It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Killian had experienced a lot of close calls with death, but this had perhaps been the closest. Then again, he had been in an almost exactly same position before . . . The Dark One had his heart, the Dark One was about to crush it, and then he was interrupted. This time, the interruption had initially been Emma and Snow, though it was Belle who brought to an end. The last time . . . it had been Milah who ceased Rumple's actions. Never the matter, the point was, Killian had survived yet again, his words to Emma of how he was a survivor constantly proving to be true. He wasn't going to leave this world without a fight, especially not now when he had more reason than ever to live. Things were going well. His heart was in his chest, the Dark One was gone, his relationship was in tact . . . things were finally back to normal.
Even though Killian knew that normal wasn't exactly the norm in this town. Soon enough, there would be another threat or curse looming, so he may as well enjoy whatever moments of peace he now had. Doing just that, he was currently going for a walk, perhaps to Granny's for a coffee while the others -- mainly Emma -- was busy. During his walk, he noticed someone. He had not been fully introduced to her, but he knew who she was. She was Anna, Elsa's sister, the one that the queen had been so desperate to find. He had also known that she'd played a part in exposing the Dark One and what his true intentions were. He owed her gratitude for that, and in the pirate's reformation, he was not above expressing gratitude where it was due.
He made his way over to her, deciding that now was better a time than ever, since he was unsure as to how long she and her sister would be remaining in Storybrooke. "Greetings," he said, moving to first stand alongside her before standing in front of her. "Anna, isn't it?" He asked, just wanting to confirm before he made a fool of himself in case he was somehow mistaken.

------------------------------------------------------- Anna had been walking around enjoying her quiet time things have been crazy since she had been here. So many new things to take in, a part of it was so overwhelming. Leaning against the wall close to Granny's just taking in the sites from her post. The day was calm which was a nice change. Being able to just stand still a moment, something Anna was not use to, a young women always on the move and this time she was just standing still. Her mother had told her that it was good once in while so not to pass by the little things that truly make up the beauty of the world. With her hands behind her back she rested her head against the wall.
Though out of the silence her name sliced through the air. Looking over she smiled at the man who had approached her. "Hello, yes you are correct." her smile was kind as usual. "What can I help you with?" She asked curiously as her body shifted to look at him with a better posture. Everyone here was so kind she felt comfortable and un-threatened. Despite everything that had happened. Her hands still behind her back she tilted her head with a sweet smile on her pink lips. Her hair pulled into her usual two braids. Her cloak hung loosely around her body. Anna recognized him, he was with the blond sheriff. Names were tricky though, meeting so many new people it was hard to keep track of sometimes. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Killian Jones Notes: *Dances* -------------------------------------------------------

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Killian returned the smile, one that came with far more ease and sincerity now that he had the organ that contained his emotions, rather than just be an empty vessel enslaved to the Dark One. "Killian," he introduced, aware that they had not properly met before. He had of course seen her around, but the opportunity to talk to her had not presented itself . . . until now. And at least she was alone so that it would allow them to have a conversation.
"I wanted to thank you," he began to tell her. Had he not been reformed to the man he was today, expressing gratitude or apology was not something he often partook in. But now, he was willing to express it when it was due and he most certainly owed Anna and Belle his gratitude. "Had you not vocalized what you knew about the Dark One, we all would have fallen victim to his wrath." Killian's gratitude both encompassed her actions that had saved the town, as well as him personally since it was his heart that Rumple needed to complete the spell. "Especially me," he added on, his expression and tone holding a bit of amusement despite the morbid reality of his very near death experience.

------------------------------------------------------- Killian had introduced himself and Anna lit up with a smile from ear to ear "Oh! Hello!" She said with enthusiasm. It was nice to finally meet him, she had seen him around the town but never really had the opportunity to talk, until now that is. He was very dashing, she couldn't help miss her love though. Putting that to the back of her mind she focused on Killian who had so kindly come up to talk to her. This town was so busy all the time it was easy to feel out of place or even a bit lonely, yet everyone was always so friendly. Maybe she was just home sick. Shifting on her legs she looked him over, the pirate captain. The look on his face seemed very sincere as he spoke again, this time thanking her, which slightly caught her off surprise. She was not really use to pirates saying thank you. So this was a wonderful change.
Her face softened to a sweet little smile "Oh of course. Anything to help." Anna loved helping others, it only added to her adventures and she loved fighting evil. Standing up for the weak and the poor. She liked feeling like a hero, not that she needed the glory of a hero, being in the shadows helping was good, though she couldn't say she didn't like the appreciation. "I am glad you were not harmed, and that we all made it out." Her smile was so friendly it made it easy to approach her and talk with her. She was a princess but she spent so much time with the people of her own kingdom, it seemed to help in the outside world as well. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Killian Jones Notes: *Dances* -------------------------------------------------------

