Henry was rushing to think of ideas to fill for his 'Secret Santa' present. He had been chosen to gift none other than Rumplestiltskin himself. And let's be honest, the man wasn't the easiest of people to shop for. Between his gold, jewels, and obviously Belle, it was hard for Henry to acquire any of those. But after hours of sitting down, he thought of an idea last minute, with the help of his mother Emma.
Pulling out some computer paper, Henry grabbed a bit of markers and began to work. 'How The Grinch Met Belle' he wrote across the top of the paper, before deciding against the title, it didn't show much love in it, or for that matter anything nice in it. Tossing it into the trash, Henry began working once more. 'Rumplestiltskin Finds Belle' Henry scribbled across the middle, and decided on it, he began to work on the inside. A simple comic style book about how Rumplestiltskin found love in Belle. It took a few hours to finish, but he did it, and he couldn't be happier.
Quickly fixing the book up, Henry made way to change before running outside and going to The. Gold residence. It looked very well lit for the Christmas holiday, but it appeared as if a woman had put it together, and it wasn't much of a man's doing. Making his way up the walk-way to the door, Henry knocked and hopped someone would answer.

Gold wasn't a huge fan of the holidays, and he wouldn't of even signed up for this secret santa thing if Belle didn't make him. It wasn't that he didn't have plenty to give to others, or that he was a scrooge, even if he was a villain, there was nothing wrong with a little christmas spirit, especially if it made the towns folk of Storybrooke forget, at least for a few days that they hated Rumplestiltskin. Didn't mean that Gold himself had to get jolly. In fact, if anyone was expecting him, the Dark One, to get jolly, then they were mistaken. Belle insisted on decorating their entire house, and if you didn't know that Gold lived here, you would probably think someone who wasn't considered a villain probably lived here instead.
Belle seemed to love the holidays, especially since there were a lot of books in her library written about these days. So suffice it to say, Belle had a lot of good reading material to go through over the next few weeks. Gold sat down in his chair and layed back, closing his eyes, glad to finally be able to shield them from the bright lights that seemed to illuminate the entire house. He had only began to relax when he heard a knock at his door. Wondering who it was, it didn't take him very long to go and answer it. To his slight amazement, it was Henry, his grandson, standing at his door. "Henry..." Gold began looking around for one of, or both of his mothers, but neither were to be seen. "What do I owe the pleasure of your visit?" He asked him, managing a small smile. He had to admit, he was never much of a grandfather, but perhaps he could change that and turn things around with Henry?

As Henry was about to turn around, and go home feeling as if he made the wrong decision, and thought best to come at a later date. But it was too late, someone inside had heard him, and he could hear the handle to the door twisting. Closing his eyes, Henry tried to not imagine his grandfather when he saw Henry. He would probably be mad, but to his surprise, when he answered normally, and not upset Henry let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh, hello. I brought you a gift." Henry said and he showed a messy, last second, thrown together wrapped up gift. "Sorry the wrapping isn't very good. I just did that right before I came, and I don't usually do the wrapping of gifts" Henry said happily, and he handed the gift over. "It's just a little something I got you for Christmas. I mean you are my grandfather and all." Henry said honestly, "I also got your name for secret Santa" Henry finished tucking his hands inside of his pockets.
"do you know how hard it is for someone my age to get you a gift? I mean I could have always kidnapped Belle, and gave her back for Christmas, but that's more not my style" Henry joked, trying to lighten the mood, and distract from his horribly wrapped Christmas present.

"Hello, dearie." Gold replied to Henry. He nodded at Henry as he said that the reason he stopped by was to give him a gift. He then apologized for the wrapping. "It is ok Henry." Gold replied, taking the gift from Henry when he handed it to him. He then went on to explain that he got if for two reasons, one cause Gold was his grandfather, and two, because Henry got Gold for the secret santa. The old Gold would of been paranoid that Henry only got him something because he had to, not because he wanted to. But that was the man that let Baelfire go all those years ago, not the man that met and fell in love with Belle.
"I appreciate it Henry." Mr. Gold replied. He began unwrapping the gift to see it was a handwritten book by Henry on how Rumplestiltskin met Belle. He was only half listening to Henry explain that it was hard to buy a gift for Gold when your Henry's age. "I was thinking the same thing about you." Gold admitted. He wondered what he was gonna buy Henry for Christmas. He knew Henry liked comic books, but he didn't know a thing about comic books, so he had no idea what kind to even get Henry, so he was actually glad he drew someone else for Secret Santa, so that he could have more time to think about what to get for Henry.
"Thank you Henry." Gold told him, actually being genuine. "You are quite the artist Henry." Gold told him. Before continuing he reached a hand out and patted Henry gently on the shoulder. "Want to come in, I can whip us up some hot chocolate, though I must confess my culinary skills are not on par with Granny's diner." Gold offered him.

Henry smiled to the man who stood before him. He watched as Rumple began to open the gift, slightly nervous, but excited at the same time to see what his grandfather had thought of the gift. He wasn't sure if it was good enough for Rumple's high standards, but Henry had to try. Right? It couldn't be so bad that he would throw it away, or so he hoped.
When Rumple had looked it over, Henry nodded. "You're welcome. I'm glad you like it. And thanks. The art was fun to draw for it." Henry smiled, and when his grandfather reached his hand out, Henry was slightly nervous, but his nerves faded quickly. "Sure. That'd be awesome. And do you have any cinnamon? You have to try cinnamon in yours" Henry laughed, and looked down to his shoes, before back up to his grandfather. "I don't think it's possible to mess up on hot chocolate really."
