It was just minutes after Henry left the now-unsafe confinements of the room in which his mother, Regina, had locked him in. Making it to the outskirts of the forest, Henry stopped and bent over, his hands on his knees and he took a few deep breaths before he ran off once more trying to keep away from Killian. 'No way a dirty old pirate will get me' Henry thought to himself as he ran through the forest. It wasn't but seconds later he nearly ran into Robin Hoods clan of men. Quickly taking behind a tree, to remain hidden, Henry looked around for a way to make his way around the men undetected.
Spotting a way, Henry realized his only chance was around the mess of people. Running around them the long way, Henry spotted none other than Robin Hood himself tied to a tree. "Haha. Robin Hood trapped up? Probably best off for a thief!" Henry shouted, not thinking of anything he was saying, as if it was autonomously. When he heard a rustle of leaves behind him, Henry took off running again, not sure who it was. But fearing his life, the boy bolted again.
He was unsure of where to go, or how long he would have to flee from the pirate Hook himself. He wondered if this was how Hook felt when Peter Pan, and his lost boys where chasing him, and he was being overrun so he had to flee. Quickly spotting a tree that looked climbable, Henry stopped running, and walked over to the tree, taking ease in climbing up the top, sitting amongst the leaves, and hoping for solitude.

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Hook truly hated every second of this. Though he supposed that if he had his heart, he would hate it even more. The damn Crocodile. Killian wished this wasn't happening and would almost have rather fallen under the curse like the rest of them, if it meant he had his heart still beating in his chest. He wished the crocodile would just put him out of his misery and kill him already. But no. He was far more sinister than that; he knew he enjoyed watching Hook suffer. And what better way to do that than to make Hook target those he most cared about. First Emma, now the boy. Oh yes. Damn him indeed.
But Hook's actions were not of his own volition. So he raced after Henry, going through the woods, aware that he himself wasn't the only threat that could befall Henry. With how ridiculously mad everyone was acting, someone could easily target the boy. Someone apart from Hook of course. He was following Henry as best he could, passing the merry men, Robin of whom was tied up against a tree. He completely ignored him as he spouted off nonsense from the influence of the curse, before looking at the tracks left by Henry. He paused for a moment, looking around the forest and instead of going the same direction, took another route that would cut the boy off when he came in front of him.
Hook ran, keeping very aware of his surroundings, and the second he was supposed to have come face to face with Henry, the boy was not there. The pirate turned his head every which way, trying to determine what went wrong in what he thought had been a fairly good plan. He walked a bit ahead, seeing that the tracks had ended here. Which meant only one thing . . . saising his head, Hook saw Henry . . . at the top of a tree. "Oye!" He called out to him, standing directly beneath him now. "Get down from there, you're going to hurt yourself," he stated, though he knew his words may not be well received, especially considering their last conversation.

Henry waited in the top, taking in breaths as he tried to slow his breathing, and breathe easier. While sitting up top, Henry felt his feet slide down the bark of the tree, and he pushed himself back up, and repositioned himself to sit on a branch. 'Lets see him get me from here, nasty pirate. Had to get with my mom, of all women in town.'
When Killian didn't arise for a while, Henry was about to jump down, when he saw none other than Killian himself show up in front the tree. "Never. I never liked you. Go away. I'm not going to trust you and jump down. And who cares if I hurt myself, at least it means you can't." Henry yelled, and he moved a little higher up in the tree, making sure he kept out of Killian's reach.

