Robin had just left from checking in on his wife, his eyes felt heavy as he had spent the night awake, sitting next to Marian as he tried anything he could think of to awake his frozen wife. His son, Roland, was beginning to feel the pain of having his mother taken away from him once more, after she had been brought back. His son was very unhappy without his mother, but thankfully Regina seemed to help the sorrow in the young boys heart.
Robin knew the person he was after right now was a longshot, especially since the one he was looking for did not know Robin all so well, and she had not been the one to cast the curse on his beloved wife, but he had no option. Circumstances were dire, and Robin was in need of help. Making it outside, and adjusting his shirt; Robin made his way to the queen of this Arendelle place, as she could possibly help. But thankfully, she was in this realm, not far away.
After having found her, Robin walked up and cleared his throat. "Excuse me miss, would you happen to be Elsa?" Robin asked softly as he looked to his hands before back to Elsa. Robin was very nervous, especially asking for help from a woman he had never exactly spoken to.

Elsa whipped around as someone address her. She recognized him, but she didn't know him very well. She knew that he was in a rather complicated situation with Regina at the moment... but she didn't know much else. She jumped a little as he cleared his throat, placing a hand over her heart. "Oh, you startles me," she said with a slightly nervous chuckle.
She then bowed slightly and smiled at him awkwardly, "I'm Elsa, yes. Can I... help you?" she was wary of this man. Mostly because her and Regina were still learning to be friends and she didn't want to accidentally say something stupid around him that Regina might here and get crazy about. The woman was a lot like Elsa. She seemed to really care what others thought, but didn't want people to think that she cared.

Robin stepped back a bit as Elsa mentioned that he had startled her, he wasn't aiming for that at all. And next time, he would be sure to not startle her, especially her as with a quick move she could summon another snow monster, or freeze people, or anything of the sort. With a nod, Robin smiled gently.
"Yes. My name is Robin. I'm sure you are familiar with me. I know we don't speak much, well... ever. But I need your help. You see, my wife, she has been frozen, and I wanted to know if you could maybe possibly unfreeze her?" Robin asked a bit hesitantly. "I am in a very hard situation, and my son really misses his mother." Robin mentioned, hoping maybe the fact of his son would help entice the queen to help him.

Truthfully, Elsa was easily startled. She had spent most of her young life all alone in her room not really having anyone around. It was still a little strange, getting used to people being able to address her without knocking first or with special permission from her parents... she had a little whiles experience with the social scene, but it could still catch her off guard.
Still, Robin seemed nice enough. He smiled and she nodded as he spoke. As the story went on, she leaned in closer making sure to catch every word. He sounded like he has such faith in her ability to do this but... she just shook her head. "Robin I..." she thought about the boy, and felt her stomach flip over. His son was probably feeling so miserable and hopeless. "Good Sir, I have experienced this before and... there is nothing I can do. I mean-" she stopped and sighed, "Take me to her and I'll see what I can come up with."

Robin listened to Elsa speak, remaining hopeful of the woman before him. He hoped this would work and she could do so, his son depended on it. With a smile on his face, Robin heard Else speak those dreadful words 'there is nothing I can do'. Making his stomach flip, Robin lost his smile, and he felt quite sick. A little discouraged, Robin didn't let it damper his hopes. He knew he would find a way, if he had to drag the answer out of someone, someone in Storybrooke had to know a way to melt the ice that held Marian captive. But just as he was about to speak, Elsa said she would try. With a wide smile, Robin nodded. "Thank you Elsa, from the bottom of my heart. She is right this way. I'll lead you to her. She is at Regina's place on a couch, laying there." Robin said as he turned. He wanted to hug Elsa for agreeing to help his family. He needed it for his son, but Robin somewhat wanted Marian to be unfrozen himself. But some of him, more than half, wanted Marian to remain frozen so he could continue his relationship with Regina.

When Robins smile faded away at her words Elsa felt terrible. She didn't want to disappoint him but... she knew that she wouldn't be able to help. Heck, Anna had to sacrifice her lap at sword-point to save her own frozen heart. If Marian was already ice... well... it may be too late for her. But Elsa wasn't going to say that. Not now. Not while Robin looked so discouraged, yet hopeful at the same time.
His smile returned, widely so, and that made her feel a little better. She nodded as she spoke, turning toward Reginas house. "I will see what i can do, I promise." She walked beside him and, for a brief moment, rested her hand on his shoulder as if to comfort him.

