He was able to sit in Granny's diner and enjoy a decent breakfast, which mainly consisted of coffee. He was also able to leisurely read the paper, which was not something he always had the luxury to do. He was well aware that it would only last a short while. Some sort of incident would arise in the town but for the time being, Graham was merely enjoying a good cup of coffee. Ruby came by with the pot and Graham smiled as he politely requested another cup, thanking her for her services. He had been so engrossed in his reading, that he had failed to notice that someone was approaching him in the diner, until the person's shadow was cast over his paper, forcing him to look up and make eye contact with them. Something told him that relaxation time was over, and it was now time to get back to work. |