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Hook had to admit that the lad had a point. If he was up there, then he wasn't with Killian. And thus, he could possibly be spared from Rumple's ridiculous plan of taking him away from Storybrooke and all his family. His real family. For to Killian, a psychotic grandfather did not constitute as true family. But even while Killian knew the logic of Henry's words, he had no choice but to try and convince him otherwise. If Hook could walk away, he would. He almost hoped the boy was able to knock him out or something to prevent him from doing any more harm as the dark one's unwilling minion. "It is not I who is trying to hurt you. The entire town is raged with anger, and the longer you stay out here exposed, the more danger you place yourself in. I can protect you," he offered.
He recognized the deception of his words as well as the futility. No one in this bloody town was thinking rationally thanks to Ingrid's curse. But again, he had to at least try . . . because it was what he was commanded to do. He moved his position, trying to find a better line of sight to keep an eye on the boy. He obviously wasn't going to climb up after him, so instead, he would just have to wait it out there. At least he now knew where he was, and it wasn't so much the chasing part, as it was the capturing part. "Contrary to whatever you believe right now, I'm not the enemy." Oh but he was. And he sincerely hoped Henry did not believe him. He also knew that it if were that easy to convince someone who was under this curse . . . then it wouldn't be a bloody powerful one, which, they all knew it was.

Henry narrowed his eyes, as he looked down to Hook. Hook was never up to any good, much like may people in town now, who where not up to any good, all thanks to the curse that the snow queen had placed on the entire town. "And you expect me to believe you? You of all people? I'd rather believe The Evil Queen than you. What makes you think anyone would ever believe a slimy, disgusting pirate like you?" Henry said and he rolled his eyes, how could people think he was so stupid, and would believe someone as shifty as Captain Hook?
With a simple laugh, Henry relaxed against the giant tree trunk, and used one of the branches to set his legs on as a rest. Crossing his arms, Henry looks down to Captain Hook. "Your attempt is futile, and it will not convince me to get down there with you. At least the Merry Men, as a much kinder sort than you, Captain Hook." Henry said the last part with a sarcastic tone, and he shook his head. "I will never understand how, or why my mom got with you in the first place. You're a sad excuse for a man."

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Henry spoke of how he would rather believe the Evil Queen. Which, was quite telling . . . considering it was his mother, yet he referred to her as the less flattering title. His insults did not stop there, for he continued to call Hook a slimy, disgusting pirate. He of course didn't take it to heart -- and not just only because he didn't have a heart. He knew that Henry was cursed, so he could easily brush off his words. If anything, Hook was glad his attempts were not working. He hoped Henry stayed up there until Hook could give up and leave. He didn't want to harm the boy and aiding in Rumple's planned kidnapping of him . . . well, that was certainly condemning Henry.
"Slimy?" He questioned, repeating one of the words Henry used to describe him. "You're mistaking me for the Crocodile, mate," Hook finished. Who was technically Henry's grandfather. Bloody hell. Each and every time Killian thought of that, it was frightening. The boy continued with his jibes, which again was to be expected, as he stated that he wouldn't be able to convince him to come down. That was both, good and bad. Good, because he didn't want to be near enough to Henry to have him in his grasp. Bad, because . . . well, Henry could only stay up there for so long and Hook feared what would happen if someone else were to find him.
"Of course they are, they have the word Merry in their bloody name," Hook said sarcastically, referring to Henry comment regarding the Merry Men. Perhaps they were kinder company . . . compared to Hook was before. But he firmly believed that he had reformed himself. Yet, thanks to Rumple, all his efforts were being undone. The way that Blue looked at him before sucking her into the hat . . . he would never forget her face.
Because, this was not the man Hook wanted to be yet the one that The Dark One had forced him to return to. Then came the subject of him and Emma -- Henry's mother. He had to remind himself not to take any of what Henry said seriously; and just rest assured in the fact that if Henry was opposed to the arrangement, then Emma would not have allowed Hook into her life in this way. She had after all, said that they were together, even if it was only to be very short lived considered the Dark One's threat.
This was apparently the last night Hook would walk this earth and quite frankly, he would indeed rather be dead than in the crocodile's clutches. "You should trust your mother's judgment, lad. She's got good taste." He knew he shouldn't be playing with the boy but at the same time, there was no use in trying to take sense into him. It was the curse making him say such things. "If you come down, I promise you that I'll stay away from her, forever." Which . . . wasn't entirely a lie for he had been avoiding her -- unless commanded otherwise -- since he lost his heart. The forever part came in because he could be dead soon. "I'm a man of my word, because even Pirate's have a certain, code to adhere to." He didn't exactly have a good track record of honesty . . . but that was before he had fallen in love with Emma. He wished he could say things were now different, but they weren't; not with Rumple's having possession of Hook's heart -- and not in the figurative sense.

