Mary Poppins strode through the streets of Storybrook. Her heels clicked against the pavement as she walked. Her eyes roamed over the shops, taking everything in. She had been here for quite some time, but she mostly kept to herself in her home on the outskirts of the woods. It was a rather large manor, and it often got lonesome. Mary followed the wind to those in need. Mostly it was children who felt unwanted, or were unruly.. but sometimes it was also parents who couldn't quite cope and needed a helping hand. Then again, there were other times when she was just needed by someone. The wind hadn't called Mary in quite some time, so she lived as a hermit, drinking tea and learning to crochet. Finally, she heard the call. Someone needed her..but it was up to Mary to figure out who it was.
There were a few children lately that were popping up in Storybrooke. Snow White and Prince Charming had a child..as did Cinderella, and Princess Aurora. Could one of those new parents be the charge? Or perhaps it was an older child? Not the son of the savoir, of that Mary was sure.. but there was something, and she'd find it. Mary hummed a small tune, carrying a carpet bag in one hand, and an umbrella in the other, allowing it to hover over her head even though there was no sign of rain.

(I wasn't sure if you were reserving this for anyone so I figured I'd post. If you are I can delete it!) "Neal, please."Snow bit her lower lip as she tried to assess the problem with her infant son. He wailed harder as the moments went on in which his mother didn't solve his issue. The woman felt panic rise in her chest as she struggled to comprehend what her son wanted. "Alright," she said, picking him up from his cradle and holding him to her chest. She struggled to think over the sound of his crying in her ear. "You're not hungry," she listed off what she already knew, trying not to think on how odd she sounded talking to an infant as if expecting him to answer. "You're not wet either."
She wasn't sure what else there was to take care of. For a moment she nearly reached for the phone to call David though she refrained. He was working and she didn't want to bother him just because she was failing at soothing their child. She tried to shush the baby but wound up only stoking his cries.

(Yay!! Thanks for replying! !! Much exciiiite. I hope you don't mind that I had Snow answer the door! >.>) Mary could have sworn she had heard the cry of a child.. usually she was never wrong about this. She listened to the wind as it rushed over her ears and through her hair. It was as though it had left a trail for her to follow, because she soon changed course and started off toward the direction she was being pulled in to. The wind led her to a small house, and inside, sure enough, there was a crying child. This was certainly the right place. Mary Poppins tucked her umbrella under the arm of the hand that held her carpet bag, and with her now empty hand, she smoothed it over her coat before lightly knocking on the door. Once the door was opened, the mother of the crying child was greeted with the absolute sweetest of smiles. "Good day.. I couldn't help but notice that your child is in distress..as are you, it seems." Again, she smiled kindly. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mary Poppins. I am a nanny, and I am here to assist you."
