a woman AS BEAUTIFUL AS YOU DESERVES MY FULL AND PROMPT ATTENTION Killian was without doubt a sea man. He enjoyed being out in the open blue however, when he was forced to become grounded on land he preferred being in one particular place: the tavern. And that was where he found himself tonight. Upon first entering, he had greeted the bar keepers, ensuring that the bottom of his pitcher was never seen. The barmaids were also an enjoyable sight, the women looking rather tempting . . . for he and his men often grew starved for such company after being on sea for so long. He had found himself a table, and enjoyed a gambling game, drink, and the company surrounding him.
Killian also enjoyed attention, and so one of the things he would do in such an environment was tell tales of his and the Jolly Roger's adventures. It often captivated a crowd, and so he ensured that his adventurous story was not short of being engaging and kept the attention of everyone listening. He was currently finishing a recent tale of how they battled a large sea creature: The Loch Ness Monster. Sometimes he exaggerated the story, but they were all true, and this one was no exception. Though it hardly need be dramatized. It had been quite the fight and as always, the Jolly Roger proved why she was the most exceptional ship known to any man.
When the tale ended, the crowd began to somewhat disperse, though as Killian was a man in constant company, there were still those surrounding him. He raised his mug of rum, getting ready to toast in a cheer. "To a pirate's life!" He announced. Those around him, and some others in the tavern repeated his toast -- even if they weren't all pirates. And with that, Killian took a rather large swig of his drink, slamming it down no the table and motioning for one of the men to bring dice so that they could start a game.

Milah was getting a bit sick of being a waitress. Sure, it was an escape away from the home life that she didn't want to deal with, but she could only take so much ass slapping and being pulled down on random stranger's laps. Tonight the normal crowd of barbarians and soldiers were put on the back burner though, because there was a group of rather rowdy pirates that seemed to have swarmed in to the tavern. Although she was making an attempt at concentrating on carrying several mugs of ale and rum to each table - keeping it flowing like the sea, as they had commanded, she was rather entranced by the group and the stories that the Captain told. The sheer freedom that they exuded was enough to give Milah a high that she had never quite experienced. 'A pirate's life for me!' the man who told the tale of the Monster of Loch Ness shouted. It sent a shiver through her entire body. How she wished she could say that.
Deciding she was now off the clock, she placed the tray of alcohol down on the table that most of the pirates were sitting at. No one else was working at this point..why should she? The other barmaids were sitting on the laps of the pirates, or otherwise swooning over them. Milah was merely curious and made no move to climb all over them. However, the Captain of the crew was incredibly devilishly handsome.. and if she were to really admit it to herself, she was entirely too captivated with him. "You must grow tired of telling stories of great adventure time after time, Captain," Milah mused, snatching a set of dice from a table that had been abandoned hours ago. "Care for entertainment of a different sort? How about a game of Liar's Dice?" She asked with a cocky grin.
It was a game of pirates, and travelers who had picked it up on their adventures. She had been watching silently, learning how to play. Now it was time to show off her own talents. She tossed the dice on the table, and quirked a brow. "Are you up for it?" She asked with a mischievous smile, finally catching the Pirate's eyes fully for the first time..and suddenly feeling her heart swell in a terrifying way.

a woman AS BEAUTIFUL AS YOU DESERVES MY FULL AND PROMPT ATTENTION Killian was enjoying the scene, taking in the crowd, drink, and of course, feasting his eyes on the women that filled the tavern. Tonight, he did not plan to be alone. Yet the night was still young. In fact, it had only just begun. He chuckled as he listened to a joke one of the men was telling him, when he suddenly heard a woman's voice. He looked to the source, pausing as his lips touched the rim of his cup filled with rum. She too had placed a tray in front of them which meant, she was a bar maid. But that was not where Killian's attention was drawn to.
He looked at her, taking in the sight of her. She had darker features, and fair skin, the contrast adding a strong element of beauty to her already gorgeous appearance. Her eyes also complimented this contrast, as they were of a lighter color and filled with more strength behind them than he had seen in . . . well, in any other woman. "Not when it draws in company such as yourself," he told her, in regards to her words of how he must tire telling stories. Really, his words were meant as flattery. And well deserved ones at that for she was indeed, a vision of sheer beauty.
His gaze dropped to the dice she threw on the table, the side of his mouth curving into a smile before he looked up at her once again. "Well now, that depends," he began to say playfully. How bold of a woman to throw dice and offer a game. He found himself quite enjoying that boldness that she displayed, as well as her confidence. Both qualities making her even more attractive and thus, he was instantly intrigued by her. His eyes began to look over her, starting from the top and slowly lingering over every inch of her, his gaze meant to be a suggestive one, as his following words and tone matched this suggestiveness. "What can you offer me if I win?" He inquired, his eyes meeting hers once more as a smirk played on his face, clearly showing interest in more than just coin as winnings from her.