Henry looked to Hook, and he felt nothing but hatred for the man who was standing before him, after all, he was a pirate. Pirates could never be trusted, but when he mentioned about staying away from his mother, Emma; Henry felt a bit of happiness in his heart, and he nodded. The man had agreed to stay from his mother, and that was all he needed. He was happy that the blasted pirate would stay away from his mother. "Deal. You where never good enough for her anyways. I mean face it, who could ever love a pirate like you" Henry spat the words out with as much hatred as he could muster.
"If you want me down you have to back up. To that tree!" Henry said looking to the tree that was a few feet away. Henry made an idea. Hook had just wanted the kid down, which he would be doing. But once he was down, Henry would run. Run to Regina, who Henry knew would never hurt. But the pirate? The one who was trying his hardest to capture Henry, she would surely hurt him. And, Henry felt no remorse in having his mother hurt Hook.
"Now. Step back, or I'll just slip." Henry pestered and hung upside down from the branch he was using to sit on, using just his legs to hold his body. "If I fall, your the only one who would be hurt by the whole town." Henry played. He knew everyone would go for Hook if they knew he had anything to do with Henry falling, or trying to capture him for his own personal gain. Not only would he have to deal with Emma, and Regina. He would also have to deal with his grandparents. The thief, Snow. The swordsman farm boy, Charming. And lastly, The Dark One himself, Rumplestiltskin. Henry knew he had the town on his side, and if something where to say, hurt him, the town would not see the end of it if things would not lead in their favor.

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Hook watched the boy as he seemed to deliberate the offer Killian was making. Soon enough, Henry agreed to it, saying that he had never been good enough for Emma. Though Hook knew that the boy was under the curse, this was of course something that he agreed with. He knew he wasn't good for her, but continued to try and be. He had never been able to let her go, but this time, he had no other choice. His heart was not under his control. Though Emma had he had never exchanged words proclaiming their love for one another . . . Killian did love her. There was no doubt about that. But he would not -- could not -- say that right now. So instead, he just agreed with the boy.
"Aye, you're right," he conceded, saying whatever he needed to in order to convince him. "Which is why I will walk away from her." Only his departure from her was a rather unwilling one. But details, details. Unnecessary ones at that. Henry then added a condition to their agreement . . . which was that Hook had to back up. He was well aware what this meant; that Henry was not going to go with him willingly. Killian still remained in place, but it wasn't until Henry said that he would just slip that Hook had to react. He knew how irrational this curse made others and he wasn't about to take a risk with Henry. "Alright, alright mate, just . . . be careful," Hook stated as he began to take a few steps backwards, keeping his eye on the boy but moving to the agreed upon tree.
This curse was certainly making the boy deviously clever, as he spoke of how the town would be against him. If there was one person that most everyone in town was protective of, it was Henry Mills. Consider his family. Hell, even the Dark One was protective enough to take him out of this town with him. Hook went to his position and watched the boy intently, ready to race forward should he actually slip. "Right again you are, lad. But the town coming after me is the least of my concerns right now. I'm more worried about you getting down with no broken limbs." He may not have his heart, but he still cared. He was still concerned for the boy. "Let me help you," he offered, but didn't move unless Henry consented to his assistance.

Hanging from the tree, and playing around Henry waited for Hook to back up. He wondered if Hook would listen to his demands, and he did so that made Henry happy. When Hook made it to the spot Henry had told him, he nodded. Taking a deep breath, he spoke. "Alright, I'm coming down. Make any funny moves though and I'll scream, and blame it on you." Henry said angrily.
Moving carefully, Henry climbed a bit down, before he jumped the rest of the way. Landing on his feet, Henry quickly dashed in the other direction, he knew he wouldn't be able to run forever, so he knew exactly where to run to; Regina. She was the only hope he had that Hook wouldn't do something stupid to Henry.
Taking around the trees with ease, Henry nearly tripped on a vine, and stumbled. Catching his balance right before he fell, Henry picked up his speed again, and looked around for an exit to the end of the forest, so he could get out quicker and go to the safety of his mother. Henry hoped Regina was where she said she would be though, or else he would have to rethink his plan of escape.