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION At least it did not seem that she was rejecting of her company, evident in the way she smiled in response to revealing his name. He returned a smile, as she went on to say that she was glad everyone made it out unharmed. That was quite true. Hook couldn't imagine the alternative. If the Dark One had been successful in his attempt, he would be unstoppable. But luckily, Storybrooke was safe from his wrath -- for the time being anyway.
"Aye," he said in complete agreement to her words. "In this town, there is a tendency for these hero types to win," he said a bit jokingly, though it was also with truth. He was merely teasing those who wore the title of hero here. "Not that I'm complaining," he added on with a continued smile playing on his lips. "I am just grateful that you were among them." Among this group of heroes. Hell, even Regina had joined these ranks. "Considering you are our newest citizen, how are you finding this town thus far?" He asked, well aware that this land was far different from any other realm. Including Arendelle.

------------------------------------------------------- She tilted her head, this was her first time being here, she had no idea what they had been through previous of her journey here. "Has there been previous problems that called for heroes to arise?" Anna asked curiously. She had heard plenty of stories that crossed the lands of heroes and their epic adventures to save the damsel in distress though Anna was always one who wanted to be the savor rather then the damsel in distress even with her hopeless romantic personality she fully believed a women could be just as heroic as proven by all the women that pulled together in this town. It was one of the reasons she loved this place! Aside from all the little doo-dads and thing-a-majigs.
"This place is wonderful! So many surprises and new ideas. It is truly amazing, I will have to bring some of this home with me to Arendelle.... If I ever get to go back that is." She lightly shrugged. "Oh the way they make light is breath taking! I do not understand how it works just yet but I will get to the bottom of it!" She nodded with determination. Her first few days here were just full of exploring and figuring things out, they had things called electronics which baffled Anna and their food was to die for. It was all so amazing!
Anna had been leaning against the wall long enough, looking to Killian "Would you care to join me for a stroll?" She did not want to intrude, having no idea if he had plans or if that was inappropriate since is seemed him and Emma had something going on but she wished to make friends with him, Anna wished to know about his pirating days and traveling the world. Perhaps one day she would get to do that and if that was possible then what a better way then to travel with a friend who just so happens to be a captain. It was all a wonderful idea in her mind. But over all Anna could never have too many friends from other lands. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Killian Jones Notes: *Dances* -------------------------------------------------------

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Hook couldn't help but give a small chuckle at her question. "Let's just say Ingrid's curse wasn't the first to befall this town," he answered. "Storybrooke tends to be well equipped when it comes to fight off dangerous threats and evil curses." Hell, the entire town was created due to a curse. For such a small town, it certainly had an extensive past and quite a lot of action. He most certainly preferred it to other places like New York. That had been a bloody nightmare. She then expressed how wonderful this place was, and he found her smile to be infectious, for he could not refrain from smiling himself.
She certainly seemed to have a positive spirit about her, and a zealous excitement for life that was incredibly refreshing and enjoyable to be around. "We will find a way to ensure you and your sister return home," he promised. "Everyone here is extremely determined, and will not stop until a way to your home is found." Emma, Snow, Charming, even Regina . . . and that was just naming a few of the many that would do all they could to help a friend. Or in this case, friends. "But aye. I couldn't agree more, love. This place does have its wonders, as well as its obscurities." He paused for a moment, a smirk playing on his features. "If you require any assistance in smuggling something to Arendelle, do let me know," he offered, only half kidding.
Ah yes. Electricity -- a word he had been taught when coming here. Oddly enough, Killian found that magic was a far easier explanation for things than what occurred in this place. There was so many technicalities and complex explanations . . . magic was a far simpler reason for the way things worked. Yet it could not be so in a land without it. "Have you used a talking phone yet? Or been in a moving car? Those are indeed a few of the many curious things in this world." Talking phones; moving cars . . . so many odd objects indeed. Her offer for him to join her on a walk kept his lips curved upwards in a smile.
"It would be my pleasure," he said genuinely. He didn't exactly have a lot of friends here, so it was nice to be in the company of someone like her, who held nothing against him and did not seem to have any judgment over him. "Where have you visited thus far in town?" He asked curiously. "Apart from the Sheriff's station and Granny's diner," he added on, knowing that those two places tended to be the inevitable preliminary stops for newcomers in town.

