This wasn't supposed to happen. If she were to have ever found love, it should have been with someone who was a villain, or at least someone who had no ties to her father at all.. But no. She had to go and start being drawn to one of the people who she should have been against. Emotions that Persephone had never felt before were flooding her and it was over whelming. She didn't know how to handle any of this. This is the part where a young girl would go cry to her parents and ask advice, but she had Maleficent and Hades. Any advice from them would be dangerous at this point.
And so, the only words of comfort that were in here ear right now, were those of Sky. He sure did paint a pretty picture.. Speaking of how evil is made and not born, and how she had a choice.. Yes, she did have a choice, and she had made it. What was she to do? Forsake her family and be a hero? "Why couldn't there be something in between?" She asked desperately, hating those tears that were falling from her eyes. "Why do I have to make a choice? They're all I ever knew, and I can't tell you that in a war i'd fight against them.. But I can tell you that I wouldn't be against you, or anyone you love. Sky, please.. Don't make me choose. I can't..." She closed her eyes, and lifted her hands to her face.
This was pathetic. If only Daddy Dear could see her now. She had only just developed a 'relationship' with her father, and she was being watched, and studied. Was she good, or bad? Was she worthy of being the daughter of Hades? Or was she to be an outcast? "Your family is good.. and kind. You don't know what it's like. You're not judging me Sky, but he will. My only family wants me to be like them, and to be good is to forsake them. Would you do the same for me? Would you do dark, horrible things in the name of love?" She paused, and looked in to his eyes again. "No.. you wouldn't. Because I'd never ask you to." It wasn't him. It wasn't who she.. It wasn't who made her happy. Who brought out this side of her.
"You are the brightest, shining creature I've ever met. You're my light.." She knelt down on the ground, still holding his gaze. "Let me be who I am. ..I would never hurt you.. I will do everything in my power to make my father leave you, and your friends alone. Just.. don't.. don't push me away." She reached out and took him by the hand, feeling as though she had reached a new low by begging. "Please." But it was needed. She couldn't lose him before she had him. He was the light to her darkness.
