[Killian Jones]

So I thought about having a thread where we could share our head!canons so . . . Here's my first one!

[Singing!Hook: we all know how talented of a musician Colin is so my first head!canon is that Hook has a secret talent for singing! He only reveals this to people he is close to! While in Storybrooke he is learning to play guitar as well! As he grows more comfortable in town he enjoys singing more and more!

[Liam Jones]

Actually both Killian and Liam sing and enjoy music. It's in their genes as well as in their upbringing. Their mother was already very fond of singing. She sang to both her sons as soon as they were born and later encouraged them to sing with her. They still remember their old lullabies.

Uncharacteristic skills of the Jones' brothers
Cooking - Both Killian and Liam are good cooks. Not gourmet restaurant good, but good enough to taste good. The older brother learnt the basics out of necessity, because he had to feed his younger brother somehow when they were alone. The rest he learnt in the Navy. Killian learnt by observing Liams cooking, as well as in the Navy. The Navy, since ships were mostly manned by men, did not allow for traditional gender roles so cooking and cleaning was always part of what their youngsters learnt. For Killian this skill proved to be more than helpful in Neverland.
Swimming - A lot of sailors, even in the Navy never learnt to swim. Liam and Killian are a happy exception. Having grown up close to water, they learnt it basically as soon as they learnt to walk from their mother. She didn't want her boys to drown after all. So both Killian and Liam could save drowning men or women, if they wanted to without endangering their own lives.
