.:Name:. Lumiere Paquet .:Nick Name:. The Candelabra .:Affiliation:. Hero .:Status:. Civilian
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Lumiere just wears whatever looks good at the moment. Sometimes it's jeans and a hoodie, other times its suit with a fedora. It all depends on the activity and which looks he is going for. He also has a tendency to dress in whatever style his romantic interest dresses in. Whether it be casual or formal. When in the Enchanted forest, he wore the finest he could afford, and perhaps even spent too much money on it. If there is one thing you can count on with Lumiere, it's that he always wears fantastic shoes. His hair is basically his baby, and he makes sure it always looks as fantastic and light as possible. .:Height:. 6' 0" .:Portrayed by:. Henri Lubatti

.:Personality:. Lumiere is a suave and debonair. He is rebellious, charismatic and kind-hearted. He is disobedient a lot of the time but he only rebels if it is for the greater good, or if it's more fun! He's a free-spirit but cares for others and loves helping people out if he can. He is upbeat, charming and loving. He believes that love is the greatest of all magics and is a hopeless romantic, in a very farcical and silly way. Even though he is a great person, he doesn't have his flaws. He can be a pushover when forced into something and rarely stands up for himself unless the welfare of someone else is involved. .:Strengths:. Charming, Charismatic, Kind, Upbeat, Humorous, Generous, Light Hearted .:Weaknesses:. Cowardly, Prideful, Easily Persuaded.

.:Birthplace:. The Enchanted Forest, Belles Kingdom .:Family:. Deceased .:Occupation:. Event Planner .:History:. Lumiere was a concierge in his prime. His job was to know everything about all the best pubs, balls and other events going on in the kingdom he lived in. He had his own office, so to speak, where he was visited by the rich and high class members of society looking for something exciting to do. Since he was in the business of entertainment, he was also very well integrated into society. He knew everything there was to know about everyone, well, at least the things that were shallow and gossip worthy.
Soon, he was introduced to a Lord and his family who became some of his most prominent clients. During his acquaintance with them, he started to fall madly in love with the eldest daughter who was only a few years younger than he. He tried to woo her, but she barely noticed a thing. But, her father did. Her father was furious and told him that if he didn't stop loving the girl than he would put him out of business. Lumiere tried for quite some time, but his emotions got the best of him and he was caught going after her once more. Her father spread rumors about him and soon no one would set foot in his business, he had to close it down.
Jobless and penniless, he wandered the enchanted forest looking for somewhere to call home. Somewhere that the Lord hadn't spread rumors about him. Soon, Lumiere came upon a very strange mansion that was a ways away from the rest of civilization. Perhaps the lies hadn't reached this mans ears? Lumiere took a chance and knocked on the door. A man with Golden Skin answered, and Lumiere was almost tempted to run, but the man offered him a job as a live in butler. Lumiere had to accept.
As the two got to know each other, Rumple found out the story being Lumieres situation, and Lumiere discovered his masters skill with magic. The two had a lot of conversations and were almost friends, one could say. Soon, Lumiere asked Rumple to help him win the heart of this girl, for he trusted his master at this point. Rumple said he would try, but love was a tricky and fickle thing. He said he would help Lumiere and Lumiere would owe him. Lumiere agreed, of course, he loved her! Even if she didn't love him back. Rumple gave him a magic bracelet, and told him to put it on the girls wrist while reciting an incantation. The two men said goodbye and separated.
Before Lumiere reached the girl, her father found him and chased him out of the kingdom. He was too scared to go back to Rumple or to pursue the girl. He was on his own Once more. Some time past before anything notable happened in Lumieres life again, and that was when the witch Zelena turned him into a candelabra and placed him inside Rumpelstiltskins mansion. She promised to return him to human form after he helped her revive the dark one. Lumiere did as she asked, deceiving Belle and Neal into thinking that this was Rumples doing. Truthfully, he didn't blame him, but he knew that he could turn him back into his normal self.
Belle carried the candelabra as he led them through a series of clues to revive the Dark One. After he helps them, Neal returns him to the shelf where he was placed and leaves only for the Wicked Witch to arrive and demand for of Lumiere before turning him back into human form. After being caught in a lie when Bella and Neal return to fetch him, he reveals Zelinas plan to control the Dark One and tells them that is what he has been leading them to all along. Neal doesn't care about this, and opens the vault and revives Rumpelstiltskin. As Zelina controls Rumpelstiltskin, trying to force him to kill Belle, Lumiere send blasts of flame toward her, finding her newly found courage, and Belle runs, taking Lumiere with her.
For a while Lumiere was just another candelabra in the library, watching Zelinas plans unfold. Finally, when she was defeated and Rumpelstiltskin was freed, he came back to turn Lumiere into human form once more.

It was strange being human again, but it was a good opportunity for him to finally see Storybrooke for himself! He stretched his legs and took a look around. Where should he go first? He started by heading to the nearest clothing store and getting something suitable, along with a fancy fedora hat. This was going to be fun! All the people he would finally meet! All the things he could finally see! he skipped down the streets of Storybrooke, trying to decide where to go next.
Soon, he found himself standing in front of Mr. Golds pawnshop. That was his old Master's, Rumpelstiltskin, name here in Storybrooke. He pushed the door open slowly. Around him were all sort of different things, things that Lumiere had seen before and some things that he hadn't. He looked around frantically, for the old clock that used to sit on a shelf in the mansion. He had become friends with the man before he was turned into a clock. Now he realized, he didn't even know if Cogsworth was here.