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Well the good news was that Henry came down with no broken bones. The bad news was . . . he was on the run again. Hook heavily exhaled a sigh and began to run after him. He knew this would happen, he somewhat expected it. But that didn't make this any easier. He was in pursuit of someone he didn't really want to catch yet had no choice but to chase. The inner conflict was torturous, as Hook's body moved against his will, running after the poor boy who should have remained safe in the confinement Regina left him in, for at least there he was protected with a spell. Hook had let him out into a town where everyone was on a raging rampage. Who knows what could happen. Fortunately -- or unfortunately -- Hook still had a visual. He didn't know what he preferred at this point. He hoped to lose him but had to try and catch him. "Come on, mate. Let me take you some place safe for being out here is not wise." Especially with Robin Hood's men who were god knows where, lurking around the area. "No one is thinking clearly so others will try and hurt you." He wouldn't let that happen . . . but he was also just one man and therefore, no match if the entire town came at him.

Henry ran, ran for his life, ran from the man who tried to capture him. Henry wished he would just leave him alone, but that was something he knew all too well wouldn't happen. Hook seemed to be determined, which made Henry even more nervous.
"NEVER! At least if I'm hurt you can't take me. Not like you can lift anyway if something was to happen, unless you want to put a hook through someone's body." Henry yelled and kept running from the man who ran after him. Keeping his eye on the prize, Henry ran with all he could and made it out the forest, which was the best part. Now to keep away from Hook and all the crazies that ran on the street of Storybrooke.

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Henry certainly had a lot of energy in him. He was running for his life -- quite literally. And all Hook could do was trail behind him. Luckily, the boy didn't have too much of a lead, for Killian could still see him in the not so far distance. He was still within ear shot of him as well for he heard the words Henry shot back at him clearly enough.
"You getting hurt is what I am trying to prevent! I'm merely attempting to keep you safe!" He called back, aware that if Henry did get hurt, Rumple would not be too happy. Even though Rumple was planning on killing him, he didn't underestimate the suffering he could still bring upon the pirate.
Taking a deep breath, Killian continued to charge forward, moving as fast as his legs could carry him though they were not of his own command or control. Soon enough he was within arm's reach of the boy and he extended his hand, grabbing the boy by the arm. At the quick pace they were moving, the impact of the sudden grab caused them both to fall to the ground, though Killian quickly recovered and took hold of both the boy's arms.
Bringing them to a stand, Hook stood behind Henry, holding them behind Henry's back and ensuring he did not injure him with his hook. Killian closed his eyes, despising every moment of this. "I'm sorry about this, lad," he said, his voice filled with as much regret as he could create without a beating heart in his chest. "I truly, truly, am." He by no means wanted to pull Henry from either of his mothers. But if anyone was to blame, it was Henry's cruel and sinister grandfather. He was the true culprit in all this.

Henry felt Hook trailing on behind him, and it made Henry quite nervous. Hoping to keep himself away from Hook. It wasn't until after Henry stumbled and lost his balance, that it made the gap between the two narrow, and Henry felt a strong grasp on his arm. From the force of the grab making Henry fall to the ground beneath him, but unable to get up quick enough, Hook grabbed him.
With his arms behind his back, Henry kept pulling and struggling to get free. "Let me go you filthy pirate. You won't get away with this, my moms will find you." Henry yelled angrily, still trying to pull free. Unable to get free, Henry knew he'd at least deal a bit of pain to Hook. Quickly kicking backwards, square into Hooks knee he knew that Hook would feel a bit of pain, hopefully enough to get free. "I hope my mom rips your heart out, and you die alone like your supposed to." [/font]
