It's Always Nice
TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION
There was much about this current scenario that was very . . . unexpected. Hell, even the greatest seer in all the realms wouldn't have been able to foresee this one. Hook was currently on his way to Gold's shop, owned by none other than the Crocodile himself. That was the first surprising aspect of this. The second was that he was actually planning on being in the Dark One's company, and neither of them would try to kill each other. This was arguably the most shocking of all circumstances that helped contribute to this bizarre situation. The third . . . was the purpose of their being there. And it involved Storybrooke's favorite young lad: Henry Mills.
Apparently, Henry had been starting to notice, women. And Emma had asked Killian to speak to him about it. Which made sense of course, considering Killian's many experience with them. Of course he wouldn't exactly boast about that. He had formed a bond with the boy and wasn't about to destroy it by saying the wrong thing -- which could also potentially ruin his relationship with Emma which was going quite well. So he would have a chat with the boy, since there was no other father figure in his life . . . except for David, but he had been otherwise occupied tonight. Killian was going to surprise Henry by taking him out for dinner and talking about . . . things. Masculine things. Truth be told, Hook had absolutely no clue how this was going to go. But there was only one way to find out.
He opened the door to the shop that would be closing in a few moments, and saw Henry and of course, the Crocodile. Hook ignored him and turned his attention to the boy. "Evening, mate," Hook greeted. "Thought I would take you out for dinner tonight. That is, if you're up for it and the Croco--" Hook paused for a moment, knowing he would have to play nice in the boy's presence. "Mr. Gold hasn't been working you too hard," he corrected, shooting a brief glance at the owner of the shop before turning his gaze onto Henry.
