PROPER GIF SOON ------------------------------------------------------- Henry had been rather upset, so many secrets and he didn't understand why. There were not suppose to be secrets it wasn't how they worked. Sitting on his bed he stared at the floor. His heart pounding in his chest he was angry. Emma had kept things from him, important things. Killian had killed his grandfather, the Dark One to protect her but because of that he had taken on the powers and the darkness. It would slowly corrupt him and Henry had been left in the dark about this all. After everything they had been through she had kept this from him. He couldn't confront her about it because he wasn't suppose to know about it but he couldn't help but overhear her talking on the phone. Her worried voice had concerned Henry and now he knew why.
With a heavy sigh he stood up shaking his head. Killian would fall into the darkness and would have to leave and that time had come sooner rather then later. But he would not be alone. With all the secrets and everything was changing he didn't feel he truly belonged anymore and well someone had to be with Killian, help him stay on the light path and hopefully find a way to break this curse without killing him... Henry fully planned on sneaking away and following Killian. Grabbing his bag he shoved a few things into it, certain necessities that would come in handy. Henry had no idea what he would be up against but he would prepare for anything possible. So while his mother was busy and his grandparents off, no one was around. Or paying enough attention to stop him from sneaking out with his bag slung over his shoulder.
Before he could sneak off with Killian he had to make a stop at his mothers vault. He was pretty sure Regina would not be there, so he would be quick, though when ever she did go back there she would know stuff was missing. Racing down the streets, running behind the buildings trying to avoid people which seemed a lot easier then usual, people seemed pre-occupied and he couldn't help but wonder if they all knew... Was he the only one who was in the dark? Well it did not matter now he had a plan. A new adventure that would surely be better then staying here where he felt so out of the loop it hurt. With heavy breaths Henry once again broke into her vault steal little potions and talismans, things he thought might come in handy.
Henry was in and out mostly without a trace that he was ever there. His pack was full and he was ready to go. Now he just needed to follow Killian and see how he was going to leave. Henry saw himself as a spy, having done it plenty of times in the past he was sure he could get away with it again. Though he never really had to follow Killian... As the Dark One... This was a whole new ball game but Henry was willing to play. He just had to side step his family to get away from this. And he wouldn't be able to say goodbye because he knew for sure they would stop him weather it be locking him away or with magic. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Killian Jones Time: The Dark One is now Hook! Note: proper gif coming soon! It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Things had not gone well. Killian had tried to fight it, but it seemed that being the Dark One truly was a curse, for there was no way to stop the corruption. Hook had given the dagger to Emma on the night he killed Rumple, and they had both agreed that should he pose as a threat, that the dagger be used to banish him. Unfortunately, that day had come. But it was so much more worse than that . . . for Killian had also found out that he was going to be a father. The thought of leaving Emma was enough to break his heart, but now he had a whole new level of heartbreak, knowing that he would not be here for his unborn child.
Not to mention the fact that he was forced to leave so many others behind that he had grown quite close to. He had developed ties here. Hell, he had even grown fond of Emma's family -- Henry in particular. But now, he had to leave that all behind. He had to leave her behind. And leave their child without a father. No. Hook could not accept that.
He would not stop fighting until he found a way to rid himself of this forsaken curse and return to Storybrooke as the man he once was. He didn't know how he was going to live without Emma, and with the knowledge that he had a child with the woman he loved . . . a child that he may never see. He would not be here through the stages of her pregnancy. What if their child was born before he found a way out of being the Dark One . . . Hook would miss those first few moments of his or her life.
The thought was enough to leave him devastated, but alas, he had no choice. He literally, had no choice. Despite his hope that it would not have to come to this, he had been prepared. With the help of Zarina, his own magic, and a dried up bean that was now functioning, Hook had managed to create a portal. And it was quite convenient that his ship had returned for he was currently sailing on it.
He looked at the bean in the palm of his hand. This scene was somewhat familiar. He had once used it to enter another realm to avenge Milah's death. Now he was doing it as a form of banishment. The similarity? In both instances, he lost the woman he loved. But he would find a way back. He had to. With that determined thought in mind, he tossed the bean into the water, and tightly grabbed hold of the steering as the ship was taken into the whirling portal, transporting him to none other than back to the Enchanted Forest.