------------------------------------------------------- Killian spoke of finding them a way back and how everyone would do what they could to get her and her sister and that was very nice to hear. She missed her home, and without their queen or princess there to help guide them who knew what was happening and that made her a little uneasy to think about. Anna loved her people more then life itself and the thought of anything happening made her heart race and her stomach ache. But she shook that from her mind, focusing on the fact that he reassured her they would find a way home. She believed his sincerity. "I sure hope so, our home needs us." She shrugged a bit keeping the smile on her face.
"It is amazing to see everyone still so strong and hopeful after all the evil that has taken up resident here." She had heard bits and pieces of what had happened in this town previously and how this place was created. So many horror stories it seemed, but everyone was pulling through and still moving forward. There were many happy faces and so much love still around it was wonderful to see. "Do you miss your home?" Anna asked curiously. She was sure he did, but she also knew he sailed around a lot and she wasn't too sure where his home was other then on his ship which she had no idea if it was here or not. Anna knew some people came with some of their items but not everyone was so lucky.
Killian had asked if she had seen the things you talk through and another person could answer. Or the moving metal contraptions that truly concerned Anna yet she was so fascinated by them none the less. "Yes I have seen the metal contraptions." She nodded "Though I have not been in them, and I have not used that talking device though it looks delightful!" Anna liked the idea of calling someone through a small hand held item and only have someone answer on the other side. So many wonders in this world. She would certainly have to bring some stuff back to Arendelle. "Oh I would like that very much!" He may have been kidding but she was not, she truly planned on smuggling things back.
"I have not been anywhere really. I did go to the library... This place is so intimidating so I took to the library, it is the closest thing to something similar from my land." She laughed a bit, feeling a bit silly. Anna loved adventure but being tossed into this random world where she couldn't get back easily so it overwhelmed her a bit and she felt safe in the library, it was similar to something she had in her castle though hers was much bigger it was still comforting. "That must sound silly." She tucked some hair behind her ear slightly shrugging it off though her smile was still pulling at the corners of her lips. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Killian Jones Notes: *Dances* -------------------------------------------------------

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Hook could easily understand her need to return to Arendelle. Apart from the fact that she most likely missed her home, she was also a royal and was responsible -- along with her sister -- to rule the kingdom. He gave a soft, reassuring smile in response to her words, not wishing to keep her mind on how much she missed her home. He hoped to distract her, until a concrete way for them to reutrn home was found. "Aye," he said in full agreement. "We have some fairly savy people protecting this town." The Sheriffss, the formerly evil queen, Snow, even Henry, and so on.
"Storybrooke is a resilient town. Can't imagine any curse or threat taking it down completely," he said confidently. Especially with their past records of what they place had endured. She then asked if he missed his home and he pauesd in a pensive silent for a moment before giving an honest answer. "In some ways, I do. The Jolly Roger was my home for many centuries." He flashed a smile at her, knowing how that sounded. "I know what you're thinking," he began to say.
"I look bloody damn good for my age," he said with joking arrogance. "But I have found something -- or someone rather -- worth staying for here. So in that way, this charming little town has become my new home." Because Emma was here. He would always miss the Jolly Roger, but would never regret giving it up if it meant that he had done it for Emma; to bring her to her rightful home. Anna then confirmed that she had seen the metal contraption, the description causing him to smile. It sounded about right.
"You must do so before you leave, just for the thrill," he said with an amused smile. "The talking device has its conveniences, though it can be a bloody nuisance as well." He reached into his pocket and pulled it out, handing it over to her so that she could look at it if she so wished. She then explained that she had not been very many places, but the library was included on the list. He contineud to listen as she said that it was the closest that held similarity to her home. "Not silly at all, lass," he told her. "It makes perfectly good sense," he further assured her. "You like reading then?" He asked, as they continued to make their way through the streets of Storybrooke, interested in getting to know her a little better.
