Life under the sea was anything but poetic most times. But it was where her home was. Taking into account that she had not been around a human in a very long time there was no telling what would happen. Still, it was incredible just to be back here. How many times had she been under the sea, going between realm to realm?
On one of her many adventures she ran across a young man that had seemed to be lost, without a shadow of a doubt. He knew where he was headed but not in the way in which to go. This man had inspired much about what she thought, of not only humans but of life in general. He inspired so much more than what she could have instantly told him. They didn't get much time together given her life under the sea and his on land. For years she had been cursed without a voice, and without a reason for being. He was that reason. She had forgotten about everyone else for that time being.
Because he made sense. Because he made her smile and laugh. Something that she hadn't done in well she couldn't even recall when. Her eyes glistened as she prepared herself under the sea. But she knew it was almost time for her date. She knew what her father would say so she quickly swam away after getting ready. Hiding from her sisters so that none of them could tell her father what she was up to. She instantly after what felt like hours made it to the surface, near where she and her date had planned their evening. At least it was meeting point. Her eyes glistened as she would soon walk out of the water on her own two feet. Her outfit was a silver, shimmering dress that had a touch of magic to it. Even without that certain charm it still looked beautiful on her.
As she did not think it appropriate to wear the natural attire that she always was in. Plus she kind of had a bit of help from Sebastian and Flounder in making sure that she looked alright. As all they knew she was just going to the club under the sea, that they weren't even supposed to be in. But better to let them think that than this.
A simple smile encompassed her features as she looked at him. Oh how much he had not changed. It felt like he looked exactly the same as when she had last seen him. Before tonight, before being with him, she had been alone and her heart had been smashed into a thousand little pieces. So she was taking this time a little slower. Not wanting to rush it but to remember every single detail. Of course when she came up from the sea she had hoped to surprise him, but alas he had been looking at it when she had arrived. At least the sun hadn't set yet though it looked like it would at any given time.

Loki's face seem to brighten when he caught sight of his beautiful love, Ariel, coming out from the ocean as if on cue. He stood there for a moment taking in her beauty and that moment before walking over to her and holding her hands in his when close enough to her. His smile had gotten wider with every step he took towards her. "Right on time,darling...by the gods you look absolutely magnificent this evening.", he said to her with a smile before kissing her lips deeply. After that kiss he whispered softly into her ear the words that he had been dying to say for so long, "I missed you so much, my beautiful Ariel." He then offered his arm to her with a smile and said, "Dinner's ready and waiting for you right here, I made your favorite human dish...and after dinner...well, you'll see.", he said sweetly before kissing her lips once more. He was completely overjoyed in that moment of having her back in his life and he hoped it would be a bit more permanent this time unlike the last time they were with each other night and day. ariel

The sea had a calling all it's own. Her eyes glimpsed upon that of her beloved Loki. She was grateful that he at least took the notion of coming towards her and not making her walk all the way to him, not that it would have been a problem. She enjoyed his smile and one reciprocated each time he got closer to her. A smirk soon took the place of the smile as he told her that she was beautiful. "Why thank you and don't you look marvelous yourself?" She wondered if he had done anything different?
The kiss seemed to have an everlasting deep meaning. As though it were the last time he'd ever kiss her again. That was how strong and how passionate it seemed to be. "I missed you, my darling." She reciprocated. Her eyes locked on his though she couldn't help but wonder exactly where this night was headed. As she knew ten to one where it might go. She couldn't help but be impressed by the set up he had going for them. Even her favorite dish! How spoiled was she?! She loved the idea of it though. "It smells absolutely incredible. You....you did a really good job tonight I just want you to know that. And....after dinner, what did you have in mind for desert?" She asked almost teasing him with every syllable that she spoke.
She loved kissing him, enveloping her arms around his neck. It was one of her favorite things in the world to be doing. Of course she wasn't entirely sure how much time they'd have of course. As with the way nature and life seemed to have worked for them in the past, there was no telling how long they'd have. Or if the situation could be permanent. But in order for it to be permanent she'd have to get legs for more than just twelve to twenty four hours at a time. And it only seemed to happen at high tide too.
Still she would love a time where they could be together like they had been before, where they didn't have to worry about restrictions or anything else. They could be with each other all day and night if they chose to. Which if she had it her way, that would be what would happen. But she'd take what they could get.