PROPER GIF SOON ------------------------------------------------------- Henry had followed Killian all over town figuring out what he was doing and once he had found out about the bean and that he had planned to sail off through the portal, he knew exactly where to store himself. He was feeling a bit proud of his detective skills as he made his way to the docks. Sneaking around being careful not to get caught by any of the dock hands running the place. Looking around the place was rather empty which was strange but then again nothing was as it seemed at the moment with his mother, with Killian. Everything was all over the place. Shaking his head he ran up to the ramp to the Jolly Roger. Before stepping on he looked back with a heavy heart knowing full well this would cause a panic to a lot of people and a lot of heart break. Emma was already losing her true love... And now her son whom she had gotten back only a few years but he felt un-needed and Killian needed someone more. Henry knew he could help him, he believed with all of his heart that he could help him break this curse. Hopefully rid the world of it for good.
"Goodbye mom... And mom. We will meet again soon I am sure." He whispered and with a sigh he turned his head and made his way up on to the ship. Thinking he knew that the places most likely to be walked in before sailing off would be anywhere except the captain's quarter as that was only for Killian so he would hide in there. Surely Killian would not step in till they were into the portal and no longer in Storybrooke, if he was wrong well he would be kicked off the ship. But he had to take this chance. Running up to the door, she quickly picked the lock, finding it much easier to break into these doors then ones in his home land. With a confident smile he slipped in and hid. Staying quiet and not moving till he knew they were through the portal. He would watch and listen. Portals were not hard to miss.
It did not take long for Killian to sail out and toss the bean into the water opening up and sailing through. Henry watched through the little port hole as they sailed through amazed and excited that he was really doing this. That he was leaving. Something he never thought he would do willingly as family was stronger together, but Killian was his family to and no one deserved to be alone and go through something so terrible and life changing. Once through Henry made his way to the captain's chair, stubbing his toe and creating a noticeable thud noise. Squinting in pain he shook it off and took a seat, keeping it's back turned. It was too late to toss him off the ship so he was going to give Killian a surprise as he would turn around when he walked in with a grin on his face. Henry fully believed that Killian would not just leave him somewhere, yes he was turning dark but there was always just a little good in someone even Rumple had a soft spot, didn't always know how to show it but it was there. Hopefully Henry was a soft spot for Killian, even just a small one. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Killian Jones Time: The Dark One is now Hook! Note: proper gif coming soon! It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Once Killian was through the portal, the sea gave the ship a steady movement. The wind and currents were calm and the Jolly Roger was practically moving itself with these combined elements. Truth be told, Killian didn't exactly have an intended destination. What he did know was that he was going to find a way to rid himself of this curse so that he could return to Storybrooke; a place that had become his home. A place where he had a family, now of heart and blood. He wanted to go back before Emma gave birth to their child . . . so that he could be a father.
He had tried to assume the role for Bae and then Henry, but also knew that he had been no substitute for their real fathers. He cared for them both, loved them both, despite the loss of one. This place no longer had anything for him. His life was back in Storybrooke, and he would find a way to return to it . . . no matter what the cost. Besides, at this point, what did he have to lose?
He was already cursed into a life of darkness and immortality. Hearing a noise below deck distracted him from this thoughts. He knew his ship extremely well and felt immediately cautious when he heard something out of the ordinary. He could even hear exactly where it was coming from. He began to move towards the stairs, aware that he now possessed powers that could easily teleport him, or destroy an enemy.
However, the less he used these powers . . . the better. He didn't want to become dependent on them, fearing that the more he used this dark magic, the more it would corrupt him. So he would stick with a more traditional form of a weapon -- which just so happened to be the sword attached to his belt. He made his way down the stairs, unafraid of whoever it was. He opened the door to his chambers, eying the chair for he noticed the position of it was moved and could tell that someone was in it. "Oyw, show yourself," he demanded. He could just as easily move to see who it was, but he gave the intruder a chance to reveal themselves first, before he took matters into his own hand.

PROPER GIF SOON ------------------------------------------------------- It did not take Killian long at all to find Henry which was fine, they made it through the portal and it closed so there was no going back. A small smirk played on his lips as Killian came in and told him to show himself, easy enough of a request. Turning the chair around he had his arms on the rests and looked into the face of the new Dark One. Henry knew all about it and Killian did not scare him, he wasn't sure he ever would. There was still good in him Henry could see it. "Hey." That was all he had to say for his big turn around. There was no need for some big speech or grand revealing. Keeping it simple had a decent enough impact.
Standing up Henry fixed the bag on his shoulders he moved towards Killian "I figured you could use some help." Henry finally added on after a moment of silence for everything to really soak in. "You once told me family was stronger together. And you are my family so i couldn't let you go alone." He cleared his throat a bit and shuffled his feet, waiting for the impact of what he did was wrong and get a grand lecture though he had hoped that wasn't the case but it really wouldn't matter. He was here and there was no way back without strong magic, and as Rumple would always say, all magic comes with a price. Besides where would they find a magic bean, they were too scarce. And there was no magic hat to jump through. Their options were truly limited.
