Dance. It was what Jasmine was good at. She didn't have many life skills thanks to all of the pampering that had been bestowed on her when she was young, and the life of a cashier at the Storybrooke market - her job when she was thrust in to this place - didn't seem like the right place for her. So, she spent most of her free time in Djali's dance studio. She and the woman who owned the studio were friends, and so she had given Jasmine a set of keys so that she could blow off steam whenever she felt necessary...and she was using those to her advantage right now. It was eleven o'clock pm and the town of Storybrooke was relatively quiet. She was just now readjusting to her memories coming back, and she hadn't even had a chance to speak to Aladdin yet. Rajah, however, had found her quickly.
In fact she had found that there were five missed calls on her cell phone from him, and the thought made her smile. She and Rajah of course had no romantic relationship at all, but he was her protector in her former life, and in this one. The two of them had been parted for so long. He was a security guard, and really, what sort of business did a security guard have with a cashier at a corner store? But now, all of that time needed to be caught up on...and clearly, Rajah was worried that she hadn't been checking in. Instead of making a call and sounding all out of breath and weird from her belly dancing routine that she had just been practicing, she sent a text.
I'm safe. At Djali's. Had my phone on silent. Just needed to think. Meet me here if you're still awake. I need a friend.

Rajah had been pacing back and forth anxiously. It was bad enough that she didn't answer the first call . . . but then there was the second, then the third, and the fourth . . . and then the fifth! That was when Rajah had completely panicked. He had just been getting off his shift and not having heard any word from Jasmine, left him quite worried and frantic. He knew she wasn't at work. Yes. Rajah made it a habit to know her schedule. He had even looked at the regular locations . . . all but one. So when he saw his phone had a message, he nearly leaped out of his skin. She was alive! . . . And she was in so much trouble. He made his way quicly over to the dance studio and hurried toward her. "Five missed calls!" Was the first thing he said.
"Do you have any idea how worried I was? Not hearing from you at this late hour had me fearing the worst!" He cared not if he was over protective of her; he would do whatever it took to make sure she was safe and not knowing her whereabouts at this hour of the night did not reassure him that she was safe. "Next time tell me where you're going." Part of the perks of being a human now, was that he could actually use words to communicate with her rather than purrs and growls. He took her bag from her, slinging it over his shoulder. "Are you alright?" He asked, the panic starting to ebb away and genuine concerned for her well being became to seep out. Her message had said that she needed a friend, he hoped all was well.

Although Jasmine had felt a little better after getting some of her confusion, and anger, and everything she felt out of her during her dancing, she still didn't quite feel entirely at ease. She needed to talk, and she needed her best friend to do that. She knew, however, that she was going to get an ear full when he had showed up. Sure enough, just as she'd finished packing up her things in to her duffle bag, there he was. With a storm of anger. ...that was how he dealt with frustration. It wasn't out of disrespect or anything of the sort, but as Rajah, or Nemr as he was called here, went on his rant of how she had missed all of his calls, and how she should tell him next time where she was going to be, she couldn't help but smile.
Her father was someone she hadn't seen since she left Agrabah. It wasn't on the best terms, either. He didn't want her to leave, but of course she needed to live her own life. He would have likely seen her with a prince, but he allowed her to go anyway. Still though..there was a little bit of animosity. She felt it in the air the last time they spoke before she had gone to the Enchanted Forest with the others. But now..she'd never see him again. Rajah took up the fatherly post, although they were the same age. He protected her here, just as he did in Agrabah, and she'd always love him for it. "Easy, tiger." She spoke with a sweet smile. "I promise I'll answer my phone next time. I just needed to blow off some steam." She breathed a sigh and shook her head. "I'll never get used to you actually being able to yell at me. You used to just growl."
He asked her if she was alright, and she gave him a small nod. "I'm fine....well.. I will be fine. Eventually. After the memories came back, a lot of things came with it. Dealing with the repercussions and guilt of leaving Agrabah were a lot easier when the man I left it for was actually right there by my side... but I haven't found him yet. In fact.. I haven't gotten to see anyone. Abu.. Genie.. Aladdin..." Her voice showed a small hint of pain. "..Have you seen anyone yet?"
