Cordelia was already have a wonderful time! She'd never been to a ball before! In fact, the only time she'd ever really danced was when she was at home alone and was feeling energetic, or when she had a tune stuck in her head that she just felt like boogieing to. This was something completely different. Everyone was dressed to the nines.. No... to the TENS! And they were waltzing and looking so elegant. Cordelia was waiting for Zale to show up.. He was supposed to be coming along with his sister. Cordelia came along with her friend Ariel. Ariel had been a bit down lately, and was going stag to the ball as she still hadn't found Eric, so she though she may cheer her up.
Ariel managed to find someone to dance with, though.. and this left Cordelia to be on her own and nervous! She was okay though..she'd find some way to relax. And what a better way than to hit up the buffet? She strode as gracefully as possible toward the buffet table, and she started putting samples of fruit and little tiny cakes on a plate. Everyone needed mingling snacks. And mingling is exactly what she was about to do! Dancing, swaying - by herself - she coasted across the dance floor, staying out of the way of the couples. Until Zale showed up..she would have her own fun!