"So where are we headed first, on this new adventure?" He asked in an optimistic tone, yeah he was pretty excited to be here despite the reasoning. This was his first time in the Enchanted Forest, the birth place of his family, a part of his life he was missing out on because he was born and raised in the land without magic. But here anything was possible. And Henry was in a place where he could help, be apart of something and hopefully be out of the area of secrets something he greatly disliked. This all should be different at least that was his hope. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Killian Jones Time: The Dark One is now Hook! Note: proper gif coming soon! It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Killian waited to see who the intruder was . . . and nothing had prepared him for the identity of who was on his ship. He looked at the boy, his defenses lowering but the surprise numbed him. Oh. Bloody. Hell. Emma, Snow, David, Regina . . . the whole lot of them were going to kill him. Ironic, since he was immortal now, but still! He doubted they knew he was here for they would have most certainly done whatever they could to prevent him from coming. And with good reason too. Hook just stood there, trying to process who it was standing on his ship and fortunately, it prompted Henry to further explain his reasons and motivations.
It was true that Hook was already preparing on giving the boy a speech on how he should not be here, how worried his mothers would be, how he needed to get back . . . but then Henry said something that caused all these lecturing points to come to a halt. Family. He had referred to him as family. Despite whatever darkness was now in Killian's heart, he felt touched and a sense of honor that the young lad considered him as such. He knew it must have been difficult to see Emma be with another man after his father's passing . . . but his words now and actions dispelled Hook's fears and uncertainty.
First it was the actions that Hook needed a moment to adjust to, now it was Henry's words. The lad had asked him a question though, inquiring as to where their first adventure would be. Hook finally snapped out of all the shock and began to walk up to Henry, his expression unrevealing of what he was feeling, for his heart was truly swelling with emotion. Perhaps it was a sign that he wasn't too fargone; that there was a way to stop this curse. Killian knew he should tell off the boy for this but . . . he wasn't able to do so. And it would be all the more reason Emma and Regina would probably be infuriated at him.
"I should be giving you an intensive lecture right now," he began to say, a seriousness in his voice as he expressed the thoughts in his mind. He then raised a hand and placed it on Henry's head -- as the young boy was growing quite quickly. "But your company isn't unwelcome. Even if you shouldn't be here," he added on, unable to resist as his voice was more of a teasing. How could he possibly be angry at the young lad after what he had said to him? "I take it you didn't tell either of your mothers, ey," he acknowledged. "Just means I'll have to take you back myself. For now since it is the two of us, I'm certain we'll find a solution for this." He wanted Henry to know that he had no intention of giving up. He wasn't just going to accept his banishment and never return.
He was indeed going back to Storybrooke and he was going to do it, rid of this curse. "Besides, I could most definitely use the company of family right about now," he said with a bit of a smile ruffling Henry's hair a little, his voice sincere. He now had all the more reason than ever to fight this curse . . . yet at the same time, he felt his heart grow with fear over potentially hurting Henry in his uncontrolled state of Darkness. That, would be something he would never forgive himself for. "Why don't we start with getting something to eat. You must be hungry." This was utterly selfish of him, but he also knew that the second he found a way to send Henry back -- even if they hadn't ended this curse of the Dark One, then Hook would take it and send the lad back to Storybrooke, with or without him.

PROPER GIF SOON ------------------------------------------------------- Henry watched Killian as his demeanor changed as he turned around to reveal himself. It went from defensive to just plain shock. Henry expected his first words to be something along the lines of 'how could you do this, your mothers would be worried sick!' And so on but alas they did not. He said he should lecture him but was not going to so that was a good start to this. A small weight lifted off his shoulders. Henry shook his head "No I didn't tell anyone, they would have stopped me." He knew he was right and he was sure Killian knew as well. "Besides I am not needed there." A small flash of sadness quickly flashed over his face before he pushed it away a long with his negative thoughts. Clearing his throat as he listened to what Killian had to say about it all.
Nodding he smiled but before he took another step his face went serious "I know my mothers will worry and I know you only want to please Emma. But sending me back if there is a way won't work. I will not go. Even if I have to make a contract with you I will not leave you till we finish this together. So no funny business!" Henry was a stubborn kid always had been. Heck he got his mother in this town when he was young now he was older and could do so much more. "I came prepared." Henry added on almost with a hint of guilt for stealing from his family but he needed it more then they did and surely they would all understand once this was over. He also knew he would be so very grounded, probably for the rest of his life. But it was worth it. Killian was worth it.
