I tried THE HERO THING ... DIDN'T TAKE So this is what it had all come down to. They were back in the Enchanted Forest, full memories in tact which . . . was more painful than the alternative. Part of Killian wished his memories could have been erased just as Emma's were. And then on the other hand, how could he want to rid himself of memories about the woman he loved? It was a difficult dilemma, but it also was a useless one to consider. For nothing could be done. Emma and Henry had left Storybrooke and were on their way to a city to make lives for themselves. Ones that did not involve any of them. He was uncaring if was selfish of him to be bitter and frustrated by this.
He also was not planning on staying with any of them. He didn't belong in this life with castles, kings and queens. He belonged aboard his ship. On the open sea. He was a pirate after all and no matter how much he tried to be a better man, it was pointless. He was and always would be, Captain Hook, a villainous pirate that sailed the open seas and took what he pleased. He had made his way from the crowd who had set up camp for the night, as it was late and they were in the middle of the forest. But sleep evaded him in all his bitter loneliness. Instead, he sat against a tree, his back against the trunk and he reached into his pocket for his best friend. "Cheers," he said in a low voice to no one in particular as he opened the cover to his flask. Rum. The one thing that would never let him down. And with that thought in mind, he took a particularly large swig of the beverage that he hoped would start to ease away his sorrows and with any luck, assist him in passing out for being awake was far too painful right now.

It was still light out when the group stopped to make camp. Earlier that day, Robin and his men had been paroling the woods like normal, looking for food as well as any nobles that might be traveling through the forest and gotten lost. Over the years his hearing had gotten better then when he was younger, he used the sounds of the forest and it's animals to pick up danger or people passing through the forest. They had been taking a break when Robin stood up, hearing the sound of birds, most of the time when an animal sensed danger they would give off a sound to alert the other birds or forest animals around.
So that meant something scared off the birds to cause them to fly up into the sky, Robin and his merry made there way towards the sounds to watch before them two women were being attacked by the flying beasts. Robin had seen them throughout the forest lately and he had no idea why they were hear or who brought them here. After he had saved them and found out who they were and that they were back in the kingdom, Robin was glad to see them, met some of them finally.
And after Robin and his men met up with the rest of the group and they made there way throw the forest. And here they were now, making camp before they moved on towards the castle. Robin set out to gather up fire wood, while everyone else went on about there own business. When he came back from getting fire wood, he could see Tuck carrying a sleeping Roland in his arms and going to set up a tent for the little merry men to fall asleep.
Robin went to work making a fire for everyone. He watched the people around him do there own thing, Little John and the others were talking among themselves and Tuck was coming back from putting Roland down for the night, and started work on his famous stew. He put another piece of wood when one of his men handed him a drink of ale, he smiled and thanked him before moving away from the main camp where he found a man drinking alone. The outlaw knew very well who the man was the pirates legend crossed many ears and many rumors. "Apologizes captain. I just wanted to let you know that there is plenty of space set up for sleeping quarters and fresh food and ale if you wish", he spoke bowing his head lightly and taking a sip with his own drink. "You probably don't want company so I'll leave you to your business then".

I tried THE HERO THING ... DIDN'T TAKE Hook was pulled from his thoughts when he heard a voice, prompting him to look toward the source. Ah yes, he of course knew the man. The legendary Robin Hood. A man who steals from the rich to give to the poor. Prince of Thieves he believed some called him. While he'd never had any interactions with the man previously, Hood was hardly unwelcome company.
"Gratitude, mate," he said thankfully when Robin had informed him that there was space to lie for the night and food to eat. Killian didn't have an appetite and he had a feeling sleep was going to elude him tonight. "I think my drink will substitute both things just fine," he said with a slight smirk though it lacked any joviality or genuine humor in his tone. Hood then began to dismiss himself, though the pirate noticed the man's own drink in his hand.
"Seeing as how we're both finding company in a drink, why not find company in one another." It wasn't that he felt particularly social in this moment -- seeing as how he deviated from the group and while he had not revealed it yet, had no intention of staying with them. "You're welcome to join me mate," he added on to clarify. "I'll even let you taste my rum, which I'm sure exceeds whatever you have in that flask of yours," he said teasingly. Though rum would indeed always be Hook's beverage of preference.

Robin hadn’t wanted to bother the pirate captain, knowing well the stories and rumors that were whispered throughout the kingdom of how fearsome the captain was, but Robin was the kind of man who didn’t shy away when it came to others no matter who they were or what they might have have done in the past. Plus he was just being a good host as they were making camp for the night in his forest. They were both pretty famous throughout the Kingdom back in the day.
He nodded his head, ]“Not a problem, anything you need just let me know”, and he spoke because it was true if Hook needed anything really Robin would do his best to get it for the pirate. He didn’t want any ill towards anyone within the camp. They were within the walls of Sherwood and while they were here then were under his protection and he would provide them with everything they needed while they stayed here. He couldn’t help but smirk right back that was something Tuck always said Robin swore that man only lived on drink. “Well it’s there is you so choose”, if he wanted either the place to rest or the food it was there no matter what, the offered stayed.
Robin had started to leave because he pulled Hook away from whatever thoughts he might have had, and he wasn’t quite sure if the pirate wanted company in the first place. Robin had his eyes on camp all the time life and had taken notice to who was there and who wasn’t. That’s the reason Robin had gone looking for Hook because he wasn’t there to begin with when he had started the fire. So the outlaw thought that he might want to be alone. “If you say so, I didn’t want to interrupt anything”, he spoke lightly before moving to join the pirate, chuckling as he sat down at Hook’s words.“I imagine it probably does, but there’s nothing like the friars drink he makes himself, if he lets you have some knocks you out for days”. Robin still remembered the first time the friar had brought some of his home made drink to the Merry Men and it had knocked out Little John who was a very large man out for days on end. Robin had never met a man of the cloth who liked the drink as much as Friar Tuck did.
