How to be brave? How can I love when I'm afraid to fall? But watching you stand alone, all of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow.
Regina glanced towards the cloak that was now fitted around her, frowning at the slightly worn out fabric. Being the Queen of the enchanted forest, Regina had become somewhat accustomed to the illustrious wardrobe that came with such a status, but nonetheless she smiled at Robin the best she possibly could.
"Why... thank you... Robin."
The Queen thought about Robin's offer for a brief moment. Is it too soon to be riding with a man she met only five minutes ago? What if, god forbid, someone catches them? Regina turned her attention towards the noble steeds, slowly caressing the creature with a gentle smile.
"Well, I'm hardly dressed to go riding by myself... perhaps we could ride together, if that's okay?"
Continuing to stroke her fingers through the horse's mane, it seemed as though Regina had taken a shining to one horse in particular, chuckling lightly as it huffed at the touch of her hand. Getting so lost in the moment, the Queen almost forgotten why she even required Robin's "help" in the first place.
"My, aren't you a handsome young man?"
The horse gave out another calm huff as Regina beamed with joy. It certainly took her back to the good old days of riding her horses through the endless meadows of the Enchanted Forest; a slightly simpler time in Regina's life.

Regina smiled as her name parted from the man's lips. After spending what seemed like an eternity plagued with sadness... was this truly what being happy felt like? Perhaps that stupid fairy had scored a home run after all. She followed the man towards the door as the two proceeded outside, escaping the prying eyes that watched over them.
"He ran for the meadows the last time I saw him, but whatever we do, we have to be quick. I can only imagine the type of gossip that will ensue once the people find me riding around with a rogue."
But it was only after those coarse words left her mouth that Regina realized just how harsh she sounded. With a bite of her lip, Regina quickly apologized on her own behalf.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. You know how these people like to talk... though I don't think I quite caught your name back there?"
Already she wanted to kick herself. She couldn't quite believe that, within the space of a mere few minutes, Regina's fiery side had already reared its gutsy head. She hoped that her sharp tongue hadn't scared the man off, because in truth, there was something much different about him. He wasn't like the other men in Regina's life in the sense that Regina actually enjoyed his presence.

Regina couldn't help herself but gawk at the tattoo upon his wrist, almost becoming completely oblivious that the rugged man had even replied. With a quick shake of her head, Regina snapped out of her small trance, trying her best to squash her nerves.
"Oh... yes! I'm sorry, it's just that my..."
Her eyes scurried all over the room, desperately in search for an excuse that would justify her standing in this rather disheveled inn. Soon enough, her attention quickly turned to a lone portrait that hung on the wall, depicting a herd of horses running through the fields of one of many meadows in the Enchanted Forest.
"Horse! Yes! One of the horses escaped the stables not too long ago and the King will be terribly upset... but I was told that you might be able to help out? Oh... and please, call me Regina."
Could this really be him? Could she really be staring into the face of her happy ending right now? Or could this just be a cruel joke being played on her at the hands of that little winged imp? Either way, one thing was for sure; the man that stood before her was incredibly handsome. There was something about him that Regina felt strangely drawn to. Perhaps it was the accent? Or maybe his charm? Whatever it may be, Regina was completely enticed by his presence.

"Oh please..." Regina muttered, approaching the rather dismal man. "I know you pirates like a drink every now and then but this is ridiculous."
Regina never was particularly close to the pirate. Sure, they had a little history here and there, but he was never really a man that occupied her attention. However in this dreaded moment of heartbreak, the two shared quite a lot in common. Both of them were forced to say goodbye to the people that their hearts desired the most, seemingly forever, as they wallow in their own self-pity. After fighting so hard to be the woman that Henry needs in his life, within the blink of an eye her efforts were destroyed and now? Now Henry resided in another world with absolutely no knowledge of Regina's existence or the harrowing pain she was enduring.
Though despite their rather null relationship, Regina knew she couldn't just leave him here to rot. She knew it wouldn't be what Henry wanted. Instead, she offered the man a sympathetic sigh, glancing down towards him as he slouched at the base of the tree.
"Look, I know how you're feeling right now, trust me. Fate has had its way with me more times than anyone in this grisly forest combined and believe me when I say that this won't help."

How to be brave? How can I love when I'm afraid to fall? But watching you stand alone, all of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow.
The wooden door leading into the inn swung open as Regina stood at the entrance, peeping into the rather crowded building as she remained rooted in her fearful state. This was it. This was the moment she would find her true love... or at least according to a certain Fairy it was. Regina battled with herself for what seemed like minutes, unsure as to whether or not she take a chance and make that leap.
Eventually, she took a single step inside. And then another... and then another. Slowly but surely, Regina gathered her confidence and examined the room, cringing at the typical drunks and the promiscuous women until... there he was. The man with the Lion tattoo. As soon as Regina cast her sight at the ink, her heart began to race at an extraordinary rate. She knew that it was now or never. Allowing a deep sigh to part at her lips, Regina took a few steps forward, approaching the man from behind as he sat at the table. "Ummm, excuse me?" she whispered, in a hesitant tone.