Robin felt good to know that Elsa would help him as much as she could, so he could try and get his wife back from inside the ice that held her. Leading the way down the road, Robin nodded. "Thank you. I will find a way to repay your for your kind actions as well." Robin said as he looked to his shoulder, where Elsa's hand was.
It felt weird to have someone care, and try to help even if they thought they couldn't help. Espcially someone who was doing it from the kindness of their heart, and helping someone they knew little of.

Elsas hand did not linger, however, for physical contact was not something she was especially fond of or good at. Sure when it came to Anna or Emma she didn't have a problem... but touching others? It didn't come as naturally. She was willing to show her support for Robin, though. She knew exactly what he was growing through. Anna had been a human ice sculpture once before, that is not something you easily forget. However, it didn't last as long as Marians plague was...
As they crossed to Reginas house, Elsa stopped on the porch, "You only need to repay me if I succeed in helping you. No need to repay me for my willingness," she gave him a humble nod before gesturing to the door.

Robin walked in silence to Regina's house. He kept thinking of Marian in his head, and how he just wished she would unfreeze. Sadly, he wasn't so thrilled to see wishing, and hoping didn't melt her frozen form in the slightest bit. When they had arrived to Regina's, and Elsa stopped, Robin stopped himself and looked to Elsa.
"Alright. You have yourself a deal. I thank you for the help." Robin pushed the door open, and made way to the room to the left, which his wife Marian lay cold on the couch. "She is right in here." Robin mention as he kneel next to Marian.

"Your welcome," she said, the words catching in her throat. The truth was she really didn't know what she could do about this. Anna had still been able to function and performed an act of true love. But Marian...
Elsa walked in to see her, lying on the couch, an ice cold statue. Elsa stepped closer until she was gently bending over beside her, putting a hand on her head. "And your son... he couldn't do anything?" she asked. That wouldn't have been her 'go to' true loves act, but she didn't want to bring up her first choice. As in, why couldn't Robin fix this?

Robin was very happy to have Elsa there to help. Even if she couldn't unfreeze her, it felt good to know that someone would attempt to help. It was just an all around nice thing that the girl could do for him, especially being strangers.
Looking to his wife lay there made Robin sad to see, but it wasn't the same anymore, though he still wanted her unfrozen for his son. "My son cannot. Nobody can. I thought since you are ice, maybe you could possibly undo the spell that put her in this?"

Elsa looked down at the woman and resisted the urge to shake her head. She at least had to try, right? She nodded at Robin as she laid her hands over Marians heart. She concentrated hard. Love will thaw. Love will thaw, she chanted. Soon, a faint glow emanated from her fingertips....
It didn't last long however and soon Elsa was pulling her hands back. She set them on her lap where she kneeled."It's not up to me to save her, Robin. She... she didn't want to say it was hopeless but... Wasn't it? "I mean I don't know her enough to love her in a way that will fix this." She did not look at him as she spoke.

Sighing, Robin listened to Elsa as she spoke, trying to unfreeze Marian. He saw her fingers glow, and he felt as if Elsa could it, could cure Marians frozen heart. But sadly, it was short lived and it didn't work. With a nod, Robin scratched his chin.
"I know. It's ok. I thank you for trying, Elsa. I just, I don't know who could save her." Robin looked down to his wife Marian, and he spoke again. "Who would you suggest that could save her?"

Elsa shook her head and reached over, placing a hand on Robins arm. "Well... have you tried?" she had to ask, it was the obvious answer. Sisterly love saved Anna, but that was Anna acting of her own accord, that was stronger. She was making the choice to thaw her heart, and that was why it worked. Marian didn't have that option.
"I don't mean to pry, but if your son couldn't do anything, you're the next best option but..." she figured he had tried already. Why wouldn't he? he wouldn't just be sitting around waiting for someone else to do something if he had already tried. "That was a dumb question, I'm sorry." She tightened her grip on his arm a little reassuringly.
