PROFILE TIPS

- Colored Usernames: This is for members who's character applications have been approved! You will receive a PM that will allow you to select a color unique to you that your username will be. You do not have to necessarily post everything in this color if you prefer not to; it's just something to help your profile and posts stand out. We ask that members please not select the same colors as another. On the posting page, there is a Member Colors drop down menu; you can see all the taken colors there.
- Custom Title: This is the text that appears above your avatar/icon. Again, it will be added in once your bio is approved. For characters who have a second name (i.e. Snow White/Mary Margaret, Regina Mills/Evil Queen, etc), your custom title will be your character's second name. If your character does not have a second name then you can either make one up or you have the freedom to choose what you would like your custom title to be.
- Personal Text: This is the text that appears below your avatar. Typically, it is a quote from your character or a quote that describes them. Perhaps it could even be a tagline. Either way, it is something related to your character. There is a limit as to how many characters you can have in your personal text. You are also able to color your text using the basic code to do so.
- Affiliation: If you go to Profile >> Edit Profile >> Personal and scroll down, you will see a section that says "Affiliation" and a drop down menu. Here, you can select whether your character is one of the following:
- Hero: this is for the characters who are considered to be heroes (i.e. Charming, Snow, etc).
- Villain: this is for the characters who are considered to be villains (i.e. Zelena, Cora, etc).
- Neither: this is for the characters who don't necessarily have an affiliation toward one side; they may be loyal only to themselves or loyal to a certain person (i.e Hook, Will, etc).
- Unsure : this is for the characters who may be neither a hero or a villain, but maybe somewhere in between or someone who has switched between the two sides; characters who are uncertain as to where their affiliations fall (i.e. Regina, Rumple, etc)
Your Affiliation can be changed whenever you like. The one that you select for your profile, does not mean that you are limited to threads where your character is affiliated with that group. For example: If your character is Regina and you selected Villain, you can still have threads as her where she is more of a good guy. "Save Personal Settings" when you've added it in.
[li]Status: If you go to Profile >> Edit Profile >> Personal and scroll down, you will see a section that says "Status" and a drop down menu. Here, you can select whether your character is one of the following:
- Royal: this is for the characters who are royalty in whichever realm they are from (i.e. kings, queens, princess, princes, etc)
- Noble: this is for the characters who are nobles in whichever realm they are from (i.e. knights, ladies, dukes, etc).
- Civilian: this is for the characters who are regular citizens of a land, be it in another realm or Storybrooke (i.e. farmers, peasants, citizens, etc).
- Nomad: this is for the characters who are travelers and move around quite a bit, not exactly stationed in one location (i.e. pirates, mercenaries, etc).
[li]Occupation: This is a blank space where you can enter what your character's occupation is. Are they a king? A sheriff? A store owner? A librarian? You can fill out whatever you like here, please just ensure that it is consistent with your bio.[/li][/ul][/blockquote]
