i'm waking up to ash and dust I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust, I'm breathing in the chemicals. I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus, this is it, the apocalypse. The Wicked Witch remained bitter behind bars within the Sheriff's office as it appeared that her reign of terror had finally come to a climatic end. How could this happen? How could she be so close to victory that she could taste it on the tip of her tongue... yet come up short at the very last second? She wasted her time within the cells asking herself similar questions, unable to even fathom her eventual defeat. However, just as her mind trailed elsewhere, Zelena didn't need her magic to sense an individual approaching.
She braced herself, originally expecting the worst. She knew that after playing a major role in the death of Neal, Rumple wouldn't hesitate to paint the Sheriff's office walls with her blood. "Hello? Who's there?" she trembled, feeling helpless behind the cold, steel bars that held her captive.

a villain is JUST A VICTIM WHOSE STORY HASN'T BEEN TOLD Hook had apparently drawn the short straw . . . whatever the hell that meant. It seemed to be a figure of speech for he was currently tasked with keeping an eye on Zelena. He supposed on the one hand, it meant that the others trusted him enough to keep an eye on her. Trust for him was slightly tenuous, considering he had kept the curse of his lips from them.
But maybe this was a sign that they still had a little trust . . , that, or the exact opposite and that he was here because they did not trust him to do anything else. Whatever the reason, Hook did not dispute and he agreed to keeping watch over Zelena. It was not just about making sure she didn't escape; it was also about ensuring that no one came to try and kill her while imprisoned.
Had Hook been any less reformed than he was, he would have been high at the top of that list. She had used his love for Emma against him, cursing his lips to try and manipulate her into losing her powers. In addition to that, she had played a part in Bae's death . . . so yes, there was indeed reason to want her dead. But Hook would not succumb to this temptation. He was a different man now and he wasn't about to undo everything just for the sake of satisfying his revenge. Emma would never forgive him for that. He made his way over to the cell, standing a fair distance away from bars.
He had heard her call out just moments before, having heard someone and now, here he stood, looking at the most recent villain who had terrorized Storybrooke. "Funny how quickly the tables turned, eh," he stated. There was nothing funny about it and his tone and expression lacked any joviality. He wasn't one to gloat . . . yet. For the time being, his anger was first and foremost. Anger for what she did to him, tried to do to Emma, and ultimately did to Bae.

Zelena glanced towards Hook as a somewhat relieved sigh parted from her lips. While Killian was quite the savage pirate during cloudy past, there wasn't anything he could do without the use of magic, not while the jail cell key resided in Emma's possession at least. She looked the man up and down, sensing a certain anger brewing inside of him and almost grew joyous of it. "Save your breath, pirate. If you've come here to gloat then I can assure you that I have no interest in listening to it." she spat, in a venomous tone. After her big scheme to turn back time had seemingly failed, Zelena was certainly in no mood to hear the gloating.
"Better yet, why are you here? Shouldn't you be busy with that little wench of yours?" she taunted. If Zelena knew anything about the likes of Captain Hook, she knew that Emma was his undeniable weakness. She shot the pirate a menacing grin from the comfort of her jail cell bed, hoping to at least agitate him somewhat.

Note: No problem!! Though I should also be apologizing as well for my delayed response! I guess we're even? hahah! a villain is JUST A VICTIM WHOSE STORY HASN'T BEEN TOLD The witch spoke of how she had no desire to listen to him gloat, and Hook only smirked in response. "Unfortunately for you, it doesn't seem you have much of a choice," he retorted. "You are after all in a position where it is a tad bit difficult to avoid me." Seeing as she was locked in a jail cell. It seemed her defiance was hardly diminished despite her defeat. That didn't come as a surprise, like mother like daughter. In fact, the entire family had that in common. He had willingly worked along with Cora and Regina when they were attempting to carry out their devious plots. Zelena was the first one who he had been severely forced to work with . . . even though he hadn't given in to her demands.
She then questioned his reasons for being here and the moment she called Emma a wench, his expression turned into a more serious one, clenching his jaw in response. She had preyed on his love for Emma and used it against him in such a way that was unforgivable. For all Zelena was responsible for, Killian detested her. "The others are ensuring everything in town is in order once again following your defeat." A reminder, that she had lost. Hearing her refer to Emma as such a term was infuriating. But he also knew that if he argued it, he would be feeding into what she wanted. "As much as you deserve death for what you have done, I'm here to not only make certain you don't escape, but also that no one comes here to finish you off." Mainly, one person in particular . . . someone they were both aware of. "Don't make me change my mind," he added on, the thought of Rumple coming here to destroy her an oh so tempting one.
