Takes place during Rocky Road shortly after Marion has collapsed freezing cold Killian JonesThey had been lead to the woods; the snowflakes they were following lead them into the woods. If Elsa had a choice it'd be back to her own home, she'd wake up in bed, from a bad dream. But it was no dream. She was in a town called Storybrooke, and that meant problems. She mentally went over things in her head. First she nearly froze another person to death when they got trapped together, then she found out her sister helped the father of the man she nearly froze! But then there was that other guy, Sky, he too had seen her sister. But now there was someone, someone out there with magic like hers. When she had her magic, she was the only one she knew of that had such magic. But if someone else had magic like hers, then it was possible that she could find her sister, and maybe a teacher. So she hoped. However she felt as if they were being lead in circles while following snowflakes not of her make. Which made her slightly nervous as Killain as he made himself known when they first met, a nice guy, even if his clothing befit one of those Elsa had once in her castle dungeon. Maybe it was him; but she couldn't remember. Ok finally she had to ask after another dead tree was marked up " What are you doing ?" As the two were walking she noticed marks in some of the trees behind them. X like marks. Whaever for ?

Note: proper gif coming soon! It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Hook was well aware that he was going against the explicit instructions he had been given which involved taking Elsa back to the Sheriff's station and keeping an eye on her. Killian was hardly a babysitter. He could be far more useful than that and this little venture proved it. For he and the newcomer in town were following a trail. One that could grow cold -- no pun intended -- if left unfollowed. Time was of the essence and if this led them to the snow queen then perhaps they could finally have an advantage.
As they walked, he used his hook to leave x shaped markings on the trunks of the tree. As he did his latest one, he heard Elsa inquire as to what he was doing. He slightly turned his head to look at her but did not cease walking. "Leaving a trail," he informed her, his eyes going back to the trail of snow and ice that they were currently following. "I'm more accustomed to outrunning bad weather than following it." As a captain of a ship, and spending majority of his days on the sea, he had indeed outrun many a bad storm and poor weather conditions. Bless the Jolly Roger and its durability. But alas, it now seemed that instead of steering away from the bad weather, he was consciously following it. Ah well. What was life without a little danger and thrill now and again. It was after all what he found so enticing about a pirate's life. And fortunately, Storybrooke was anything but dull.

Leaving a trail; that made sense. Wait. Yes it did make sense. Elsa half smiled and had to run a bit to catch up to him, her cape trailing behind her, twice already it caused her to trip a bit until she figured out a proper way to coil in a bit on her right arm. Not that she minded. Her mind went over things. Mostly since her inital meeting with Killian and Emma, and Emmas father David, and soon after Emmas mother. All of them were nice people, Though she still felt a bit guilty of what she had nearly done to Emma in the ice.
"So, What do we do when we find who this leads to ?" It was not every day she herself followed snowflakes on a wild fox chase. She truly felt like they were going in circles. All Elsa could think about was asking two things, why harm someone like Marian, and if they could stop the spell. But that also brought her to something else. If whoever cast thespell on Marian had the same magic as herself. That explained why her wall was still up!
Her mind wandered again, this time to how close Killian was with Emma, when the lights turned on he had gotten something that generated heat and aimed it at Emma to warm her up. So as they walked Elsa said mostly offhand but something of a truthful statement. "You like her dont you ?" She meant him liking Emma, since Elsa met them she noticed things. It was kind of weird, and it reminded her of her sister a lot.
The snowflakes they were following seemingly halted briefly and swirled in place before moving again, a little faster then before. Making them run briefly to catch up and continue following deeper into the woods. Elsa barely remembered the woods in her homeland. The only time she really did remember the woods was near the Valley of Living Rock. Or hiding from Anna...
Wait, hiding from Anna ? Was it recent or was it when they were children ? Elsas memories were so jumbled she had no idea how she had even gotten into the urn for ice sake! All she could clearly remember was the last words she had spoken to Anna before ewaking up in the urn 'That is exactly what Mother said' But as to what their mother had said that she said those words to Anna, Elsa had no clue whatsoever

Note: proper gif coming soon! It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Now that was certainly a good question. What would they do indeed when they caught up to her. Hook himself had no magic abilities and while Elsa did . . . well, it was certainly safer to get back up rather than try to take down this powerful being on their own. "When we find the source, I'll contact the others. Emma gave me a talking . . . device . . . thing, that allows me to communicate with her through a speaking and listening . . . machine." For lack of a better terms. "Apparently this phenomena is called a talking phone." An odd thing indeed, but perhaps one that would prove to be convenient. He always saw the others using it. For him, it was a bloody nuisance.
Her next question almost made him pause in his actions of following the trail, but he managed to quickly recompose himself. He knew it was no secret how he felt for Emma -- especially after his confessions on the caves in Neverland. And it certainly was less of a secret now that they were somewhat together. At least more together than they had been in the past year plus. He remained silent for a few moments, before giving a sincere answer. "Aye," he stated, glancing at her for a moment before his eyes returned to the snow they were following. "Is it that obvious?" He said almost jokingly because . . . well, he supposed even he knew that it was. "She's incredibly special," he added, his voice strong with sincerity. There was no way a single person in Storybrooke could deny that. She's Savior after all. But for Killian, what made her special far exceeded merely that title.

Elsa tried to keep from laughing or anything of the sort, but a soft giggle escaped her lips "Snow isn't bad,, besides, we're following magic." She said in regards to the bad weather. Though she had to wonder what he meant by the term briefly. but as they walked he had her attention, which was why the soft giggle when he spoke about Emma being special. It was true, Emma was indeed special, and that was not because of her title.
At his look she continued softly as the walked behind the trail of snowflakes ahead "Its just that, Emma has magic and you clearly dont follow her orders" In this case the request to stay at the sherrif station. Which to be honest, Elsa was quite thankful for. After all, there was someone out here in this time and town with magic like hers, and her sister was still missing! So naturally Killian was going against Emmas request and helping to find whodunit.
Elsa however had to hand it to Killian, she felt that she could trust the man, even though she nearly killed Emma in the ice cavern only days before.
