Her stomach tumbled and twisted as she waited for Killian to show up at the Pawn Shop. She'd agreed to meet with him there before transporting the two of them to wherever he thought best to hide the dagger. Belle stood behind the counter, fingers resting on the wooden box concealing the accursed blade. She'd retrieved it from where she'd kept it hidden only moments before, too afraid that it would somehow fall into the wrong hands.
The librarian glanced toward the windows at the front of the shop in the hopes of spotting the pirate as she wished to get their task over with quickly. The very thought of the blade being near her set her on edge as she was reminded of using it to push her beloved husband out into the world. From time to time she wondered how he was faring, wondering if she'd done the right thing. Yet her conviction grew over time that she had.

Note: proper gif coming soon! It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION If anyone had told Rumple that he would have to guise himself as one of his most loathed enemies, he would have questioned their sanity. It was indeed a sore spot that he had to disguise himself as none other than Hook, to get close to the woman that he loved. Hook. Of all the people. Why did it have to be him. But he had to admit, he'd learned quite a bit about everything since taking on his appearance. And now, if things went according to plan, he would be in possession of his dagger.
He knew Killian long enough to study his mannerisms, his way of walking, talking, and any other detail in order to successfully pull this off. The pirate had after all once been a puppet on strings that he was pulling, when he'd taken his heart and made him do his bidding. It seemed that now, yet again, there was an undeniable advantage of appearing like him. Unfortunately.
Rumple -- or Hook rather made his way into the all too familiar pawn shop. Seeing Belle again undoubtedly made his blackened heart swell with emotion for he had and would forever love her. But right now, he had to remember the character he was playing. He had to remember that for all intensive purposes, he was Hook. "Evening, love," he said nonchalantly, the casualness greatly contradicting how he felt. But he still made no revealing tone or expression of that. He moved closer so that he was standing on the other side of the counter. "Do you have it?" He asked, as they both knew exactly what 'it' was referring to.

Belle relaxed at the sight of him, glad that he had come as he'd promised. She'd gotten to know the pirate quite well during the time together researching how to free the fairies from the hat. He truly had changed, unlike her ex-husband. She was glad that he had found peace and, what seemed to be, happiness. "I have," she said nervously, looking down at the box underneath her hand. She fidgeted with the latch, her fingers shaking slightly. The brunette internally chastised herself for her anxiety. The dagger was one of the last links that she had to Rumpelstiltskin and she wished to get rid of it. Part of her did, at least. The other, weaker, side of her wanted to hold onto it. That side also wished for everything to be back to normal but that was hardly to happen.
"Where are you intending to hide it?" she asked. "No....I don't want to know." She shook her head, coloring slightly at her hastiness. "I'm sorry," she explained her backtrack. "It's just...I'm glad I'm putting this behind me."

Note: proper gif coming soon! It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION He knew he had to remember the fact that however he spoke to Belle, however he looked at Belle . . . it was not Rumple, but rather Killian. It was proving to be rather difficult, considering the feelings he still had for the woman before him; his wife. He could easily see the tremble of her hands as his eyes fixated on her face, carefully studying her expression. When the dagger was revealed, he forced himself to remain composed rather than just reaching for it and grabbing it. Too many times had the dagger been in the wrong clutches, one of the worst perhaps being Zelena gaining possession of it. But never again. This time, he would guard it and not allow anyone to command him. "I think that's for the best, love," he stated, using Hook's vernacular.
"It would be best and safest that no one else knows." Except for him of course. Hearing Belle say that she was glad to put this behind her. . . well, it made Rumple curious to inquire that statement in more detail. But, he had to be mindful that perhaps the two of them had already discussed him, and he could not say anything that would cause doubt that he was who he appeared to be. His words had to be carefully chosen. "Are you sure you're ready to part with it?" He asked softly, looking intently at her, seeing what he could read in her eyes and tone of voice. "I know this can't be easy for you," he added on. How sickening it was that he and Belle had become such good friends . . . but in this particular instance, it was working to his advantage.

Belle was touched by his concern. It seemed that he had truly changed from the vindictive pirate she'd met years ago. It was more than could be said for other former villains in town. "I'm sure," she said, resting her hands lightly atop the wooden box. "I don't want it any longer. It's too much of a burden." She looked down at her nails, as if suddenly her manicure had become fascinating. "It's my last link to him, and I need to cut it." She raised her gaze to the pirate, a half smile flitting to her lips. "Thank you, for helping me. I don't think I could've done this alone."
She reached for her coat, which she'd placed over the far end of the counter. A brief glance toward the window showed that it was beginning to drizzle outside, much to her displeasure. "I suppose we should get this over with." She wanted to be parted with the dagger for good. She took the blade into her hand, unable not to think of the last time that she used it. To hide the watering of her eyes she ducked her gaze to her handbag which she stuffed the dagger into.