"I already lost my father, I can't loose you to." He spoke in all seriousness. Henry saw him as a father figure, he wasn't his father but he was the closest thing he had to one and did not plan on letting go so easily. "Now lets eat, cause I only packed a few snacks and I am starving!" He laughed a bit his mood lightening up. Henry did have a plan B if they did manage to find a way back before he helped Killian break the curse. Henry was ready to raise all sorts of trouble here to get what they needed. He was going to live like a pirate and frankly he was excited, this was Killian's old life and Henry was going to experience it all first hand. An opportunity of a life time is how he saw this. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Killian Jones Time: The Dark One is now Hook! Note: proper gif coming soon! It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION As predicted, Henry had not informed anyone of his coming here. His secerecy didn't surprise Hook, for as the young lad said, they would have tried to stop him. And they were right to do so. Hook hadn't the slightest idea as to when he would be able to return to Storybrooke. It would not be a moment sooner that he found a way to rid himself of this curse, and only a moment after it was broken. But having Henry here, certainly changed things. Killian didn't fail to see the flicker of sadness on the boy as he spoke of how he wasn't needed.
Something had happened then. He had after all found out about all this which begged the question . . . just how much did Henry know. Did he also know that Emma was pregnant with twins? Killian placed his hand on Henry's shoulder as he looked down at him with a soft smile. "You are always needed, lad," he assured him. "You have a large group of family and friends who love and care for you. They will always need you, more than you may even realize." Emma. Regina. Mary Margaret. David. The list went on and on. He wanted the boy to know that. And Hook felt the guilt of what Emma, Regina and all others would go through with Henry's absence. The boy seemed to anticipate Killian's unspoken plans, as he told him not to send him back for he would not go. Killian just watched him as he spoke with such determination.
"You get your stubbornness from your mother, I see," he said with a slightly teasing smile. And perhaps his father as well. What a combination indeed. "I will do what is necessary, Henry," he told him, not about to argue with him, but he was so fearful of hurting the boy. Just as he had almost hurt Emma. If he could not control the darkness . . . well, he feared what that may unleash on the young lad. "That is a deal, I will not agree to," he said once again with teasing in his voice, but he was also not lying. He was about to continue to speak on the matter when Henry suddenly spoke words that caused Killian to pause. I already lost my father, I can't lose you too. The pirate felt his heart swell with emotion, having to hold them back at the magnitude and sentimental impact the words took on him.
He regarded him as such as way, and hearing it now . . . well, he found himself more reason than ever to live. Emma was obviously reason enough, as were the two children she carried in her womb. But Henry . . . that was an entirely different level. He of course loved the boy as his own. Henry was Emma's son, and Hook wished to embrace him as a father. He had failed doing so with Baelfire -- for he had been the son of Milah, Hook's first love -- and he refused to fail Henry. "I will do everything in my power to ensure your safety, even if it means protecting you from myself." That was for certain. "You won't lose me," he added on, hoping it wasn't too late for that.
"Living for a son, is all the incentive I need." As Henry referred to him as a father figure, Killian could easily refer to him as his son of heart. Suddenly realizing that the boy must indeed be hungry, Hook pulled himself from continuing to be distracted by Henry's heart warming words, and focused on the needs of the boy. "We're not far from land. We'll find a place to eat once we arrive. In the meantime, I have an extra meal on deck. Come on then," he said, draping his arm around the boy as he began to move them to the upper level. Truth be told, Killian hadn't had much of an appetite, but with Henry here . . . perhaps he would need to eat in order to keep up his strength, so that he could properly look after the young lad.

PROPER GIF SOON ------------------------------------------------------- Hook tried to reassure him that he was always needed but back in Storybrooke it did not feel that way but he was just a teen going through his changes a lot was happening in his life and he could use all the reassurance he could get even if he didn't believe it at the moment, it would come to help him in the future. A smirk did cross his lips when Killian told him he got his stubbornness from his mother and he could not deny that as his mother was very, very stubborn. He then spoke that he would do what is necessary and he only smirked a little more at that. "So will I. Even if I have to do it alone." Henry was not arguing he was stating a fact that if Killian tried to ship him off he would just continue his own adventure to find a cure for what ever curse Killian was under.
Henry wouldn't let him do it on his own no matter how much he pushed Henry away out of fear. "I am not afraid of what you might become Killian, and I will stand by you through thick and thin like my mother would if she could be here to." Henry was a lot like his mother which is why it was so easy to find her all that time ago. Henry just hoped Killian understood how serious he was about helping, he left everything behind for Killian so he was getting his help with or without his consent. He didn't get his moms, perhaps this was a time Henry felt rebellious most kids went through it perhaps this was his phase... Or he was just very passionate about helping.
