Emma had been quite excited to receive the name of her friend Elsa in the Secret Santa thing that everyone seemed to want to participate in. She had no idea what she would have done if she had gotten Rumple's name or something. There were definitely far worse ways this could have gone. So, while she was happy, she was rather confused on what to get her. She and Elsa were good friends, of course, but that didn't mean that she knew exactly what to get for her... so, she went with something sentimental. It's what she preferred to do when buying gifts for people, especially now.
Finally, the idea had come to her. So, with a small gift bag in hand, she walked to where Elsa was staying - likely with Anna now - and knocked on the door. Of course she was nervous, hoping that Elsa would like the gift, but she also hoped that the reason for getting it would come across. The two of them, as much as she didn't want to admit it, did have a bond. Ingrid had been right in that fact. Even though they were always going to have family that loved them, Elsa and Emma would always have a family type of connection as well that Emma wouldn't ignore. She learned to appreciate things like family and friends, and she was sure that Elsa had, too. "Elsa?" She called. "It's Emma."

Elsa was not yet used to the way her life was going. She had recently found Anna, yes, but that didn't mean that things were any easier for her right now. Well, they were a little better, but they still couldn't find Kristoff. Anna was worrying about him every single second and was probably off worrying now.
Elsa heard a knock on the door and quickly straightened herself up, trying not to show her obvious discouraged attitude. She opened the door and allowed a large smile to play across her face. "Emma! Come in, come in." she stepped aside to make room for her dear friend.

Emma walked inside when Elsa welcomed her in. "Hey, I know this is a bad time with Anna's fiance being gone...but uh," She lifted up the bag, and wiggled it a little. "I brought you something. Turns out I got you in the Secret Santa thing." She gave her friend a smile, and held the bag out to her. "I hope you like it." She took a deep breath, waiting for her to open her gift. She was never good at buying presents.. She never had to, until she came to Storybrooke. When Elsa opened the gift, she'd see a white gold, diamond encrusted tennis bracelet. There were two of them. "One is for you, and one is for Anna. I thought Ingrid kind of had a sweet idea.. something to bond you two together. Not by magic or anything else..but something that will always keep the two of you together." She gave her a small smile. "That, and I heard that Anna didn't have time to get in to the Secret Santa stuff, and I didn't want her to feel left out at all." Bracelet!

Those two words 'secret santa' nearly made Elsa wince. She didn't want to think about her Secret Santa assignment at the moment. She smiled happily though, knowing that Emma had received her name. She clasped her hands together and placed them over her heart, "That's lovely, Emma!" she said, "I can't wait to see what you thought up."
Elsa took the bag from her friends hand and gingerly opened it. She pulled out a beautiful crystal bracelet that seemed to be braided within itself. Then she realized there was another in the bag. She glanced up at Emma with a cocked eyebrow in time to hear Emmas explanation.
She reached out and gently placed her free hand on Emmas shoulder, "This means a lot, Emma." She took her hand back in order to slip the bracelet onto her wrist, only to pull Emma into a close hug. Truthfully, Elsa loved Anna and would do anything for her, but Emma was the best friend she ever had. Sure, she was close to Anna but she hadn't really had her sister all to herself since before Annas memories of her powers were erased years ago. Now, with the Hans thing and with Kristoff around, it was hard to get just sister time. The girls still found time, of course, but this was different. This was a sisterhood formed out of nothing, meaning there was no blood that bound them together. There was so much more than that... even if it was partly Ingrids doing.
Elsa felt tear prick her eye. Now, that wasn't necessary! Why was she crying now? Maye it was because she felt as though she finally had found something... constant. Something that wasn't going to melt away or dissipate or disappear for hundreds of years. Elsa felt her heart beating in her throat and she dropped the bag pulling Emma even closer.
"I..." she didn't know what to say next. A part of her wanted to scream all of the things that plagued her mind. Her parents shutting her out, though they were just trying to help, but they went about it all wrong. The years she had shunned Anna because of fear. When she had looked to Ingrid for guidance and that complicated her life even more. And now, as of yesterday, finding out that her childhood hero and 'imaginary' friend, Jack Frost, had been watching her the whole time. She bit her lip, trying not to explode.

mma could tell that she was happy about the gift that she had given Elsa, as well as Anna. She wished that she had a sister.. a bond like that.. but Elsa was the closest, and best thing she could ever ask for in that sense. She hoped that one day, she and Anna could be the same way. When Elsa hugged her, she wrapped her arms around the girl and returned the hug happily. The hug lasted for a little longer than Emma thought it would.. and not that she was complaining, but it seemed that Elsa needed the hug. Something was on her friend's mind, and she needed to get it out.
"Elsa.. is everything okay?" She asked, gently patting Elsa's back. She was never great at comforting people..but she had gotten far, far better at it. "You can talk to me, you know. If something is stressing you out, it's best to talk about it. At least that's what everyone always tells me." She grinned a little, then leaned back to see Elsa's face. She'd be able to tell if there really was something wrong. It was her lie detecting 'superpower' as she once told Henry.

Elsa shook her head against Emmas shoulder, not ready yet to pull away or answer her question. She bit her lip even harder as Emma rubbed her back, assuring her that Elsa could talk to her about anything. When Emma leaned back to look into Elsas face, Elas hurriedly freed a hand to wipe a stray tear that had fallen. She shook her head a little and then glanced at the couch. "Do you mind?" she gestured to the furniture and gave Emmas arm one last squeeze before crossing over and sitting down.
She placed her face in her hands and then ran her fingers through her hair, looking up at Emma. "I, too, agree that it is best to talk about it. I've been on the other side of that before-the not talking about it-and," Elsa shook her head and sighed, "That never helped anything." She knew that better than anyone.
She chuckled nervously for a moment, smiling up at Emma with a 'what-can-we-do-about-it' smile. "There is one thing that is... plaguing me more-so than others..." how was she going to explain this without sounding like a complete lunatic? It was... insane. Truthfully. But what was she supposed to do about that now? It was already said and done. It was already reality. Sort of. "Have you ever had an imaginary friend? I did. I really did and... now he's... real? Oh Gods," she put her head in her hands again. This was going to be impossible to explain.