.:Name:. Regina Mills .:Nick Name:. The Evil Queen .:Affiliation:. Neither .:Status:. Royal .:Story:. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Both in the magical land of the Enchanted Forest and the quaint town of Storybrooke, Regina likes to contrast her cutthroat demeanor with a sophisticated wardrobe. In the land of magic, Regina's attires mainly consisted of various gowns of all shapes and sizes. Whether they hugged her petite frame or whether they flowed along the cobbles behind her, the Evil Queen lived up to her status in only the finest pieces seen throughout the realm. In Storybrooke, however, things are a little different. Trading her role as the Evil Queen for a life as the Mayor, Regina's wardrobe switched from elegant frocks to a more conservative choice of wear instead, fitting for her new stance as an authority figure. .:Height:. 5'4'' .:Portrayed by:. Lana Parrilla
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. Cruel and often cutthroat, Regina's sharp-tongued nature helped develop her reputation as a cold-blooded ruler during her reign as the Evil Queen, something of which, by no surprise, remained intact as the town of Storybrooke came into existence. Though despite her relatively short fuse, Regina is still fiercely protective over those she cares for and won't hesitate to jump in as a means of defending them. .:Strengths:. Knowledge of magic, strong willed, determined, protective .:Weaknesses:. Self destructive, obsessive, callous, cruel
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. The Enchanted Forest .:Family:. Cora (Mother), Prince Henry (Father), Zelena (Half-Sister), Henry (Adoptive Son) .:Occupation:. The Mayor of Storybrooke .:History:. "Love is weakness", or at least, those were the words thrust upon her at a young age. While many dream of finding true love in their peaceful slumbers, Regina's hopes of finding the same were cruelly ripped away from her at the hands of her heartless mother, Cora, in a bid to prove that power triumphs over petty love. In one swift motion, Cora ripped Daniel's heart from the comfort of his own body and crushed it before her Daughter's very own eyes. The trauma of losing her soul mate was enough to send Regina's life dwindling out of control, causing the troubled young woman to vow her vengeance against the one girl who helped all of this happen - Snow White.
Sadly for Regina, this was only the beginning of her role as the pawn in her Mother's wicked ways. Cora used her renown manipulation in order to secure Regina the title of Queen by setting her up with Snow White's Father, King Leopold. At the time, Regina rejected such an idea as her heart belonged to the stable boy, however after his untimely death and the the idea that happiness springs to life in the form of power, Regina took his hand in marriage and, in doing so, not only would see to become the Queen, but would become the step-Mother to the little girl she so secretly despised more than any other.
The last thing Regina wanted to do was to follow the footsteps of her vicious Mother. She knew what tampering with magic could do. She knew of the dangerous repercussions that could come with it in a packaged deal... yet still her curiosity got the better of her. She sought a powerful man who went by the name Rumpelstiltskin and, in no time, proved to be quite the student. Propelled by her desire for vengeance, Regina honed her natural talents of using magic and perfected her craft, eventually turning into the powerful sorceress that she was once fearful of.
Though while she now had knowledge of magic up her sleeve, Regina still remained a prisoner in her own home, trapped inside a loveless marriage. In a bid to not only free herself, but to hurt Snow White in the worst possible way, Regina manipulated the Genie of Agrabah and toyed with his heart, tricking the naive man into murdering her husband with the venomous bite of two deadly vipers. Unable to let Regina go, the Genie used his last wish and with it, used it to forever be at her side. However, this wish proved to have tragic repercussions. The Genie quickly found his body being transported to that of a mirror, seemingly trapped inside its reflection forever.
With her husband dead, Regina rose to become the Queen of the Enchanted Forest, though her sinful deeds quickly molded her malevolent reputation throughout the land. She wasn't just the Queen. She was the Evil Queen. Ever since the day Regina assembled the plan to murder her husband, her heart only darkened. Many men and women met their fate at her merciless hands, thought in truth, the Evil Queen was only interested in one heart and said heart remained tucked away in the cozy alcove of Snow White's chest. In a bid to enact her ultimate vengeance and with the help of Rumpelstiltskin himself, Regina casted the infamous Dark Curse that ultimately transported their lies and everything they ever knew to the quaint town of Storybrooke. There, Regina was truly in charge of her own happy ending, but little did she know her entire plan was destined to come to a crashing halt.
Many things happened after that fateful day, things that most wouldn't even dream of mumbling out of pure fear, but no matter which land she graced, one thing would always remain intact: Regina will always be Queen.

"Stupid fairy." she muttered under her breath in a venomous tone. "What does she know about love? I sincerely doubt she could spell the word, much less find it." Regina reached into her elegant attire, pulling out a small trinket in the form of a little golden locket she kept dear to her darkened heart. After tracing her finger along the encrusted edges, Regina slowly opened it up, gazing in awe at the picture of Daniel that remained hidden inside. "I will not be distracted from my revenge... I will not forget you, Daniel." Though deep down, it wasn't just her hunger for revenge that was holding her back, but rather the fear that fate will soon come flailing its arms in her direction. She knew that, no matter how good things were going for her in that moment, her happiness would never last. True love would never last. And not a single fairy in the land was ever going to have her think otherwise. Instead, Regina choose the life of a loveless marriage over investing hope into something that could backfire terribly.
She steadily paced her way through the palace and, while it was quite the remarkable abode, Regina still couldn't help but feel trapped. This wasn't a life that she chose to live, but rather a life forced upon her. She knew she wasn't happy, and she knew that no amount of wealth was ever going to fill the emptiness that had infiltrated her darkening heart. Soon enough, the young woman found herself at Snow White's room, slowly patrolling the area as she cast her eyes over Snow's possessions and belongings. With an impish grin slowly forming at her lips, Regina whispered. "Don't think you've gotten off lightly, dear. You may be young, but there's still a very important lesson that you have to learn. ALL actions have consequences, but yours? Yours will be fatal." Regina scoffed under her breath, taking a glimpse at the portrait of Snow and her immediate family that hung nicely on the wall. "You'll soon come to find out what it's like having everything ripped away from you just as I did, and when that happens? Your pitiful empire will crumble."
