Bang Bang He Shot Me Down Bang Bang I hit the ground
Katalina Leila Watson's first sense of feeling was coldness. As she gained consciousness, she had a hard time remembering how she got to land. Slowly she started to remember things that had happened. Blackbeard had hold of Killian's ship while Killian was in Neverland. She couldn't recall why he went, but for whatever reason, he had.
Kat's teeth chattered as she sat up, still soaking wet from the ocean. The cold was getting worse and she knew she had to do something in order to survive. She sat up, her body stiff. She had tried to protect the ship from Blackbeard but she had been overpowered. She had been tossed in a cell. But what the hell happened after that?
Katalina slumped against a tree, trying to remain conscious. Her hip was badly injured, having hit something sharp on her way out of the boat. Did she jump after she was released or did they force her? No...she was tossed overboard, but not by Blackbeard's men. She had seen them all drinking the rum that had been packed. She didn't see who it was, but it boggled her mind that someone who supposedly pledged their loyalties to Killian turned against her.
Kat had to stop thinking back and focus on what was happening now. She could hardly move. But if she didn't act soon she could die from hypothermia or blood loss. Whichever claimed her first. "Anyone out there?"

Snow drew her cloak a bit tighter around her body. It was cold in the Enchanted Forest, reminding her of the chill back in Storybrooke. The thought of the town, of Emma and Henry sent a painful pang to her chest. She knew that they were safe and happy though it didn't stop her from wishing they were with her and David. As the group stopped to make camp she offered to help gather firewood. Despite her queenly status she wanted to be useful. She'd live on her own, on the run, and was used to foraging.
As she moved through the brush she paused, hearing a noise. For a moment she reached for the bow strung over her shoulder. She realized it was a human, hearing a woman cry for help. She started to move faster toward the voice, finding a stranger sitting beneath a tree. Her gaze quickly fell to the bloodstain upon her clothing. "Are you alright?" she asked, capable of seeing that the woman wasn't. The question was something of a reflex. She knelt beside the stranger, quickly taking off her cloak to place over her.
How had the woman become soaked to the skin? "My name is Snow," she explained, trying to make sure that the woman was coherent. She couldn't help her to the camp if she passed out. "What's your name? Who did this to you?"

Bang Bang He Shot Me Down Bang Bang I hit the ground
Katalina didn't really expect anyone to be out there in the woods, and she knew that she would have to get moving. However, her lack of strength especially in her leg prevented her from moving and as it got colder, she got worse. Footsteps caused her head to snap up in surprise. Was someone actually coming to see her?
Sure as her name was Katalina Leila Watson, there was someone there, asking if she were alright. Eyebrow raised, she quipped, "Oh, yeah. I live to be in this state all the time, you know. It makes me feel alive." A slight pang of guilt hit her, because the woman was trying to take care of her, at least check to see if she were okay. She murmured an apology, as her teeth kept chattering.
The woman introduced herself as Snow and Kat blinked, thinking it an odd name. "Snow? As in, the white fluff that comes in the winter? Well, I've heard worse. And Snow is a pretty word, so it would make a pretty name," she commented, having a difficult time speaking, yet she was stubborn enough to get the words to come out.
"I'm Katalina. You can call me Kat. I don't know who did this to me, I didn't see him. I was thrown overboard." Huddling into the piece of fabric the woman had covered Katalina in, she murmured, "So, yes, you're dealing with a pirate here. I hope that's okay. Please don't run off."

Snow ignored the woman's sarcastic remark. She was concentrated on helping the woman, not being offended by her remarks. She couldn't help crack a smile at the comment on her name, despite the importance of the situation. She wasn't sure if the woman was growing delirious from the lack of blood or if she was speaking truthfully. "Well, Kat," she said, looking over the shivering woman. "It may surprise you, but I'm quite used to working with pirates." Rather 'a' pirate though she didn't feel the need to explain.
"My camp isn't too far from here," she assured her. "Do you think you can stand?" She bit her lower lip, trying to assess the damage that the girl was facing. "If not I can run back and get someone to help carry you." She wasn't sure if the pirate's pride would allow it, but she couldn't let her stumble along by herself.

Bang Bang He Shot Me Down Bang Bang I hit the ground
Katalina knew that it was probably not the wisest decision to be making other people smile, considering the danger she was currently facing, but she couldn't help it. She hated to be in the position that she would need help with anything. It made her feel less strong than she liked to appear.
The fact that Snow had worked with pirates before surprised Kat. The woman didn't look like the type to hang around ports and greet pirates. That would have been completely insane, wouldn't it? She shook her head slightly, a small smile on her lips despite the pain. "That's a relief; I won't be decapitated then when we get to wherever we can go so I can get out of these sopping wet clothes." She shuddered at the memory of the clothes dripping against her skin and making her condition worse.
Katalina looked at Snow when she questioned if she could stand. That, she really didn't know. She could try though. She yelped in pain when she moved, but she pushed through, determined not to need more help than necessary. She kept as much pressure off her injured hip as possible, using the tree for leverage. "It's going to be d-difficult to w-walk, but I-I think I can m-manage," she told the woman, teeth chattering. She was mentally begging for some sort of warmth now, because everything was starting to hurt from the cold.
