.:Physical Appearance:. Ruby's physical appearance is quite striking with eyes that are a fantastically crisp shade of green. Her hair is dark brown and depending on the time line she had slashes of red woven through. She is often seen wearing a red cloak which magically stops the effects that the full moon has on her.

.:Personality:. When we first meet Ruby her personality is that of a wild a child quite rebellious not wanting to be trapped to the life in a small town such as that of Storybrooke. After the curse is broken she calms down no longer really acting like a spoilt teenager the curse turned her into. She very strong willed which is most likely from her wolf heritage. She is very loyal and is always ready to help those in need even when they might not return the favour or even use her just for her abilities.
.:Strengths:. As she is part wolf Ruby as a wicked sense of smell. This has been proved many times when she helped Emma track down Kathryn Nolan when she was feared to be dead. Another strength is her loyaly and her ability to keep control of her animalistic side during a full moon. Evan as a scared wolf that had been hunted by the towns folk when they feared her. Ruby kept control and managed not to attack nor hurt anyone choosing her friendship before the need to attack in protection of herself.
.:Weaknesses:. Her red clock which stops her wolf heritage from turning her during a full moon. While in wolf form the only weapon that can harm Ruby is silver just like that of any other werewolf. Granny Lucas. Though Ruby and Granny Lucas don't always see eye to eye Ruby will always have a weak spot for her grandmother.

'Who's Afraid of The Big Bad Wolf' Red's story is that between two commonly known fairy tales. Little Red Riding Hood and Peter and the Wolf. Red grew up with the knowledge that her mother had died and not knowing anything of her father she was raised by her grandmother Widow 'Granny' Lucas in a small village within the Enchanted Forest. She grew up a normal little girl without the knowledge of her family's wolf heritage. Her grandmother deciding best to keep this secret concealed from the innocent girl instead telling a tale of the big bad wolf in an attempt to scare the child into wearing a magically enchanted cloak that stops the effects that wolfs time/ a full moon has on the budding werewolf.
Red was naive to the information of her true nature until well into her twenties. Though during one wolfs time her first real love a blacksmiths son named Peter had asked her to run away with him so they could be together and not have to hide their rendezvous but due to being protective of her grand daughter and the secret that she had kept from her all of her life Widow Lucas forbid Red from leaving telling her to stay inside the cottage that they stayed keep the windows closed and schooled her into keeping on her red cloak as Granny would often tell her "Red repels wolfs" which would keep her protected from the wolf that lurked their village every full moon.
Red the strong minded woman she had been raised to be would rather make her own decisions in her life and would most often than not take the chance of not wearing her cloak and sneaking off in the night through the window of her bedroom. Every morning when she woke after taking her cloak off news would spread through the village of the wolf and the terror it had caused on the village and the people whom were resident.
While out fetching eggs for her grandmother Red found a woman stowed away chicken coop whom told her name was Mary (Snow). She and her new acquaintance went for a walk through the snowy village only stopping when they found a group of villagers that had gone out the night before to hunt the wolf. The villagers all dead, ripped to shreds by the wolf. The women followed the snowy paw prints of the large wolf to find out where it stalked in the village. These tracks followed all the way back to the window of Red's bedroom. The paw prints changing into tracks those of a human. The only human that had been near Reds window was Peter.
Not wanting to believe it was her love Red told Peter what she had found he vowed that he had to be chained up on the full moon believing it had to be him that was killing the villagers. Helping Peter that evening chaining him to a tree to keep him at bay when and if he changed into a wolf. Though all was not as it seemed as the full moon come into light it was Red who changed into the big bad wolf...

Her howl at the full moon could be heard no matter where you were stood in the small quaint town of Storybrooke Maine. She had managed to gain control of her wolf heritage and no longer saw herself as a threat to the town like she had the night before. David as he was whom in this land had helped her greatly in her attempt to accept the wolf inside her once again. She wanted to be free and once again after twenty eight years she was finally able to be free. The fear she had felt inside her since Emma had broken the curse and brought the towns memories back was great. Ruby every day feared the approaching full moon but she had nothing to fear as her friendship and loyalties won over.
She had run for hours scouring the land that the curse had brought her too. She had been trapped for twenty eight years and until now she had no real idea of what the town contained other than Granny's Bed and Breakfast and Granny's Diner. She ran from the town line at one side of the town to the exact line on the other side and she felt great. The forest ground beneath her paws this was who she was and this was exactly what she loved to do. Not be cooped up in a diner severing people food or showing people to a room nor did she have any interest in overseeing the books at either of her grandmothers businesses she was a werewolf and she liked to be free to explore the lands and find out what this strange world that they lived had to offer.