Killian wrapped his arm around him and followed him through the ship "Food does sound good. I am excited to see what this place has to offer." Henry truly was thrilled to be here, the place of his grandparents and many of his friends, and the birth of his mother. So many stories were to be told here all about the past and that is what Henry wanted to know. This is where it all began and Henry was finally here, a place he never thought he would get to come with all the curses that seemed to happen in Storybrooke he felt he was destined to find everyone and loose them over again and all he wanted to do was end it give every one their happy endings. That included Killian. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Killian Jones Time: The Dark One is now Hook! Note: proper gif coming soon! It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Hook couldn't help but smile at the boy's determination, saying that he would do whatever it took, even if he had to do it alone. Henry reminded Hook of not only his mother, but his father was well. For he did have elements of Baelfire in him. "Trust me young lad, you won't be doing anything alone here," he assured him. While he wanted to find a way to keep him safe, he was not about to foresake him in this land. The Enchanted Forest was far different from Storybrooke and the land that Henry was born and raised in. It was difficult to know how to proceed, for on the one hand . . . Hook feared harming Henry.
On the other, he couldn't let him wander off on his own. Henry's next words of how he wasn't afraid of what would happen, that he would stand by him, honored Killian. The faith that the young boy had in him was heart warming, and words could not describe what it meant for him to hear that. "I hope I do not disappoint you then," he told him with a small smile and strongly sincere voice. The last thing he ever wanted to do was prove to Henry and Emma that he was undeserving of their faith . . . even though right now, he felt he was. As he led him through the ship, Henry expressed his excitement over being here.
"It offers quite a bit I'll tell you that," he assured him. "But it is also filled with dangers. So if we are going to do this, you can not wander on your own," he told him. "You need to listen to me, Henry," he told him. "As you've read in the stories, this world is not anything like the one you come from. Fortunately for you, I have nearly four centuries of experience here. So I ask that you trust my lead, if we are going to work together." He needed that to be clear between them.
He would never forgive himself if something happened to Henry under his watch. While he knew the boy was strong and capable, Hook did not want to fail him . . . as he failed his father, Bae. Once they reached the deck above, he made his way to the small table and stool where there was a plate of food; meat, bread, and some vegetables. "Enjoy," he said, a slight tease in voice for the food was quite different. "Not quite grilled cheese from Granny's, but it'll have to suffice for now," he said, pulling out the stool with his foot so that Henry had space to sit on it.

PROPER GIF SOON ------------------------------------------------------- Killian had told him he would not be doing anything alone, and that if they were to work together he had to follow his lead. Henry would do his best though he truly could not make any promises. He was a young man after all and in a new land he would bound to wonder off or get lost along the way. But he was not worried cause he knew Killian would find him no matter what. Nodding to the mans words as he followed him above deck. "We will make a great team I am sure of it." Henry agreed more or less. He had found a way around answering him though it was not a lie. With a smile on his face "I know it does. And reading has only prepared me for a little bit of it, but now that I am here I can learn first hand. I have been practicing my swordsmanship." He noted confidently though he knew he was nothing like the rest of his family with their skills as they were born and raised here he was not and had only found out about all this a few short years ago. Not nearly enough to truly master the arts of well anything from this land but he had been giving it his all and that was worth something. Coming here was a true test of his skills and how well he could adapt to the new situations. It was both terrifying and exhilarating and he was ready for it all to start!
Making their way up they came to a table where food and drinks had been served. His face showed his excitement all too well. The new foods, the wonders. It was almost like he was a child in a candy store though this candy store was filled with meats, vegetables, rum, and a whole lot of monsters waiting for them to take a wrong turn. Taking a seat he scanned the table a few times over. The thought of him getting to drink some of the rum had crossed his mind but he quickly turned that down, this was his first night here he didn't need to be drinking anything but water. And he doubted Killian would let him knowing full well if either of his mothers heard about it they would probably wring his neck. A small chuckle escaped his lips at the thought though. Shaking it off he dug in, not really caring if it wasn't grilled cheese from Granny's though it was delicious this was a new experience and well he was still a growing boy and he could put away just about anything you gave him it really did not matter at this point in his life. He was a human black hole.
Pulling up for a moment to breath and to speak he looked to Killian "So where are we headed first?" He asked curiously. As much as Henry wanted to explore the lands and learn new things he had his first priority on his mind and that was Killian. There would be time for fun and other stuff later once he was cured and they needed a way home. Till then it was business. Henry was good at always finding what he needed, just as he had found Emma all by himself. He was not afraid of the unknown rather he took it head on with courage. ------------------------------------------------------- Tag: Killian Jones Time: The Dark One is now Hook!
