Tink was rather excited that she received Hook as her name for Secret Santa. She knew him rather well, so it wouldn't have been hard to get him something. Actually, she got him a few 'somethings'. She got him a gift basket filled with various things that she knew that he would enjoy. There was one thing in particular though, that she was sure that no one else would have been able to ever get him. When she finished putting the basket together in her room at Granny's Bed and Breakfast, she walked to Hook's room and knocked on the door. She wasn't sure if he was even there.. Usually he was with Emma all the time lately. It was okay though, because if he wasn't home, at least she'd know where to find him.
Tink wasn't exactly like most fairies. The others were part of the local convent, led by the all holy Blue Fairy. Although she wanted to stay in their good graces, Blue honestly got under Tink's skin, and vice versa. Which is why, when Blue would make rules, Tink would bend them.. and now that she saved Blue's life, she could bend rules to the point of nearly snapping..which is why she was able to get away with the one special gift that she was giving to her dear friend Killian Jones. "Hooook.. your secret santa is heeeere." she called in a sing-song voice.

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Hook wasn't overly basking in the Christmas spirit. He was no Grinch, but nor was he running around town spreading holiday cheer. The town had really gotten into it, celebrating with their families and loved ones. For the first time in a while, he had not wanted to interfere with that. He had still engaged in the Secret Santa even that several had partook in. It was just a matter of getting out and giving his gift to the name he had received. But currently, he was sitting in his chair, drinking eggnog -- which he had mostly used rum for to drown out the rest of the flavor.
The knock at his door distracted him from all thought, as did the all to familiar voice. How funny that she had gotten his name. He had somewhat considered who may have had it, and was just grateful it wasn't the Crocodile, or someone else that Hook had a less fortunate past with. He was in no mood dealing with them. Taking just a few seconds, he rose to his feet and went to answer the door, a small smile playing on his lips when he saw Tinkerbell, but then it faded when he saw the basket she held in her hand. "Got a bit excited there, eh Tink," he said a bit teasingly when he saw what was in her hand. "Come in," he added, stepping aside to grant her entrance and once she was in his room, he closed the door behind her, taking another particularly long swig of his drink.

Tink, who was wearing a green dress that looked akin to one of Santa's Elves complete with curled shoes, had stood excitedly at Hook's door, waiting for him to answer. When he did, she smiled wider at his amusement for how much she had gotten him. "I can't help it! I just feel filled with Christmas magic." In fact she had a little bit of a glow about her. Not an incredibly prominent one, but it was noticeable. She stepped inside when he invited her in, and was greeted by the smell of eggnog and rum. "I see you've started your celebrations early," she mused with a grin. She then lifted up the basket and held it out to him. "Here are a few things...but that's not the best part." After she had given him the basket, she pulled a necklace off of her shoulders and held it until he was finished looking at the other gifts. When he was finished, she held out the necklace to him, and gave him a little smile. "Open it." She wasn't sure if he knew it was a locket of sorts, but it was what was inside that mattered the most. "It's pixie dust," she mused with a confident smile. "Don't worry.. I didn't steal it. I informed Blue that I was taking it and she couldn't stop me." She mused proudly with a beaming grin. "You don't have to use it..but you have it. And I trust you with it. One day.. it might help you in a time of need." Gifts: Telescope

