her composure, but she felt tears start to prick her eyes and she listened to his speech about being believed in. Isn't that what she always wanted? Always needed? For someone to believe in her and to trust her? Couldn't she give that to Jack? But... a strong part of her still didn't think he was real. But she didn't want to tell him that anymore. No, she couldn't stand that look on his face.
"I... I hope not," she responded when he said that she wasn't imagining things. Then, he revealed a very confusing story about the most stressful time in Elsas life. The time when everyone found out about her powers. She lost her composure again as a tear escaped from her eyes. "Wait... wait. Are you saying that you can only be seen if someone believes in you?" she asked, starting to feel her courage building up as she took a step closer to him, "are you saying that you were there, in the ice castle, while I was all alone and I could have had a friend there the entire time? Are you saying that it's my fault you didn't help?" she was starting to raise her voice now, that was new. She didn't lose her temper as easily anymore. But Jack was... Jack was bringing out another side of Elsa. The passionate side. The kind that believed in people like Jack Frost.
Elsa realized how close she was standing to him and took a minor step back. She was about to answer his question about when she had seen him before, but then he brought up Anna. And something about her being beautiful? She straightened up at that, once again suspicious, but not as much as before. "Mr. Frost... maybe we should talk about this somewhere a little more... private?" she asked, trying to remain calm as she glanced around the street. People had definitely stopped to look as Elsa seemed to be talking to herself.
ooc note: That post was a bit long, sorry! haha. By the way, I love that he thinks she's cute when she's 'slightly angry, hehe.

He noticed her eyes start to get sad and begin to tear up and he frowned. "I didn't mean to upset you. I wasn't laughing at you, I was laughing at the situation." Jack told her honestly. He didn't mean to make her feel bad, it was just that for so long all he wanted was her to notice him, and them moment he loses all hope of that ever happening, it happened, and she saw him. It was just ironic, and it elated him. So his laughing was not directed at her in any way. Jack frowned as she said she hoped she wasn't going crazy. Clearly she still believed that he was real, otherwise he would vanish in front of her again, but she was still looking at him. "You...you are not. I promise." Jack told her, his voice sounding the most serious he has ever made it sound before in his life, which wasn't saying much.
He nodded at her question. "That is my lot in life, I guess. I am a guardian. The guardian of fun to be precise. There are other guardians, the Easter Bunny, Santa, Sandy, Tooth, none of us can be seen if no one believes in us." Jack told her, trying to explain, but the mentioning of other people she probably thought were imaginary as well probably didn't help any. He nodded slowly, lowering his head to the ground, she seemed angry? Angry at him? He didn't know, so he apologized. "I am sorry, I can't help that I can't be seen..." He apologized, he didn't want her to be mad at him. The 100 or so ways that Jack imagined this meeting going over the years, and it wasn't going as well as he would of hoped. He was either upsetting her, or angering her, and that wasn't his goal.
He then looked up at her again as she suggested that they go to a private place. He looked around as people seemed to be starting to crowd the street, staring at Elsa as if she were crazy. "No one else in town believes in me, I don't think." He admitted. He realized how this made Elsa look and he grabbed her hand quickly and pulled her behind him, leading her into the forest, out of site of the rest of the town. Finally stopping, he soon realized he was holding her hand and he pulled away quickly, as if he had been holding something scolding hot. "Sorry, I didn't know where else to go." Jack told her with a frown.

Elsa shook her head vigorously as he started to apologize. She didn't know what to say, she really couldn't say anything in that moment. She felt bad, bad that she was starting to get upset. "You didn't offend me, Jack..." she started slowly. Should she tell him that she felt bad for thinking he was fake, even if a part of her still thought that he was? Should she tell him that she wanted to be believed in too? Though, their situations were completely different.... When his serious reassurance that she wasn't imagining things slipped out of his lips, however, she found herself losing a few tears that escaped onto her cheeks. She quickly wiped them away. "Ok." That was all she could say.
He was taking this so well, her little temper tantrum. He just stood there and told her exactly what was what. Though, she did know she had made him upset when he lowered his head and apologized. "Gods Jack, don't do that..." she said, her voice low and trying to be comforting. She reached a hand out and gently tapped his chin, only to pull it away quickly, "I know... I know it's not your fault."
Suddenly, he was remarking to her about the fact that she probably looked crazy talking to herself, and he was right. Many people were already wary of her since the iced town incident and now this.... when he took her hand she felt a slight jolt roll through her body, bursting out of her fingertips as he led her toward the forest. She didn't let go. She wasn't sure if she even wanted to... which was strange. She felt like she had known him her whole life even though she didn't know him at all. When he released her hand, she was somewhat relieved and realized she had been holding her breath.
"No, No.... this is good," she commented, folding her arms across her chest and taking a step back to give him some space. He seemed a little uncomfortable now, and so did she. "So... you were saying about... why I'm stressed?" And that I'm beautiful? she thought. "You... you asked about Anna," she felt her hands starting to shake at that moment. She had lost Anna. She had lost her sister...

Jack smiled at her as she said that he didn't offend her. The last thing he ever wanted to do was upset her, so to find out Elsa wasn't offended by him was exactly what he needed to hear right then. The conversation was still going poorly, but maybe Elsa didn't dislike him? He could only hope this was the case, as all he had gotten from her was confusion, anger and sadness. He wanted to help her make things right, but he didn't know what was wrong, so he didn't know what he could do to help out. Sighing he nodded as she seemed to accept the fact that he told her she wasn't crazy. He didn't know what would happen if she suddenly told him that she didn't believe in him. It would be the lowest feeling Jack had ever felt, which was saying something, cause his whole life was a bunch of lows.
Even though she was cute when she was angry, the fact that she was angry at him was to much for Jack. If her being sad and upset was bad enough, her being angry was just to much for him. He nodded weakly as she said she knew it wasn't his fault. "I just don't want you to be upset." Jack told her honestly. After pulling her into the forest, he was glad they were alone. For one thing, Elsa didn't have to worry about looking like a lunatic in front of the whole town any longer, and for another, it just felt... different being alone with her. A good kinda different. He had to shake these thoughts out of his head. "Yeah..." He answered her question, he did ask why she was stressed and about Anna, and that was how he knew that is why she was stressed. It had something to do with Anna. "Is she alright?" Last I saw her she was skating with you in Arendelle, and she seemed ok." Jack answered her question fully.

Elsa turned her face away from him for a moment and mentally scolded herself for becoming so emotional. But this was a crazy situation, wasn't it? Plus, Elsa was never good at controlling herself around people she cared about... hence why she was locked in her room for 10+ years. She turned back to look at him and his image slightly flickered. Oh no! she thought. She was letting her doubt get the best of her. She walked up to him and lifted a hand, but it hung in the air for a moment.
"She... I can't find her. Anywhere," she shook her head and blinked several times to compose herself. "The ice skating... back after the- incident? Was that the last time you were in Arendelle?" the thought that he had missed the entire 'Anna getting engaged' and 'Aunt Ingrid coming to town' was a little hard to believe. Why would he have just left for all that time? This made it even harder for her to believe that he was real, but she was trying.
Then she lowered her hand to waist level, holding it out to him as his image flickered. "Jack... I'm losing you too. I need you to touch me, I think, so that I don't doubt you're real..." she raised an eyebrow at him with a concerned face, letting her shoulders shrug up, "Is that okay?"