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Tink spoke of how she was full of Christmas magic, and he gave a slight smile at that. She looked rather festive and was clearly enjoying the holiday that had consumed the entire town. It was good to see her so happy and full of life, for she was one of his closest friends. He liked to see her so, knowing that this was the real Tink. "You look it too," he said in slight teasing, his eyes looking over her outfit and the aura of Christmas spirit that projected out of her. She then commented on him starting early and he continued to smile. "It's never too early to start celebrating," he stated, slightly raising his flask. Not that he even needed a celebration as a reason to drink.
Her next actions caused him to put his flask down as his hands became full of the basket. He set it on the small table on the side, hesitant to open it for a moment, not having expected so much. "You really went all out, Tink. You didn't need to," he added, before starting to unwrap the gifts. The first was a new telescope, one that he immediately tested, a genuine smile spreading on his lips for the view from it was excellent; it was sleek, easy to open and close, and extremely clear. It was perfect. He carefully set it back in the box, and went to open the next one, revealing a bottle of what seemed to be rather expensive and sophisticated drink. "You know me too well," he said, his smile growing upon seeing it. He wasn't sure he could even bring himself to drink it . . . but the thought fled his mind almost as quickly as it entered. It would be such a tragic waste for a drink such as this to just sit, unattended . . . unconsumed. He wold save it for a very special occasion.
The next gift was a beautiful chain necklace, with a rather fitting logo on it. It caused him to grin in amusement as he used his hook to link around it, holding it up and immediately placing it over his neck. "How does it look?" He asked, holding his arms out a bit, rather enjoying the feel and look of it. Once again, it was a perfect gift. She then held out something else for him, a locket which he carefully took from him, and as he opened it, she explained that it was fairy dust. His smile began to fade, replaced with a soft expression that revealed how much the sentiment of this gift meant to him. He knew she would not give this to just anyone, and the fact that she was entrusting him with it . . . well, it showed how she perceived him. What she thought of him. And she did not regard him as an distrusting pirate. It meant a great deal, more than he could say. He closed the locket and put it over his neck, looking at her with a soft smile on his lips.
"Thank you," he stated, with the utmost sincerity in his voice. "Each gift means a great deal to me," he added, hoping that she knew how much even if he was not exactly able to express his gratitude to it's full extent. "We've known each other a long time Tink. Been through a lot together." Their adventures in Neverland where it seemed fate had caused their paths to overlap and he couldn't have been more grateful. "I'm proud to know you, love." With that, he leaned forward and lightly kissed her cheek, pulling away and continuing to smile. He would not betray the trust she placed in him in giving the pixie dust.
"I have something for you," he began to tell her, turning to go to his drawer where he kept a few of the belongings from his ship before exchanging it for the bean. There were few things that he carried with him, and this was one of those things. He had kept it in a velvet pouch for safe keeping but now felt like the perfect time to give it to her. "I have kept this with me, in the hopes of seeing you again. A token of appreciation for assisting me in departing Neverland. But it means far more to me now, as do you." A friend amongst all this chaos. Someone who knew him, and never judged him for the way he had been . . . nor held it against him.
Inside the pouch as a NECKLACE; made of silver, the jewels were emerald -- for he knew that Tinkerbell adored green -- and to fill the circular center, was a piece of glass; enclosed inside was a preserved flower that Hook had kept from Neverland. It served as a small reminder of some beauty in the place where they had first met . . . and that his experience there had not all been dark. Some good had come of it for he had met her there. He awaited for her to open it, prepared to give an explanation of its sentiment if need be.

Tink was rather pleased with herself, and the reaction she got from her friend when he had looked at all of his gifts. The necklace looked stunning on him of course, and she was happy to see that he was so excited about the rum. "Of course, silly. You don't get in to Captain Hook's good graces by ignoring the things that he likes and dislikes. And the necklace looks perfect. I have pretty good taste." she gave him a little smile, biting gently down on her lower lip as she watched him receive his last gift. The pixie dust. She knew that of everyone, Hook would appreciate the gift. He thanked her, and told her how much each gift meant to him. "You're welcome, Hook... I couldn't choose just one thing. I would have gotten more if the basket was bigger." She gave him a playful wink, even though her words were totally true.
He spoke of how they had been through a lot together, and how he was glad to know her. When he kissed her on the cheek, she blushed a little and smiled, toeing lightly at the ground in an 'aww, shucks' manner. He then said that he had a gift for her, and she fluttered her lashes, looking up at him in surprise. "Aw.. Hook you didn't have to do that.." She took the velvet pouch, and pulled out the treasure that had been tucked away inside, while listening to his story of how he'd kept it with him since she helped him leave Neverland. When she pulled out the necklace, her blue eyes went wide. "Killian..." She spoke rather breathlessly, using his real name instead of the nickname he had given himself. "I..." she squeaked quietly, staring at the necklace. She knew what the flower was inside of the glass.. It was something that was only found on Neverland. He had kept it the entire time, for her. "I don't know what to say," her voice hiccuped as she tried not to cry...but it didn't last long. The tears began to flow free.
"This is the most beautiful gift I've ever gotten," She flung her arms around him giving him the biggest hug she'd ever given anyone. "Thank you, so much.. I'll cherish it forever."

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Tink explained that one didn't get into his good graces by ignoring what he liked and the words made Hook smile with amusement. "Aye," he began, agreeing with what she said. "But you went beyond superficiality, toward sentiment and high quality." Hence, the reason he loved the gifts. To hear that she was even planning to get more had there been space, only made him slightly shake his head with amusement.
"You've given me more than enough, Tink. And I sincerely thank you for it." She had gotten him the perfect gifts; ones that only someone who knew him could have known he would have liked. He didn't exactly have many he would call friend in this town. Tink was one of the very few exceptions. He then watched her reaction to the gift, smiling proudly as she seemed to truly loved it. Seeing the tears in her eyes further proved this, as did her embrace as she put her arms around him, vocalizing how it was the most beautiful gift she had ever gotten, and that she would cherish it.
He wrapped his arms around her in return, a soft smile on her lips even if she could not currently see it. "You mean a great deal to me, Tink," he told her, knowing he hadn't quite expressed that as well as he should have in the past. He had even almost feared that he had dampened their relationship when he'd made advances on her after being rejected by Swan . . . but that seemed like forever ago. And luckily, his and Tink's relationship was still in tact despite it. He slowly pulled his head back so that he could look at her, a soft smile on his lips.
"Part of me wishes you had left Neverland with me the first time, though the part of you that makes you so special, allows me to understand why you didn't." He had thought of her often, wondering if she was ok. And then seeing her again when they all went . . . well, it had given him unimaginable relief. "I'm glad you're here now." That she had come with them this time around.
